I will go as far as to say I won't stay anywhere else in all of Richmond. This place is so close to all the cute shops and yummy restaurants that Pt Richmond has to offer and the price is very reasonable. It's actually two separate buildings. One is the historic hotel plus restaurant, and there's a smaller annex just a few steps away on another street. I've always stayed in the annex, but someday I'll book the main hotel. But don't worry, we took care of her tip. Have a good day." Umm, excuse me? I was a server for over 7 years. First of all, I wouldn't expect a tip after the establishment that failed me by not ensuring they had adequate kitchen supplies to keep a Mother's Day up and running. Additionally, I would have added more staff to the day, which would of course be very busy. And lastly, how are we tipped when you comped the bill and walked away, and nobody had cash? We did not ask for the bill to be comped. So for future reference, dear John I don't recommend calling your customers and bullying them over voicemail. You're the problem, not us.

Since we had family visiting, I wanted to stop at some scenic spots and for a nightcap along the way back to their respective hotels. This company was great, with allowing us to "go with the flow" on the stops we made (compared to some other limo companies that I contacted but didn't hire because they required a set driving itinerary beforehand). I ended up calling them the day prior to make sure what our pickup time was. She told me they don't usually call until the afternoon of the day prior. They picked us up from our hotel and brought us to the meeting location at 6am. Coffee, water, tea, muffins, and granola bars were available. The muffins were very tasty. There was very minimum communication. They never said what time we would be leaving. They gave us a bathroom reminder and then a long wait and then suddenly it was time to go. They fit a lot of people in a small waiting area. Which is outside btw. The staff was nice however, the person calling names for groups said our last name so wrong we didn't even know it was us and she was so quiet you could barely hear her. If you're in a later group, you will have a long day. We were in group one and got back to our hotel by 9am and other balloons hadn't even landed yet. Our driver, Bailey, was so sweet and nice. Our pilot was Chad, and you better hope you get him. He was informative, funny, nice, communicated well and considerate. Once we went to the launch site, it was a 20-30 mins wait for the balloon to be ready. We were in the air for about a half hour. We landed and then the vans came to get us, brought us back to the meeting location, and the our hotel. We had a good experience. Plan your day accordingly as you might not get back to your hotel until 930-1030.

There was a snag on the day due to a freeway closure after an unrelated accident but I was able to work with the driver directly to minimize the issue as much as possible.
