This place is amazing!!  I was in a crunch to have some last minute business cards made for a portfolio show that was happening in less than two weeks. Phil the owner, put together the most beautiful cards I have ever seen. They were glossy double sided with six food photos cascading down one side, which I'm sure was a challenge to make sure they were clear, and big enough to see. The front of the card was absolutely gorgeous, with colorful butterfly pasta and Phil used his artsy talents to personalize the wording, by putting a little butterfly over the "i" . When Phil printed out a sample, I had an OMG!! moment for sure. I ordered 500 business cards and an extra 250 postcard size for presentation, which to my surprise was less than $100.00. The cards were ready ahead of schedule!  When I arrived to pick them up, I was floored at how beautiful they came out and to my surprise, Phil threw in an extra 500 cards as a graduation gift!!   I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am to The Art Department. It was a pleasure doing business with Phil. He has wonderful ideas and creativity that will knock your socks off!! I created a design for our Family Reunion online using another online company's website, with specific lettering, graphics and special requests. but their pricing was high. I searched locally in the Southbay area and found several T-shirt printers online. Sent emails out and Phil responded. Sent him my designs and corresponded several times trying to finalize the design with family. It took several weeks before I got back to Phil. Finally made the order for 66 T-shirts with 5 different colors, and different names on the front. The darker shirts with white lettering instead of black. Discussing things with Phil on options for other shirt colors just in case. 10 days the order was ready and Phil even corresponded with me while he was on vacation insuring that no mistakes were made in the sizes and spelling. We printed our team t-shirt here and it was a nightmare! Items that was show on their online website, they can't seem to locate the items or figure out which is which. In one case, the Art Department went ahead and made an executive decision and printed on the wrong items without consulting us. The order was placed, weeks have passed; multiple emails and phone calls to the store and no response! A month and a half later, finally got a hold of someone and they said, "Oh, yea, your order has been ready for a few weeks". So how come no one called to notified us? We have emailed, we have called and left voicemail, how are we suppose to find out an order is ready to pick up? Even though prices is slightly lower here, but the amount of trouble we went through to finalize the items were not worth the time. There is something broken with their process. read more

I contacted The Art Department for a simple quote on t-shirts for my baseball team. They were quick to respond to my email, but turned out to be very unhelpful. We wanted black ringer t's with a red trim, and they told me this type of shirt doesn't exist. I responded letting him know that our next choice was black-on-black ringer t's. I found a style that Gildan made that I liked, and they carry that brand, so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. He responded telling me that I'm basically asking for a black t-shirt, and I let him know that we were specifically looking for ringer t's. He responded by letting me know that he couldn't help me.
