Cute bake shop with fancy pastries and desserts. The inside decor is really appealing from the walls to the ceiling. The staff is friendly and helpful. I tried the Texas Brisket croissant and lemon blueberry croissant. I was so eager to try them I forgot to take pictures of them. I really enjoyed both of them. I'm more of a savory foodie than sweet, so the brisket croissant I loved. The lemon blueberry one was good because it wasn't too sweet.

Finally made it!! The time on Google is incorrect they open at 8am. I met Evelyn, who was extremely sweet and cute. My baby girl is on a Matcha kick lately so of course she tried it from here. The shop has a small variety of different pastries to choose from. The gold flakes on the crème brûlée was appealing and we had to get that too! I tried to caramel macchiato because there isn't much of a selection and it wasn't a favorite. We were the only two in there so it was quick, super friendly service.

Wow , beautiful and just delicious baked goods . The mango thing is soo good , same with their croissants.. everything is huge portions for 2-3 people to share. Parking is not terrible but I can see how it would get busy

I ordered a lemon and blueberry croissant for delivery through Postmates so I can't speak for customer service from the staff or the ambiance. My ordered arrived quickly in an elegantly packaged and sturdy box with handles. I can see this working if ordering as a gift as well. The croissant was tasty, flaky, light with just the right amount of sweetness. The tartness of the lemon and blueberries worked quite well to elevate and give the pastry nice fresh notes. Will definitely order other items to try!

This was delicious! It's a small spot downtown, but you'll find meter parking and some lot and garage parking within a 5 minute walk. It is right by Chase Field. There's one small table inside and some outdoor patio seating. The smell will hit you in the best way when you enter. This is an artisan bakery and cafe, with pastries made fresh daily. This means that they don't always have every selection on hand every day. But don't you worry! Whatever they have will be worth it! I got the spicy ham and cheese croissant and my friend got the raspberry cream cheese croissant. Both were so favorable and honestly beautiful. I got a yuzu hibiscus iced tea and my friend got the tiramisu iced coffee. We were in heaven. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I'll try to stop in next time I'm downtown!

I stopped by The Art of Baking while visiting Arizona, and it was such a pleasant experience. The gentleman who greeted us--who I'm pretty sure was the owner--was incredibly warm and welcoming. The shop itself is a small, charming bakery tucked near Chase Field. I tried both the lemon and mango desserts. The lemon was my favorite: bright flavor, a great balance of sweet and tart, and even without a crunchy exterior, it was still delicious. As for the mango, I've tried just about every viral mango dessert in Los Angeles, and TAoB's version really stands on its own. It comes on a long cookie base and is the only glossy-style mango dessert I've had. If you love mango, this one delivers--intense mango flavor with small chunks inside, no cake layer, just mousse and fruit, which I personally prefer. It's not crunchy, but that didn't take away from the experience. I had ordered other viral fruit desserts from local home bakers in Arizona, but I specifically waited for The Art of Baking to release their mango--and it was absolutely worth it.

Great location right next to Chase Field! Clean atmosphere with that sweet smell of goodies to EAT! The staff were friendly and served with a smile!

had my eye on this place since seeing other reviews on tiktok and finally got to go yesterday! We were welcomed in, the employees were very sweet and friendly. Ambiance is gorgeous and their displays looked so good! I was sad I couldn't get what I wanted but I did come an hour before close so I knew selling out was a possibility. I got the lemon cheesecake dessert instead while my husband got the salted caramel croissant. We both loved our desserts! Complex flavors, delicious, light and airy. Will definitely be coming back again to try the mango and pistachio desserts!

These mango and lemon bites were sooo good. The mango jelly was very tasty but my favorite was the lemon. I cant wait until im in the are again to get more.

ANOTHER ONE! A vanilla match and a au chocolat croissant. DELICIOUS! Custom matcha, cold with vanilla syrup, almond milk. I'm in love! The crunch of the croissant butter shell, the fluffy, light, and most inside. The service, PERFECT, PATIENT, and HELPFUL. The interior touches are nice, a little Parisian, upscale bakery ambiance. I just love this place!

Butter chicken croissant was very flavorful but filling was sparse. Service was awesome, small space with no restroom, parking is tricky if there is an event which it seems like there always is. I might try again if I am in the area on foot but would not go out of my way and wrestle with parking. Some folks don't mind parking issues but that's just a me thing, I like easy peasy driving/parking.

Pastries absolutely delicious! It was also my grad day and he was so nice, he gave me a free pastry :) Service was amazing and the space was clean as well. I recommend!!!

The most unique bakery in Phoenix by a landslide. The Art Of Baking offers a variety of pastries from a butter croissant to lemon cheesecake that's shaped like a lemon. They also have coffee. Everything I had was delicious!

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Now, there is even a second Lola Coffee location in Arcadia near 40th Street and Indian School. Today, they serve coffee, pastries, and breakfast. The Downtown Phoenix location hours are weekdays from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can see their menu, history, photos, and more on their website (https://lolacoffeebarphx.com). It just tasted like harsh, strong tea, one of the other girls in the group went back up they had to remake her coffee. They said that there was a new employee working there and they were sorry. Which is totally understandable, but at the same time I think each one of us had an uncertain experience with flavor of our drinks where it was like either the coffee was too strong. The tea was too strong unflavored for mine. So the mango black tea is unsweet and normally I love unsweet tea. That's all I get, but this tea just did not do it for me. I give it a four star because of the cleanliness and the workers are sweet and I love the environment, but the product itself I was not impressed with.
