The team here is amazing! My parents are moving to Rocklin at the end of this month from the Bay Area, and needed a place to keep their two classic cars (aka their REAL babies). At first, my father asked if he could keep his car in my garage. Although that would have been 'A' solution for one of the vehicles, it was not 'THE' solution... that is when I took to Yelp to find the answer!!! Auto Vault was literally the first and last company I called. The fact that the company is owned and managed by legitimate car people really sold the location to my family and I. The facility is clean, temperature controlled and secure. The pricing for a month's 'lodging' for both cars is very reasonable! In addition, the team is beyond helpful, polite, and they have a few Frenchies (the way to MY heart!). I cannot speak to the other services that Auto Vault offers, but I would not hesitate to bring my personal vehicle in for a tint, etc. A+ all the way! read more

Corrupt/scam company, stay far far away!! Over $3k later, no progress on anything & extremely unresponsive. So far, 3 months of nothing but a headache. Got two of my cars tinted there, tint came out great! When I had an issue with a small dirt trapped in the tiny they replaced it no questions asked! Look forward to doing more business there soon. I had sold my vehicle through The Auto Vault and I didn't even have my pink slip/deed/ownership documentation for my vehicle. The owner (Dena) advised me to visit the local UPS store for a notary, and for a small price I was able to obtain legal documentation to hand over the ownership of my vehicle to the buyers. The selling experience was very easy, Dena had asked me how much I was looking to get for my vehicle, in comparison with other vehicles like mine on the market, and she made it happen. There were also some cosmetic problems with my vehicle, Dena had communicated with me very well and gave me options as to what actions I would like to take so that the vehicle would be in better presentation for selling. The Auto Vault had also cleaned up my vehicle, even though I thought I had done a pretty good job. it looked as good as it did when i had taken it off of the showroom floor from the dealership. The Auto Vault is a great place for the car enthusiast. Plenty of cars to look at, and they offer plenty of services for your vehicle if you're looking to make your vehicle a little more unique. I'm a driver for a limousine company who stores 1 stretch vehicle here. They have listed 9am-6pm as business hours but I'm here on Thursday Valentine's Day and we are going on 10am but nobody has yet to arrive. This vehicle was scheduled later today for a job but had to get detailed, gas and you never rush such lengthy car. I came early in hopes to get an early start but the only person able to open the shop has errands to run before running his business. Wanted to make sure of an additional charge but it will be at least an hour before he shows. I don't have any hopes and had to cancel today's job. I don't understand how the owner can run a business like. My suggestion, state "by appointments only in the AM" on the door or hire more help! We'll have to finish our services as it has been so much hassle and mostly cost us business. I'm glad only 1 vehicle was stored here but do not recommend to anyone. read more

BUYER BEWARE. We found a vehicle being sold by The Auto Vault on Craigslist, and visited them shortly after to view it. The staff at The Auto Vault were friendly, and they showed us a great selection of high-end BMW stock. The vehicle had recently been detailed, and they assured us their team of mechanics had inspected it thoroughly for problems. We asked about issues within the electrical system and air conditioner, as both components are known to have problems on this model vehicle (2010 BMW 335xi); The Auto Vault assured us that their inspection had found no issues, and we made the purchase without further inspection. Upon purchasing the vehicle we found that it had no floor mats (they weren't being detailed), only one key, and that the luxury package they claimed it had did not exist. None of which had been explained to us, and some of which we had been mislead to believe. Within a week of purchase the on board computer began to shut off intermittently during driving, so we decided to take it to a mechanic to diagnose the problem. The mechanic explained to us that their was significant rust on the underside of the vehicle and that some of the wiring had corroded through; none of which had been mentioned by The Auto Vault. We spoke with them again, and while things remained friendly, continued to believe their guarantees about the vehicle's state. Some months later (3) the air conditioner stopped working. It was at this point that we asked our mechanic to make a more detailed inspection, and to test the various electrical modules. The mechanic found significant electrical problems throughout all modules of the vehicle (including safety features), and determined that the air conditioner's evaporator had a leak which had been refilled before sale. The mechanic assured us that the issues he found pre-dated the purchase of our vehicle, and that any qualified mechanic would have uncovered them upon inspection. It was at this point that The Auto Vault stopped responding to our communications, and we had to pursue the issue through the Better Business Bureau (complaint: https://www.bbb.org/sacramento/business-reviews/auto-dealers-used-cars/the-auto-vault-in-w-sacramento-ca-90035293/complaints). The Better Business Bureau moderated communication between us and The Auto Vault, but ultimately found that they had fulfilled the requirements of the contract we had signed. They mentioned that cases of this type are typical, but that they are not a legislative body, and so were unable to pursue a fraud case against them. The Better Business Bureau also recommended that we pursue the issue with the DMV body responsible for licensing dealers, and in small claims court. I would recommend for anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from The Auto Vault that they find a more reputable dealer better able to guarantee their products. It was a mistake to trust The Auto Vault, and a bigger one to sign a contract an As-Is contract with them. BUYER BEWARE read more

Just had my car detailed here through several recommendations and I am beyond happy that I finally did it! I dropped off my car and they gave me a ride to work while my car was literally transforming into a new car again. I couldn't believe it when I returned formpick up. It looked and smelled brand new. The leather seats were cleaned and conditioned. They buffed out scratches and removed stains from my kids juices on the ceiling of the car. It was like I picked it up brand new from the dealership.
