The staff was so helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. The workout room and hot tub was great. Parking garage next door. Rates for daily parking & in/out parking. Was a bit of maneuvering with the luggage cart to/from the garage to the hotel via the elevator. They use Uber for the complementary ride to the airport. I arrived in the evening and didn't know my way around the area to find hotel parking. I called and the service staff came out to point me in the right direction - much appreciated. Speaking of parking, the only bummer is that it isn't attached to the hotel. You're parking in a city owned ramp so anyone can park there. I happened to visit during an unexpected "peak" time because the ramp was very full so that made in/out a little less convenient. Daily rate is reasonable at $6 with $10/day if you want multiple in/out access. Rooms are cozy but quite snug IMO. There isn't much moving around room between the fireplace, desk and armchair. Appreciate all these "extras" but it didn't leave much room otherwise. Small touches like luxury robes and suitcase rack were nice.

Our campsite was nice and we had a nice view of Bear Lake. The main restrooms were cleaned constantly throughout the day and were well stocked. There's a nice big playground in the middle of the campground that my niece just loved. There were a lot of families there and I get the sense that this could be a place where people just love to come; it certainly seemed that way based off how many people had seasonal sites super decked out. The cons: The sites are all identified with their numbers, but I think they could be a little more clear. Both myself and my in-laws accidently set up in the wrong sites because of the way that we were instructed to drive in; the identification markers were after where our site was. So we had to be one spot over from where we were, but we actually both accidently set up in the sites just after where we should have been. It really wasn't a big deal and clearly it was our own fault, but it could have been more clear. We were excited to maybe play on the mini-golf course, but there was a lot of debris on the greens and the grass all around it really needed to be cut. The decorations around the grounds too look like they could use some TLC. We checked out the (tiny, super tiny) sandy beach area and thought it could have been cleaned up a bit. We went down right away one morning and found garbage on the ground & random dirty beach towels where towels don't belong. Later in the afternoon when we went back down there to see what was going on we saw the same pieces of garbage and towels in the same spots. We thought surely by then someone from the staff would have come cleaned it up. We were looking forward to getting in the water and possibly renting some of the water equipment they had at the campground (which would have been so nice), but we heard from several people there was swimmers itch in the water. What a letdown! Not the campgrounds fault at all, but our experience was less than what it could have been. I think this place has potential to be really fantastic, just needs a little more TLC.

The kitchen had everything that we needed in order to prepare meals. A fire pit was available for our use as well as a BBQ. The bathrooms had quality style towels and were comfortable as far as water temperatures and water flow was perfect for a rain style shower. The beds were comfortable with more than enough blankets, sheets and pillows for our use. The owners, Kelly and Gerard were very personable and accommodating. Upon our arrival, Kelly greeted us and gave us the rundown on everything that we needed to know about the cabin and the area. Gerard was fantastic by showing us rest of the property including the barn and pond. They even allowed us access to a couple of boats for us to row around or motor in. Gerard allowed us to operate his tractor and mini bike - both of which were a real highlight to us city folks. The whole experience of staying at Cabin on the Creek was very memorable and our family would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a getaway to this area in Wisconsin.

I am a single 35 year old single man that has been struggling to get my own apartment ONLY because my credit score is less than 600. So I got on the waiting list 8 month's ago to get in here. The rent is very reasonable. $550.00 a month, cable, wi-fi, (and it actually high speed and works), water, and heat included. This is perfect for a single man or woman to save money for a while and then move on. The greatest thing is that there is no time limit that you can stay. A man has been here for 23 year's. I plan to stay for year's as well, unless a woman came into my life. I seen something about sex offender's being here, that I don't, know, NOR DO I REALLY CARE. Everyone deserves a second chance and who am I to pass judgement! We don't know the full stories. It could simply have been a 17 and 18 year old sleeping together in high school and then "BOOM", a sex offender label. So, you people that want to be quick to "judge", start looking at your own self and fix the crap you need to fix because whomever wrote that on here about sex offender's, that person probably has some real work to do within him/herself. And think about how you feel when people judge you and condemn you for mistakes you have made, DOESN'T FEEL VERY GOOD, DOES IT? I DIDN'T THINK SO!

Units are dated but clean and functional. Unit 38 does not have full kitchen only microwave coffee pot and toaster, no kitchen sink or dining table but it is lower cost than full kitchen unit. Owner Doug is good at adressing issues if you contact him. Property has a launch and covered slips that will fit a bass boat with outlets for a charger, but a 8' wide pontoon or deck boat will not fit into slips. Resort boats with motor available to rent. Fish cleaning house also on property. The only downside i found here is that property is not secure (no fences or "private property" signs, so some locals may think its a public park area) and boats have been tampered with, so secure your gas cans and rods and tackle and disable your ignition when docking overnight.
