I had such a great experience having dinner here today! The outdoor seating was so cute and relaxing. There were nice lights on the trees and fans to ensure it didn't feel muggy which I appreciated. The food was so fresh and tasty. I had the hummus and fried beef dumplings for apps and I got the eggplant salad with added lamb. everything was delicious but my favs were the eggplant salad and hummus. My friend had the chicken doner which was also good. Our servers were very pleasant as well. The menu also included some Asian and Uzbek dishes which I was so happy to see! read more

The only thing to not like about this restaurant is that it isn't one block from my home in a different state. The fact I, who am just traveling through, might never have a meal here again does nothing but upset me. The lamb somsa in presentation belongs on a poster whose sole purpose is to make your mouth water. The pastry was so evenly cooked, that the browning was something out of a sunset. I have been to hundreds of restaurants just like this, but not a single one of them could nail such a simple dish with this much ease and care. I weep at the fact I might never have one again. Still, life is to be lived, not remembered. The staff was friendly and welcome conversation, and recommended well. The ambiance is just what it should be. Welcome to Key West. Come here. This is my wife's favorite restaurant, on the island, for eggplant. We ate inside, but most of the seating is outside under a nice canopy of trees. There was another couple with us so there was lamb skewers, seafood pasta, my gyro and my wife's eggplant. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The service was very good. We even got a partial ingredient list for their secret sauce for their eggplant. Looking forward to a return visit soon. read more

Came here with my bf on a Sunday afternoon. We had never been and the place wasn't busy. We sat inside and our server was attentive. The restaurant itself looked a little dated/run down inside. The chair cushions were torn and the menus we got were dirty. To eat we ordered the Khachapuri, the Traditional Greek Salad, and then the Falafel App. All of the appetizers were very good. I was walking around Key West in the heat and this place genuinely is an oasis! I got to sit in the shade next to a fan and it really saved me. I ordered two apps, the hummus and the calamari. The hummus was really solid but the bread they serve with it was SO good. I'm not sure what kind of traditional bread it was but it was the perfect hummus vehicle. The calamari was also amazing! I have not had good calamari in years but this was the perfect chewy texture without being hard to eat. So light and crisp! After a full weekend in Key West, we came here after sunset at Mallory Square for our last night! We were surprised with the dining outside, it was nicely set up and it wasn't hot with the fans around the area. In the early evening they seated everyone tables apart so you could enjoy the ambiance, private dining. Unfortunately, before our food arrived there was a loud female with her friend on their phones on speaker playing obnoxious sounding music videos then a personal photo call, the entire restaurant could hear her conversation. We couldn't hear each other over their phones. Thank goodness her food arrived and kept Her busy! Wished they brought it to her attention on how disrespectful she was to the rest of the diners out for a rare kidless evening out! We shared everything we ordered the Artichoke Francaise was good and I could eat artichokes all day long! The batter was just slightly different than the Italian version and good. We questioned about and ordered the Khachapuri, it was amazing!! We never had it before but will from now on! Also, the Falafel sandwich was amazing!! Well we were recommended by one of the shops we got t-shirts from. I looked at the menu online and yelp it looked good .It took us 20 minutes to drive from where we were a for it to be closed even though online it says open 7 days a week until 10 pm . We got there by 9 pm on Thursday. We called the number guys said we are close today, we'll be open tomorrow .first of all why do you have it posted open 7 days a week if you are not open on certain days, secondly er don't live here we are visiting we can't just go back and show up again whenever you are open. A top place in keywest for a meal. We were there in 25th December and they were open and so happy to host us. They found spot for us instantly and we were greeted with a happy soul. Being on a tiny island you don't find much Mediterranean food. But lucky enough we have Oasis which brings you some great food and ambiance. We ordered the eggplant roll, chicken shawarma with fries, lamb shawarma with fries, and homemade bread. Favorite was the eggplant roll. Their fries were amazing. The staff were very friendly and visited our table the perfect amount. They brought a bottle of water so we never ran out. They explained all the different kinds of sandwiches so we knew what we were ordering. We will be going back here for sure and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. read more

Whoever is in the kitchen is preparing delicious, flavorful food with heart. The salads never disappoint. The ingredients of all their meals are always fresh. My sister just celebrated her birthday at Oasis and the restaurant was able to serve 40 people comfortably. At our hotel when watching where to eat in Key West on their 'about key west' reels, we saw The Oasis and made a note to go there at one point. We ended up going there for our last lunch on the last day of our vacation. Our high hopes of really great authentic Mediterranean food were shot down. We ordered the Mediterranean Salad which mostly had tomatoes and no feta cheese, the falafel sampler, and a pepperoni pizza. Being from the Mediterranean ourselves, we know falafel. We know humus. We know grape leaves and pita. The falafel was faint in color inside so the mixture was definitely not freshly made. It tasted bla! (Best described). The grape leaves were mooshy, clearly over warmed and oldish. And the humus did not seem authentic at all. The pepperoni pizza was horrible. Although we ate it out of being hungry and going back on the boat home (a few hours of a ride) it was doughyyyyy and tasted like something you would thrown in the oven from a frozen box. After eating the pizza at Onkywood Grill, this pizza was a major let down. So our last lunch was not great. But I'm giving them 3 stars because the server was friendly and the outside sitting was beautiful. Lots of chickens running around for entertainment too. Perhaps the other menu items are more up to par. But did not have time to try other things. read more

