We ordered delivery and the experience left a lot to be desired. The food was left on the porch but the text came in about 30 min after we found it. In fairness that could have been a network problem. So everything was cold. There was no excuse for the food prep though. I ordered the 'cold' sandwich, turkey and stuffing. They toasted the bread, but not just toasted it was solidly burnt. No stuffing, no cranberry as the sandwich was advertised. It was terrible. My husband got the Greek salad w lamb. The lamb was so tough it was inedible. It was also super greasy. The mozzarella sticks tasted like they were fried in 10 day old grease that fried everything, even had notes of fish. I went to Kennedy cafe on a whim tonight because my partner and I wanted to try something new. I ordered the falafel wrap and my partner ordered the chicken Shawarma. We split the wraps in half and shared, they were both good but the chicken Shawarma was better! I will say the chicken was a little fatty though. We decided to order 2 baklavas to go, unfortunately, which is my fault ...I didn't check the price of the baklava and they are eight dollars each!!! The baklava are pretty big for one portion, so I now understand the price, however, the baklava was incredibly soggy and didn't have the best flavor. I stopped by for lunch one Saturday and walked in to a kind of dark restaurant with only a few patrons sitting and eating. The restaurant wasn't very attractive so I decided to take my order to go. I ordered the falafel platter not really knowing what it would come with. After a normal wait time my order was ready and I was out the door! I opened my takeout box in the car and was so excited! The falafel came with rice, a pico salsa, seasoned potatoes, tzatziki and pita bread. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed this meal and will certainly be back. read more

We arrived and the place was almost empty. In a matter of 15 minutes was packed. Great place for simple comfort food and good prices for Key West. Our server, Carolina, who was wearing many hats that evening, was fantastic. Very energetic, as she was the only one serving the multitude of people, with great disposition, very simpatica and helpful. We shared Uzbek Pilaf and salad. I was extremely surprised to see the Palov on the menu. The only time I had this delicious dish was when my friend Jenya, who is Russian, made it. It was really good, it could use garlic cloves. We arrived into Key West mid afternoon, so we stopped by here for a late lunch. It's a local place in a small strip mall not far from where we were staying. Friendly greetings as we entered, sit wherever you want. Menu is large from Italian American to Greek/Mediterranean. We kept it pretty basic, got the regular gyro and the chicken gyro with fries. Even though its listed separately on the menu, they advised there's no difference in the chicken gyro and the chicken donor. It mainly applies to the lamb meat. You're welcome. Food came out quickly with a smile, nice looking honker of a gyro & fries. Was pretty tasty, lots of meat, plenty of filling, delicious tzatziki and darn good fries. Great lunch! Came to Key West and staying at a resort located on Stock Island. Since the resort doesn't really do "room service", this restaurant was recommended because they will deliver to the hotel/your room. The front desk team spoke very highly of the quality of the food so we decided to give them a try. First of all, the menu is significant with choices for pretty much anyone. Fried options, healthy options, Greek and Italian options, standard type fare as well. We decided to start with the chicken fingers and the side of meatballs, and then got a Chicken salad sandwich with fries, and a Garlic and Oil Pasta which came with a beautiful little side salad. The chicken fingers had really great flavor and the batter was tasty and the chicken was a very good quality white meat. Two of our pieces had a nice crunch and two could have used a bit more frying time. The meatballs came with two baseball sized meatballs with some sauce. SOOOO good! Some of the best meatballs I have had in a long time and their marinara sauce is Fantastic! Might need to try some of their Italian pasta with red sauce next! The Chicken Salad sandwich was OK but was missing flavor. It came with lettuce, tomato and onion which helped but needed some flavor. The fries were nice and crunchy though even with delivery. The same issue with the Garlic and Oil Pasta which needed more flavor...particularly salt. You could taste the garlic but was missing that overall flavor needed to make it really terrific. To top off our meal we did get the Limoncello cake which was SOOO yummy!!! So overall we will absolutely order again and have heard that their Greek gyro is fantastic so will likely need to give that a try next time! read more

This little cafe was recommended to us by our jet ski tour guide across the street at Ibis Bay! Great locals joint if you are not in it for the foo foo stuff and just want some good food. Came here for breakfast after catching the red eye to Fort Lauderdale and landed at 2am and just rented a car and drove to Key West. After sleeping in the car for a couple hours we wanted a big breakfast to start ourselves off. This restaurant had great food, big portions, and the prices were very reasonable. The location is a little hidden in a strip mall right on the end. Just your simple diner that has a little bit of everything. Service was also great. read more

As a resident of Key west, I eat at Kennedy cafe at least monthly. Why? Prices are amazing for such an expensive tourist town, you can get a really good, no-frills, delicious meal at Kennedy cafe for half the price of anything in the touristy downtown area. My favorite is the eggplant with baked feta on top. So good! Also the Lamb gyro platter is amazing! They have my favorite lamb, rice, and tzatziki sauce, compared to other Greek restaurants around. Oh, and their lamb gyro pizza is amazing!!! Also The lasagne is really damn good. Not a fan of their meatballs or meatloaf though. Hummus, grape leaves, combo platter, all good! Don't be scared from the outside it looks dingy in a dark strip mall parking lot, but it's a locals favorite for many reasons. read more
