The shop is fairly small but has a great selection of vintage style dresses, shirts and tops. I loved that most of the items went up to 2x but a few items went up to 3x. The woman manning the store was super friendly and helpful. She shared that she actually makes the children's clothing sold in the store and was sitting there sewing before I walked in! The children's clothing had a ton of fun character patterns (mickey, star wars, etc.) They also had a fun selection of vintage inspired jewelry and sunglasses. I ended up purchasing a circle skirt dress for $55. It isn't lined but still appears to be if great quality. The styles were comparable to what you might find on modcloth, but about 20% cheaper. I will definitely be back!

Lots of candle, soap, and lotion options! Theres so many random things to name but all cute. To note, there is specifically a cute little pet section and baby section in the back! They have a wall of the cutest greeting cards. There's also cute dainty jewelry. There's also some La Mesa merch that I promised myself I would buy if my dream of owning a house in La Mesa ever comes true! Great times with great value, the pricing was very reasonable for everything! I was also immediately greeted by the cashier Darav. She was so sweet and I enjoyed our conversation. I was a mess, recovering from a cesarean, had just spent 78 days in antepartum, had a baby in the NICU, hormonal, etc so just needed the process to go smoothly. And that it did! I called over and was assured that there were plenty of pumps in stock. When I arrived, the clerk greeted me right away. I asked about insurance, etc. and got everything squared away as far as payments. She let me vent to her a little about the day I was having and displayed so much empathy. She then carried the pump out to the car for me since I couldn't lift due to my c-section. When I called later to ask for more information for my insurance, she gave me very clear instructions on who I could call to get the information I needed. It was such a seamless process and I'm so happy to have gotten my pump in a timely manner.

The parking was easy (free if they validate). The store was small, but had all the essentials and the service was amazing. They offered some great advice about my pump and even looked over the other features to make sure all was in tip top shape! While I was looking around there was a new mother, in her hospital gown, being helped with finding a nursing bra. How cool is that! She just had a baby, her milk had come in, and she didn't have to change out of her hospital gown or leave the hospital to find a nursing bra. That's amazing service! Why every hospital doesn't offer this is beyond me! The sales ladies are so sweet and so helpful. This place is wonderful!

My first impression walking up to shop, it's going to be filled with all kinds of goodies. The reality exceeded my expectations. I did give myself a budget before I walked in of $100. I headed to the back to find the Oracle deck cards. She had a decorative table in the back displaying her gorgeous Oracle deck cards. There were little refreshments and amazing cookies to celebrate the occasion. After learning more about Oracle deck cards, I decided to shuffle and pull two cards. They were exactly on point. I became emotional and decided to explore the rest of the store. I realized I did give myself a big enough budget. It truly was a gift givers paradise: stones, teas, essential oils, aromatherapy, skincare, books, socks, stickers, cards, plushies, jewelry, etc. I ended up only purchasing two sets of Oracle Deck cards, but I already bookmarked this shop to return for future gift shopping. I was…read morequietly on my phone while browsing and got snapped at me, demanding I end my call before they would help me. when I asked why, the manager told me being on my phone in a store is "rude"... Zero customer service skills between the two of them. I would rather spend my money where I am respected. On top of the attitude, the place is musty and damp the moment you walk in, which makes you question the condition of what they're actually selling. Plenty of other thrift stores nearby that treat customers like human beings -- go there instead. I won't be back.
