Stopped in here to get a little sweet treat to hold us over until lunch... oh man! What a find! We just got a couple of small pieces of pistachio baklava and sat outside at one of their cute tables (they have indoor tables too) to enjoy it. Mind-blowingly fabulous! The taste and texture make this -- hands down -- the best baklava we've ever had! A thoughtful touch was the addition of a little hand wipe -- as the delicious honey does get your fingers a little sticky. Cannot wait to go back and try another flavor of baklava. read more

I did purchase a container of ground Turkish coffee. I was charged sales tax at the rate of 7.5%. Coffee in FL is considered a food item when unprepared. What a gem to find in Key West. We were being tourists and this place caught my eye coming out of the Key Lime Pie Bakery. Macaroon was delicious, but the Turkish ice cream has a weird sticky texture like taffy that we weren't expecting. Bought baklava in this place. Spent 200$ for it and after 6-8 hours of eating their baklava got food poisoning as well as other three members of my family. We came from Miami, bought baklava on December 31, 2023, and poisoned by it after 6-8 hours later. Symptoms were: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, temperature of 100.4F (38C), and muscle cramps due to dehydration. If you bought baklava in this store on December 31, 2023, please, throw it in the trash. I went to Urgent Care on January 2nd to get some help in Miami. All of us ate their baklava and after 6-8 hours we got food poisoning. I truly hate to give this superb authentic Turkish shop the rating it deserves. I want to keep it a secret and all to myself. On our last trip to Key West this was truly the highlight of our trip authentic baklava as I have never seen before with different variations and styles.
