They had all the citrus favorites like orange, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, and lime. They also sell papaya, jackfruit, kumquat, avocado, longan, plantain, bread fruit, mango, lychee, June plum, all spice, tamarind, Florida peach, kiwi, gooseberry, fig, coconut, olive, sugar apple, custard apple, and mammee apple to name just a few. They have hundreds of varieties of rare and exotic fruit trees. Everything is grown organic without pesticides. The Wild Flamingo is also a farmers market. They sell eggs, raw honey, produce, and ice cream. The owner Darren was on hand and ready to answer any questions. The exceptional customer service is what sets this nursery apart. I had a nice chat with him and he showed me a lettuce plant that you can keep on your counter so you can pick fresh lettuce lettuce whenever you want. I loved the cats and chickens roaming the property. I am narrowing down which tree I want and when I am ready to purchase this is definitely where I want to get it from.

If you visit after it's been raining, be careful when you walk on the black weed block. The ground is uneven in some places and there are puddles underneath. Since parking there is limited, there is additional parking next door at the Dania Beach Casino. Put on by the Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency the festival melds food, art, and entertainment. Entertainment included live musicians performing on the stage and sand sculpting. There were food tents and trucks set up selling all kinds of seafood but also fair food. The art side of the festival featured artists selling works in drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and photography. There were also arts and crafts, artisan food, and plant vendors. Local community groups and businesses also had booths passing out information, swag, and samples. I won a free hat from the casino! Many people brought chairs and set up for the day on the field or under the shade of the trees. On the last night of the festival there was a concert featuring a Queen cover band. Held over the entire weekend there was more than enough to keep you occupied for several hours. This is a great family and dog friendly event.

We were told If we were not eating or drinking at the coffee bar you will not be able to sit down. Ordered two iced lattes and two empanadas. Coffee was okay but the empanadas were really good!
