They have both jungle and sea themed areas, which kept things fun and engaging. One of his favorite parts was the air tube in the jungle section where you toss colorful scarves in and watch them fly up into the air. He could've done that all day! They also have nut-free snacks, drinks, merch, and some beanie bouncer stuffed animals. There's a nice seating area for parents and even a coffee bar, which is always a plus. They even have a mascot that comes out occasionally to greet the kids! Parking was super easy too. Overall, it's a great spot to bring kids, especially on hot or rainy days. We'll definitely add this plce into our rotation of indoor play places!

We have been about 4 times and the last time we went it was fairly crowded. Every other time we have been the only family there. This last time we went a child coughed in her face and now she is sick. That being said, I actively saw staff sanitize the facility multiple times while I was there.

Enter "Escape Folsom" who provided a more engaging social interaction for those of us willing to take the risk with the Spirit & Heat of the 1800s 49ers Miners and Saloons! THE SETUP The whole idea of escape rooms is to put together a small group of people - ideally about eight (8)? - and give us some basic cryptic instructions on how we escape a room / wing of a building / structure. Some of these clues were MORE than cryptic. We were thrown into what looked like a bar from the 1890s in Old Sacramento. Old Register. Old timey phone. Old bar tops and stools. And yet some more modern items like a cigarette machine and a jukebox from the 60s. * Any string of numbers we saw could be a clue, such as the numbers we spotted on the telephone and the jukebox; * Any weird box with a number lock hold a clue if we could just unlock the lock; * And repeating songs we heard containing digits could hold the answer too. It took a some time trying to figure out what numbers went to which locks, and which items needed to be unlocked in sequence with reference to the other items. Yada Yada Yada, we DID IT! With 8 minutes of our hour left! THE BAR Escape Folsom's bar is legit. Post up. Grab a drink while you wait for the rest of your crew to show up. Or even host a quick birthday - like we did - for our friends Bambi and Kristen when we finally finished our escape - in their comfy bar nooks and rooms. GOOD TIMES. THE LOWDOWN Escape rooms are a fun way to engage each other with some energetic conversations and some *highbrow* puzzle solving! Escape Folsom is a great diversion on a hot day!

The place gets packed and is pretty lively. They have a full bar and some really good Mexican food! I ordered a few tacos, carnitas and sweet corn, and they were both delicious! The tacos came as 3 small street tacos so you definitely want to order more than one if you're really hungry. Friends tried some of the other taco options and a few quesadillas. Everyone was really happy and enjoyed their food. Will definitely be coming back for more food, fun, and trivia!

The owner is a friend, but keep reading to find out why. The owner of Karting Concepts is very passionate about kart racing and his local club tracks in Davis ( BlueMax Kart Club ) and Folsom ( Prairie City SVRA - All Star Karting ). I've known him since 2013 in which he started a business relationship with the company that I work for. I'm used to getting sales pitches and other non-creative marketing tossed my direction from the racing circles, but Patrick was different. He urged me to come back out to the local track, Blue Max Kart Club and to try club racing again, with a Briggs and Stratton 206 powered kart. At first I had no interest because, "I'm a shifter guy!!!". I've been around karting since 1995, and my smiles come from driving a shifter kart, so a lawn mower engine package had no appeal to me. Patrick kept working on me to come out and give it a try. After about a year, I finally headed out to BlueMax for a club race and the class I entered had about 30 kart on the track. This shifter guy had a huge smile on his face, not because the karts are super fast like a shifter, but because the racing was intense and close. After I got out, I became an ambassador for the Briggs LO206 platform because it was a great start up package for all kart racers. I enjoyed a large field, close racing, and once I bought my own equipment, relatively affordable (by motorsports standards) cost to hit the track. Now over the years, Patrick and I have become friends. He has a real passion for the sport of karting, as do I. He is honest with people and he puts others first. If the world had more people with his temperament and personality, it would be a much better place. He has participated at all levels in the karting business. He had offered rental programs do introduce new people to the sport. He runs a side business to retail karts and parts. He has traveled to big national karting events to support customers. He has spent countless hours building the local kart club and growing membership numbers. Do I need to go on?

Snaps for this new park!…read more My kids and I are always on the hunt for new parks and this one recently opened. Yass! Has multiple shaded seated area. Bbqs for public use. Very clean bathrooms. Two playgrounds one for the big kids and one for little kids. A giant spinning wheel that can fit multiple kids. There is a giant swing for kids. Very neat park. Parking can be limited and it can get hottttt! Still fun and recommend!

My boys are 1&3 and this was the perfect place for all the kids to just run around, let loose and not worry about age limits, height limits or anything. They have toys and activities for any age. Even the adults were hopping on the zip line. The owners were so damn nice and wouldn't let us help with anything because they wanted it to be stress free and make sure the parents enjoyed their kids' birthday. Even when we insisted on helping clean up with food and stuff, they told us no. And we were so happy to find out this is a nonprofit place, helping the community. We will definitely be taking our kids back just to play during the day sometime. Thank you everything exhilaration station!!

There are a few medium sized trees (not mature enough to provide ample shade on hot Summer days). It's also nice that this park has a bathroom (not many community parks have one). Another plus is that the park is gated from the big streets.
