Cheaper alternative to the Apple Store and super fast service.

I've only had my iPhone repaired. The phone would not hold the charging cable, and hence the phone was not getting charged. I thought the port needed cleaning, which I attempted myself without much luck. I took it in and they had it fixed and me out the door in less than ten minutes. No effort to upsell me something. Fixed my Ipad screen. When I went to pick it up there was a small air bubble. The guy didn't hesitate to apologize and said they would take care of it and call me the next day. It was 2 days later when I called to see what was up they informed me it would be ready that day. Everyone was super nice and I used a deal through Yelp to make it even cheaper. These guys are amazing! Last year I needed a fan replaced in my Mac and this year a memory upgrade. They're quick and professional and so reasonably priced! For the memory upgrade, I was in and out in 20 minutes, and the guy talked me OUT of spending more. I thought I was going to have to buy a new computer and just needed more memory. I brought my son's iPhone 4s here because it was turning off after he had dropped it. The back of the phone was also loose. They recommended a new battery and said the back needed to be replaced. Total would be $65 and done in 45 minutes. I came back in an hour, and the tech said the phone wasn't fixable. Despite working with my phone for close to an hour, I wasn't charged. I went home and found my old iPhone 4s (that I only replace with a new phone because the battery was bad) and brought it to The Apple Exchange. They replaced the battery in five minutes for $30. Bonus - I found the store on Yelp, and they had a buy $20 of service for $10 offer. So, I purchased it and actually only paid $20 for the battery and service. read more

Great service! Had to get a otter box for an iPad that was older than the ones at Best Buy! This place was well staffed and stocked. They repair and sell computers also! Great place to go! Especially when you're from out of town. read more

Son dropped ipad on the corner so screen shattered and corner was dented. Was glad to find a place open on the weekend. The guy at the store was very helpful explaining what would be done and quoted me what they charged. Job was done in a few hours while I ran some errands and they called me when it was ready. Apple Xchange was referred to me as I was looking for a refurbished MacBook Pro. They didn't have the configuration I was looking at that time, though they said they'd probably be getting some in soon. To my pleasant surprise I got a call later that day that they received one. After checking it out, I purchased it. Not only does it have a one year warranty, it included free data migration from my old MacBook! A better deal than I had hoped to get from anywhere else. What can I say, came in for a class, to see if I could coax a few more miles out of my old computer, and walked out with 2 new ones, well new to us anyway, for less than the price of 1 new one. And they even transferred all of our data, out of 2 computers, on a day that they are only open for half a day. Great customer service, they answered all of our questions, even some we didn't know we had. Including the one we came in for in the first place, which was that we couldn't do what the Geniuses told us we could on the computers that we had. Chris and Cory ( I hope I spelled that right) attempted to teach us work arounds so we could do it on our old computers, but we decided on the upgrades, no hard sell from them just good clean answers to our questions. We could not be happier with our purchases, the class we attended for free, and above all, the customer service. If you are looking for Apple products, or to get your Apple products repaired, I can honestly say, you can not do better than the Apple Xchange. I have gone to this store a few times, and while it is woefully out of my way, the service is good and the prices are affordable. My only suggestion is get a second location somwhere on the west side of the valley, like glendale or somewhere so I don't have to drive so far out there. read more

Came here because the track pad on my MacBook 13" Pro stopped working. They informed me my battery was swelling and in turn was pushing against my track pad. They fixed it the same day. Great customer service ask for Andre and Jake ! read more

I had water spilled onto my laptop, and brought it in after going to the Apple store and being told it was going to be a $750 charge since my computer stopped working. I brought it in, and they spent an hour cleaning up the inside of my computer and got it working perfectly. It cost me $50 to fix water damage - can't get much better than that! Definitely coming to them with any technical issues in the future. read more

I was really pleased with the fast affordable service at this store. This is the second time the screen has been fixed on this phone. The first time it was repaired it was well over $100. I came in to the store after my Mac was damaged on my flight home. Power cord wouldn't charge and the fan was malfunctioning. They fixed it in under 5 minutes and didn't even charge me! I am now a customer for life. These guys are great! read more

This place is awesome! Super friendly service. They fixed my cracked iPhone 6 in about 45 mins and is looking brand new. They had an upgraded tempered glass protector that I grabbed as well because they showed me with the protector on and took a screw driver and stabbed my phone and the glass was good as new. Highly recommend! Got my iPhone 5 screen replaced for $89 minus the yelp deal. I've had bad experiences at places that did a sketch job on my phone but this place was fast (finished in about 15 or so minutes since no one was in front of me), immaculate work, great price, and friendly employees. Today I traveled to The Apple Xchange--third repair due to broken iPhone screens. Seems my family does break a few screens. These workers know what they're doing + can remove small case dents. If you have a few dents or bent case, this becomes an extra cost due to labor. They basically clean up the iPhone, replace the screen in under one hour. Never had an issue as I highly recommend The Apple Xchange to all. read more

I was looking for a nearby store that sells Mac products and offers knowledgeable service, and I found it with Apple Xchange! They offer a large selection recent Mac computers with a full one-year warranty, and they back it up. I bought an iMac about 8 months ago, and when it appeared that there were some issues with the hard drive, they replaced it with a better drive and transferred all my data...all covered by their warranty. I highly recommend the Apple Xchange. They are very honest, friendly, and great with anything Apple related. Since I was bringing my iPhone in for water damage repair, I figured I might as well bring my old water-damaged MacBook in too. Elmer was extremely friendly. He pulled the memory out of my MacBook and put it inside a case (making it basically an external drive) and charged me $25 - I can't believe I waited so long! Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky with my phone - Elmer replaced the screen and discovered the camera was damaged too. At that point, with Elmer's expert advice, we decided it probably wasn't worth fixing. They didn't charge anything for their time. These guys are awesome! read more
