While I waited for my background check to process, there were several walk-in customers; business as usual *thumbs up* I had a special order request that I placed before my birthday. The typical turn around time for a special order is 3-5 business days. Unfortunately, these are strange times and the distributors are currently way behind. I ordered 3/19 and received a call today from the owner (Dan) that my item had been received and was ready for pick-up (almost 3 weeks later). A very pleasant transaction. Excellent customer service. A fair price *no price gauging here* Like everywhere else in todays market, call ahead for ammo... I scored a single box of "self-defense" ammo that is WAY BETTER than most critical points that I found elsewhere for just about the same price as a lessor specialty box normally costs me. They have great prices and when it comes to service after the sale you can't do better. As an example; bought a new EDC Glock 43x moa. The trigger was 7 pounds at the "wall". John the manager and Glock armorer installed a three spring kit at no charge that immediately dropped it to 4 pounds and gave it a cleaner break and a nice "floor". I love it. That also helped me get the first shot on target. Great prices, excellent service, friendly folks! Please pay no attention to those reviews left by "out of towners". Makes me question why they stopped by Welburns, but I doubt that they were there to buy anything.

My wife found something she had to have last week visiting the new digs, and I did as well, and again, we received exemplary service. So just how do YOU look at value? Is it just the bottom line, or the overall service, availability in-stock, convenience, and the business relationship important factors? While we all can get fixated on bottom line prices and who has the lowest, there is also the factors of time, shipping costs, travel costs, etc that factors-in to your cost of purchasing items...and IMO, Fox excels in this matter. One may say "well you know I can get this item for $XXX somewhere else"- but did you have to drive to Medford? Gas costs money. Time is money. Shipping costs money. When you factor-in those things, you may (often) find that you didn't get so great of a deal elsewhere after all. Fox Firearms offers REAL VALUE when you purchase from them. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the service & staff, knowledge,/experience, and the local availability are all part of the bundle, and if they don't have it, they oftentimes CAN get it. I've only used them for one third-party transfer in the past because it was a hard to get, limited availability item; otherwise- I won't insult them with buying from someone else and having FOX do the transfer...(edit 11/10/25- my only caveat is that I'm talking about what they HAVE IN STOCK. So there are a ton of ways to go about getting an AR platform. You can build your own which I have…read moredone in the past, or you can buy yourself one that is ready to go out of the box. In this case I decided that I would buy what amounts to some of the finest, most precise AR-15 platforms around, Noveske. I chose the Generation III Recon. First and foremost the hardware is top of the line and most of it is made in house. The 16 inch barrel is Cold Hammer Forged Stainless Steel. The charging handle is robust and pivots side to side to assist. Unlike other AR manufacturers there is little need to replace the parts once you acquire it. Noveske rifles use the Keymod system and there are plenty of accessories for you to Tacticool you rifle to your hearts content. The Keymod system is way better than the old MIL-STD-1913 and you can get adapters if you need to go back and forth I am at best an average marksman. But this rifle makes me way better than I deserve to be. It is for me easily accurate out to 200 yards and Ive seen people at the range getting consistent targeting at even longer distances. He charged me $10.00 just to pick my guns up even though he hadn't laid a finger on them. Much better customer service and gunsmithing with local competitors. I will NEVER go back to Russco Guns.

They have well known high-end quality brands, that can be quite expensive, so be prepared to pay the price. The store itself is ridiculously huge and enticing... you could spend quite a long time here if you didn't have a specific target and/or budget in mind! The employees were productive and helpful when looking for specific items. When I was ready to purchase my items, Joshua was friendly and courteous. We spent almost $140 on my son's soccer uniform only to receive his uniform half-way through the…read moreseason. When we did receive the uniform, the shorts were not what was ordered and the quality of the shirt was not good. The lettering started to come off and the color of the shirt was starting to run (despite following the care instructions). My wife emailed the owner and no response. My wife emailed a second time and the owner finally called her. I called the owner back and asked for half of the money back, since the uniforms were three weeks late, the poor quality of the uniform, and the wrong shorts being sent. The owner told me that she would be losing money, but reluctantly agreed to send a check for half the money, which she NEVER did. I had to file a claim with my credit card company. Instead they sent the correct shorts after the season ended. There is no accountability with the The Soccer Post and they passed the blame onto others. Please consider using a different vendor when it comes to getting quality uniforms in a timely manner and one that does not make excuses.