We stopped into Oasis for a late dinner. The outdoor patio was cute with plenty of fans to keep us cool and geckos and roosters running back & forth. The staff was very friendly and we had no problems with them, however when we asked about the fried potato with mushrooms and onion appetizer my wife SPECIFICALLY ASKED "are these potato chips?" because she didn't want potato chips. We would have ordered the domas. Our server said "No, they're fried potatos." so we ordered it. Our server delivered a very tasty piece of bread about the size of a large bagel without the hole. It was slightly toasted and warm. It has some seasoning and sesame seeds sprinkled on it. It was cut into 6 slices and we ate 4 waiting for the appetizer. Well, a small bags worth of potato chips arrived with 1/4 of a small onion and 2 mushrooms sautéed and sprinkled on top. About 75 cents of ingredients for $12.99. Not the appetizer we were hoping to get. Pan-fried potato cubes with onions and mushrooms tossed with it would have been better. Neither potato, onions or button mushrooms are that expensive to have such a small appetizer cost 13 dollars. Then the main dish arrived. We ordered the Veggie Pasta Delight. It was thin spaghetti with roasted bell peppers, broccoli, zucchini, onions and a few black olives in a thin red sauce. The roasting on the vegetables was perfect and the sauce had a wonderful flavor! We liked the sauce so much that we asked for a second little round of bread so we could dip in the sauce because it wouldn't stick to the spaghetti. The problem with the main course is that we got 60 cents worth of pasta and 3 pieces of 4 different grilled vegetables. Not quite the value for $21.99. That's right, $21.99!! Oh, they also charged us $4 for the second bagel sized bread. Our total bill was $41.90 for one appetizer and one main... without any meat, fish or cheese!!! Honestly, the value simply isn't there. I found this place on my map app while searching for a restaurant away from the main tourist area. My wife and I love Mediterranean food, so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, we discovered a beautiful outdoor dining area surrounded by lovely shade trees. We were served by a woman who was so kind and welcoming; her hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the food arrived! Oh, I don't know. ...but what I do know is not only are they excellent in every possible way, they're also something completely refreshingly different in a foodie food sort of way. Adventurous Mediterranean/Eastern European fare here. Beyond all that then, lovely, doting hospitality. Reasonable pricing. And delicious foods. Love, love, love them. Was also fun fun, all the live entertainment. There was this most curious curly tail lizard that sort of befriended us, along with a friendly hen, and we even had an iguana climb the tree over the table for all to see. I stopped by here this past Thursday as part of a party of 6 for dinner. We were looking for something a little different to eat whenever we found Oasis. It's located on Key West but is far enough away from the hustle of Duval Street that it has a number of free parking spots for guests. They have both an indoor seating area as well as an outdoor one and we were seated at an outdoor 6-top. Our waitress helped to make sure we were comfortable by turning one of the large fans they had towards our party. The outside of Oasis was nice with an elevated table and cushions to do hookah as well as plenty of regular tables, a bar and string lights as well. For dinner on this evening I decided on the falafel platter while my wife went with the eggplant salad and added lamb. My meal consisted of 5 falafel balls that were served with grilled veggies, rice, pita and tzatziki. I enjoyed it as the falafel balls were fried nicely and had a good number of spices in them. The tzatziki added a nice freshness to them while the rice and pita added some carbs. I also really enjoyed the grilled vegetables as they were probably the healthiest side item that I had all week and they were tasty to boot. My wife enjoyed both the lamb and the eggplant side and was happy that she had ordered both of them. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. A Must try restaurant If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine. We found this restaurant through Yelp as I was just searching for options and saw they offered Khachapuri which I enjoyed when I did try this dish abroad. We started with traditional hummus that came with some type of sesame bread, Greek salad and tried the lamb Somsa which was delicious. The lamb was soft and mixed in with sauté onions. My favorite dish was the seafood pizza! The dough of the pizza was more on the corn cake side with slight dough-ness taste. The service was excellent as everyone works as a team and makes sure we are good. The only negative was the wine- pricey for bottles that usually sell under $10. But I understand it's a restaurant and they need to make their money. And didn't like the fact that the wine was hot even though it was stored in a wine cooler.. would recommend this and the food prices are great. read more
