Turkish coffee and with the walnut baklava.

Really great baklava with a big variety of authentic Turkish sweets. Everything tastes fresh, and the owner is very polite and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.

Who would have ever imagined a store just for baklava. And why haven't they before? My wife is a huge baklava fan and was super excited when we saw this. I didn't even know they had different types of baklava. But it doesn't stop there. They also had a million different types of turkish delight! Which immediately made me think of lion the witch and the wardrobe, and I saw that they had a narnia box! The baklava was nice and flaky and we'll definitely be visiting everytime we go to the Mission mall.

A pretty and modern Turkish cafe in the Mission Viejo. I can see this place getting very popular through Yelp and social media eventually. Maybe if a reel or two gets popular. The decor and the food display make for a nice Instagram backdrop. They have an assortment of Turkish delight varieties presented as little logs. You pick the ones that you want and the gentleman behind the counter (presumably the owner?) cuts them up into cubes and puts it in a box for you. They also have a variety of baklavas to choose from. I love that they offer Turkish coffee as well. It breaks the sweetness of the desserts. Overall everything was tasty and service was good. I hope this Turkish cafe/bakery stays here for a long time. Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills don't have too many interesting food offerings and this place definitely brings something interesting to the neighborhood.

Turkish Delight. This. Is. Incredible. I highly recommend trying it out.

New to the Shops at Mission Viejo, Baklava shop is a welcome addition to the area. Sometimes I just want something different and exciting to satisfy my non-existent sweet tooth. THE FOODS | Turkish sweet treats. I ordered (and tore through)... - Turkish Delight | The exterior is a springy, white nougat and has a interesting gummy/chewy consistency. The center is a creamy, buttery filling with bits of pistachio mixed in and the subtle scent of rose water. This. Is. Incredible. I highly recommend trying it out. THE DRINKS | Coffee and teas. I didn't order a drink this time around but I'm dying to try their Turkish coffee. If it's anything like other Turkish coffees I've tried in the past, I'm expecting a strong hit of caffeine. I feel jittery just thinking about it. WOULD I COME BACK? | Absolutely yes. I'm sure the baklava is great, but their Turkish Delight lives in my head rent free and I have to go back for more.

    Delicious treats.

The flavor was delightful and I will be back to get a taste of some I have yet to try. The service was great the guy recommended some good once I have tried before and I was satisfied with the pickings. The place is clean and it was filled with a good amount of selection.

Fairly it's more of a 3.5 stars but since we don't have half ratings, rating up works. This is located inside the Crown Valley Mall on the ground level right below the food court area. It's a nice sheik little store with different baklavas, Turkish delights and tea/coffee. You can order by the piece or the box but I was craving some Turkish coffee and baklava so I had mine right there. As far as the baklava goes the pistachio was my favorite. The flavor was just delicious along with the texture. Their Turkish coffee was just ok to be honest. I've had many many that are made on hot sand as the order is made so this was lacking the depth and the froth on top from being cooked. Service was really good and hospitable and that was the best part of it all. Baklavas could be a little more fresh but I get it, why keep making unless the trays are empty specially in the slower times. My biggest criticism is serving the baklavas on nicer dish ware instead of paper or styrofoam plates and even for tea and coffee to have actual cups. Nothing worse that having some beautiful drinks and tea and to be presented in a very unflattering way specially at the price.

My wife and I love baklava so when we stumbled upon this shop at the Shops at Mission Viejo we were really happy. We both got baklava and it was delicious. Light, flaky crust, plenty of nuts --- sweet but too sweet. Wonderful! It went down fast. There is a huge selection of treats here: from baklava to Turkish delight to pastries. And coffee and Turkish coffee too. Next time I'll try the Turkish coffee. The owner was very friendly. The shop is bright and inviting. It's a definitely a place I'll go back to for an indulgent treat! Or two!

We also ordered a simple ham and cheese omelette, served with a side of their sliced baguette -- again assuming was fresh baked, because it was delicious. Simple dish, done right, which honestly says a lot about a kitchen. But the danishes stole the show. We grabbed a few to try, and the blueberry one was outstanding -- like, stopped-mid-conversation-to-comment-on-it good. Not overly sweet, good fruit-to-pastry ratio, perfect texture. Ariana helped us and was an absolute sweetheart -- even let us sample a pastry we were debating on before we committed. That kind of thing goes a long way, especially when you're trying to decide between six things that all look amazing in the case. Atmosphere was great too, comfortable spot to sit and eat instead of just grab-and-go. Will definitely be back to work through the rest of the pastry case. 10/10. Their son in particular is phenomenal and always made every interaction pleasant. The baked goods are fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. While there was one interaction in the past that felt a little more business-focused than hospitality-focused regarding a mall discount, it was far from enough to take away from the overall experience this bakery consistently provides. Manager ( not the owners ) was upset I wasn't able to offer a mall discount when they were able too. Came to the point she would verbally say we wouldn't ( myself and crew members) wouldn't be receiving it. Personally not a big deal. Most I'd spend was 5-7$ and discount was less than a dollar. Still a phenomenal bakery At the end of the day, great ownership, great products, and great people. Small businesses like this deserve support, and I'm always happy to recommend them.

Extremely Disappointing Service -- It's About the Principle…read more We ordered a tuna brioche sandwich and were asked whether we wanted a salad or fries. I clearly said fries. When I received the bill, I noticed I had been charged separately for the sandwich and a side of fries. Since we were sharing the sandwich, I asked for it to be cut in half. After having to ask again, the sandwich finally arrived on a small plate. We then had to ask for a second plate so we could each have our own. The entire experience felt unnecessarily complicated and showed a real lack of attention to basic customer service. After waiting more than half an hour, we asked about the fries we had ordered and already paid for. Instead of simply checking the order, the server asked to see my receipt, which made me feel as though he was questioning whether I was telling the truth. After some time, he returned and admitted that he had made a mistake when charging us. He explained that what I had paid for the fries was actually the full price of the sandwich, and if we still wanted fries, we would have to pay for them again. The fries were only $2, so this was never about the money. What was upsetting was the principle. You made the mistake, not the customer. I had already left approximately a 20% tip, and I simply expected the restaurant to honor the mistake rather than come back and ask me for another $2. When I pointed this out, I was told the manager would not allow it. Honestly, the $2 mistake cost you a customer. I will not return, and I would not recommend this place. It's not about the price of the fries--it's about how you make your customers feel. After spending our money here and leaving a good tip, I expected to feel that our business was appreciated. Instead, I left feeling that it simply wasn't.

I ordered an iced sea salt jasmine tea (large). I ordered through their website on my way there. When I went in to pick it up, the jasmine tea was waiting in the fridge for me and they topped it with the sea salt foam right before they handed it over, so that the foam would be nice and fresh. Once they add the foam it starts slowly blending with the tea, so I think it's nice that they make it fresh like that. I ordered 25% sweet tea, and it was just right. Honestly I bet even unsweetened would have been good too. The jasmine tea has a very strong floral taste, more so than other jasmine teas I've had at other places, which I think offsets some of the need for sweetness, and the sea salt foam was actually quite sweet as well. It was sweeter foam than 85C Bakery, which is my other go-to place. I enjoyed my drink and I thought the amount of foam they put on top was great (I like a lot of foam). The coffee/tea shop itself seems pretty nice. Although I didn't stay or order food, they do have a nice seating area where I saw a lot of people on their computers, and they have food items on their menu too.
