Even as my second time here in the last 4 years I was happy to see Twist & Shout made MORE room for vinyl selections and browsing space. You still have other media too include DVDs (rare and hard to find selections), CDs, cassettes, and unique and local gifts and items. Take some time to look around here even up and down the walls. There is a really cool yellow Bruce Springsteen marquee in the sell/buy area. We spent over an hour here browsing and I walked out with two vinyl albums I had on my "Must-Have" list of analog music. Great and fair pricing on their "Used" records but to be honest all music is priced fairly. Really cool location with friendly service from the staff. If you have any questions on where things are or on the thing(s) you are looking for don't hesitate to ask! Also go over to the free publication area (at the exit) and check out all of the cool (and free) postcards from Twist & Shout along with flyers and freebies promoting any upcoming art, music shows, upcoming albums, and whatnot.

The staff is friendly and helpful to answer all of my questions. I reflected on all the cool vinyl albums that I've had in past and at Twist & Shout you can relive them & purchase them. Their selection is so vast that I believe you would find what you are looking for. I came to see if they wanted any of my old CDs. They did take some of them and I received store credit! Free parking is available in the back. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed! Who knew that they have been around since 1988 and it all began with 2 English teachers purchasing the store at an auction. I was in Littleton for Western Week and this spot had been on my list. Compared to many record stores, this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing ones you'll set foot in. Exposed brick throughout the whole shop, spacious, and good vibes all around. Punk, country, metal, hip hop, alternative, pop, you name it...there's something for everyone here. Literally. I could've picked so many records to add to my collection. I landed on Ozzy's Bark at the Moon (RIP) and Angel Olsen's Big Time. One a classic rock staple, the other a singer-songwriter triumph. My kid was long overdue for a nap, so I got the dirty look of "wrap it up, we need to go!" Otherwise, I would've spent more time in here sifting through their amazing selection. Records On Main is doing it right. They're hosting listening parties, inviting artists to perform in store, getting involved in the community, etc. I wish I lived around the corner!

The first time I went I couldn't find a certain old classic vinyl album. I asked and he went through his overstock and found it quickly. While I browsed the well organized store, I noticed a special edition of a favorite record and bought it. Recently I visited again and discovered a whole other area where the have old albums in fairly good condition for only a few dollars. Lots of fun tiny gifts or random stocking stuffers around the holidays or a music lovers birthday. I walked in on a whim and was acknowledged. Not necessarily a hearty welcome but the music being played was amazing. Looked through all the genres, record store day releases, singles, LPs and double LPs. A far selection for anyone musically. Again not as diverse as their original location but that is to be expected for a shop of this size. Grabbed a handful of records since I had a birthday gift card "burning a hole" in my electronic pocket. I had purchased from their original location as well as popups on Tennyson and have always been happy with the music selections. You could grab something off Amazon or Discogs but this is a great larger local mom and pop. Real music lovers of the physical format and not just employees running out the clock at Sam Goody. (Does that date me?) Would certainly stop back when in the area to see what is new. This location isn't super old so I know it will be filled out more in future. I didn't really have any expectations and decided to just check it out but ended up very surprised. First off, the service here is top notch. Since we walked in to when we left, the people here are the prime example of customer service. Great job guys! There are a ton of new and used puzzles, board games, records, etc here. The prices are in between a thrift store and places that only sell new stuff if that makes sense? Especially if you're looking for board games, you would really enjoy this place. There were so many here that I have never heard of before. I got a used puzzles here for $7! I look forward to coming back here and browsing around!
