My boyfriend and I came here before a backpacking trip to fuel up and were craving some classic deli sandwiches . I got club and my boyfriend got the Dagwood. By far the most fresh tasting and meat packed sandwiches I've had from a small town. What is happening with this place?? Great reviews, but then sort it by date and its all one stars-- which I wish we had done before going. It looked closed, but it was open. And empty. No customers. Looks a little rundown on the outside, but then they keep it clean on the inside. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of mixed reviews. We didn't like the sandwiches, but the homemade pies are amazing. The bagels were decent. Salads are also good. read more

Not a great experience. The workers were slow, not very cordial, and I had to tell the woman multiple times my order. A dozen bagels was $26.00. This is more than Bruegger's Bagels charges. For a small business in this economy I get it, I can deal with that. But the real problem here is the bagel quality. The bagels were just terrible. They tasted like they took Chompie's bagels and just dumped ingredients on top of them. They were stale, overpriced, and just lazy. If you plan to run a bagel shop, make them the right way. You cant just dump a bunch of Onion bits on a plain bagel and call it an Onion bagel. I just don't recommend this place, or if you do go, skip the bagels. read more

We came for our usual bagel. But this time we were handed menus and asked to take a seat. Unfortunately there was only ONE bagel sandwich on the menu and it wasn't what we wanted. When we pointed out there weren't bagels on the menu, the server said they were on the other side. They weren't. So we went back to the counter and ordered a bagel with salmon & schmear. Crazy thing is that the counter has 10 bins capable of holding at least 100 bagels, but at 8AM on a Saturday I think there were less than 20, with a number of bins completely empty. Fortunately the bagel/salmon sandwich was tasty as usual. Unfortunately, this place is a dump. The weeds outside are everywhere with some being waist high. The restaurant's sign, nothing more than a printed banner, is halfway hanging down to the point it's not readable. That kind of attention to appearance makes me shudder if they approach food handling the same way. read more

Great coffee. Great food selection. The Cali with Everything Bagel (no sliced cheese) may be one of the best bites on the mountain. Light, airy, pleasantly chewy and full of flavor with super fresh veggies. Very clean set up inside and very friendly service throughout. read more

Pretty cool little place for a quick breakfast or to grab something on the go. I ordered a sausage/egg/cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and thought it was darn good. My husband got a green chili cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese and a sausage breakfast burrito. He liked the bagel but not the burrito; took about two bites and threw it away. He said it had some weird seasoning or spice that didn't taste right. The gal who took our order was kind of chilly; maybe just enduring a bad day. We all have 'em. It took awhile for the food after we ordered, so we went around to the back patio area with our pups (as far from the only occupied table as we could get). The picnic tables that were open were surrounded by landscape volcanic rock, which was ouchy for the dogs. Ended up just having to wait in the running truck, which was kind of a bummer since we were trying to enjoy being outside as much as possible before going back to 117° in the valley. The service was absolutely terrible. They were incredibly rude and had no smile on their face. I had asked the girl for creamer at least five times she said she'd go and get it and never did. We packed up and left, went to Einstein instead which was great by the way. Don't ever come here. The bathrooms are disgusting and the seats are covered with filth and grime. We go here every time we visit Pinetop or Show Low. They are fantastic. The bagels and cream cheese are delicious and the staff are so kind.

The food is out of this world, exceptional for the price range. The staff is more than accommodatable and friendly, even during their extremely busy times they seemed to wanna help their staff. They let them know. We'll be right with you. They're always in communication with them, letting the customer know Where their order is, where you know they're sitting on the chain of availability and recommending things when customers say this is what I'm looking for the staff is very knowledgeable on the food there it's just a wonderful atmosphere altogether. I love it that it's a small town owner and the owners give back to their community endlessly. We went there for our first sitdown meal and we're brought a half a dozen bagels because it was the end of the day and they said they throw them out anyways so we're welcome to take them home for a charge. The food is made fresh as you order, excellent baked goods but some of the things such as Bagels sell out quickly so get there early. Prompt service, cares about you getting a good meal in a timely manner. Very relaxed atmosphere, glad for the padded seats. read more

I got the Inside-Out breakfast sandwich and was blown away. The bagel was delicious and the toppings were hot and tasty. My friend got a cinnamon bagel with cream cheese and said it was also delicious. Sanchez at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We got there around 8 and we're the only ones but when we left there was a small crowd waiting to order. The interior is a little rough around the edges but the food and service made up for it! We got a Lox bagel on an everything bagel with regular cream cheese. Bagel was delicious the lettuce was on it was different, so I'll have to order without. All the bagels looked delicious will definitely be back to try more and their sandwiches. Last night while waiting to check out at Walmart. I noticed the owner buying bundles and bundles of value bagels and a toaster oven. There were so many it seemed like store product. I was quite shocked. Even if you sell out of things quickly, everything should be freshly baked. Very questionable standards here. read more

The customer service here is great, we placed a pickup order and after getting home noticed one of our items was missing. I called The Bagel Box and they remembered our order right away and explained the box was a smaller one and asked us to check our car, sure enough the small box had fallen out of the bag and into our car. The Bagel Box even called us back to ensure we had the item and offered to remake it quickly if it was still missing. The food itself was good, I got a chicken bagel sandwich. The chicken and toppings kept sliding off the bagel but it was easy enough to put back on when eating. The bagel alone was amazing and tasted great. read more

Stopped here upon recommendation. I was immediately greeted when I walked in the door. Had vegetarian sandwich on rosemary parmesan bagel. Delish. Really enjoyed this little local shop. You can get breakfast or lunch all day long which is great for those who aren't big on breakfast.
