I love the Plantation Pilates studios. I was going everyday and then in September I experienced some health issues and stopped going for about 2 months. I just took my first class back with Cianara and she could not have been kinder and she made me feel like I did not skip a beat. As I was leaving I ran into Mary and she gave me the biggest hug and welcomed me back with the biggest smile. This studio is truly the best! So happy to be back at it. read more

Don't go to this Pilates places I didn't get the chance to meet the teacher but it was kinda rude I came at 3 and before I can check in she just went to work starting. Not only that the women in the front the blond was absolutely horrible to deal with. She used her fake kindness saw that I was struggling because they did not even have Apple Pay!!! And I needed socks socks! I drove all this way I tried to buy socks She needed to see a photo of my card and before I new it It was ten minutes into the class and I had to leave. The girl in the front seemed way to young to be working there. And could of lended me the socks and sorted it out until afterwards. Or had me pay after the girl next to her suggested me go. Then the blond would not let me go in with out a pair of socks!! I was going to buy a package her 4 lessons. Now I never want to come back they were unfriendly and not accommodating. The women next to her tried to help me But in the end it was extremely unfortunate I drove all this way over and this is how they treat me a new client!!! Screw the ten dollar socks they lost a client willing to pay 100 a month!!! Unfortunate and total lack of professionalism I worked from desk before and I would of never handled it that way. I've been working through a knee injury since March, and neck/back issues for the last four years from an auto accident that has gotten progressively worse over the last two years. It was recently recommended that I have neck surgery, and after seeing a well respected and known neurosurgeon at the UM hospital/clinic facilities in Miami different forms of therapy were recommended. One of which was Pilates. Although I have amazing insurance coverage, the co-pay for specialty doctors is on the high end for the amount of times it was suggested I go to PT each week. To offset that, I noticed a Pilates studio close to my house and stopped in one day. There is an intro class for people like me who have never done Pilates before. It familiarizes you with the equipment, terminology, and gives you a feel for what you would be doing. I signed up for the Unlimited package since I am very motivated in finding solutions for my ailments considering I have become a permanent fixture on my couch for the last six months unable to do pretty much every and anything. There are different levels: 1, 1.5, and 2. Level 1 is beginner which you do for a good amount of visits to ramp you up to the next level. With each class, you understand more and more what areas of your body should be doing what. The teachers I have tried so far have been wonderful, easy to talk to about my injuries, and have helped me substitute activities when I needed to for moves that negatively affect my knee. I can't express how amazing and important that has been for me on top of the fact that for me this is new and can already be intimidating. I love that the classes are by level so you are in a class with people of all ages who are in the same place. I think it creates a pleasant and comfortable environment. You need yoga/Pilates/barre socks for the class. You can get them online, or they sell them there. In addition to regular reformer Pilates classes, there is a Cardio Sculpt class which I love, and another that involves more deep stretching (I haven't tried this one yet). My favorite thing about Pilates besides starting to be active again is the amount of concentration it takes to not only do the moves but to ensure your breathing and your body parts are positioned how they should be which makes your brain focus on one thing..... being present and forgetting about everything else. Case in point, we all need to give our minds a rest and regroup! I highly recommend trying this! There is an app you can download once you are a member, and you can easily book/cancel your classes and add them to your phone calendar. I joined Jan 2021, committing to 4 classes a month. I quickly increased to 2 times a week or 8 classes a month. I did not take an introduction class I just jumped right in. I do like the amount of classes offered at different times. I downloaded the Club Pilates App and schedule my class according to time available. Currently I've take about 26 classes. Because I have to schedule classes when I'm available Ive taken different classes with several different instructor. Some of the instructors are amazing. But today I booked a class at a time that was available for me. When I arrived I was told that it was a level 2 class and asked to leave after the class began. Really embarrassing and I'm thinking about canceling my membership. The app permitted me to schedule the class and I didn't even think about the level. The instructor was a extremely rude and ruin the positive attitude I had about club Pilates. read more

I've been coming to club Pilates for about a year now and while do enjoy the workout my frustration with the business is growing. Each class is $35 unless you sign their contract that binds you for 3 months or you have to pay $100 to cancel the contract. I do the 8 classes per month and I get 8 credits for booking classes per month. When it comes to booking classes, you do this on an app and you have to book way in advance or all the classes will be fully booked and you cannot get in. In the case you cannot book, you lose money because the class credits on the contract do not roll over every month. Additionally, if you book a class and cannot make it to the class you lose your credit. They require a doctors note in order to refund you the money. I recently booked a class at an unfavorable time because it was the only class with open availability. After rechecking the app, another class became available. When calling to see if they could change me to the newly available class I was told I would lose my credit and would now have to pay for the class because I had no credits left. The inflexible structure of their credits is very frustrating and turns you off of enjoying an exercise at this facility. I am now interested in bringing my business elsewhere to a place that isn't out to penalize me for their inability to work with their customers. read more

I attended one of the free intro classes, which I enjoyed and found helpful because it explains the machine. I ended up getting a 4 class/month package to supplement a class package I already have at another studio. So far I have enjoyed the classes and the instructors and am thinking about increasing my membership. The studio is new and in great condition and the location is convenient. I do have 2 gripes: I bring my own wipes to clean the machine before starting because the instructors tend to only give you one wipe after class to clean your ares and I just feel like 1 wipe is not enough to do a good job - so I clean my machine before I start. My second issue is the pricing - they do no not offer class packages, only monthly memberships at 4, 8 or unlimited classes per month. And classes do NOT roll over. To purchase a single class is $26 or $29 (I think), which is a lot! I'm not sure if a location has control over this since it is a franchise, but I wish they would offer add on classes at a better rate or class packages. read more

When I moved to So Flo it was difficult to find a consistent program that has options for classes at different times. I literally tried 6-7 programs all over and landed here! Love it!! read more

This place is great! I run and do a lot of interval training and pilates has helped me to avoid injuries. It also has improved my flexibility and core strength. They have classes every hour so it's easy to schedule a session. It is very clean and the equipment is brand new and state of the art! I have been taking Pilates classes at this location for 1 year. I am amazed at the results. I NEVER ache anywhere anymore. I just got back from Europe walking and pushing my mother in a wheelchair through cobblestone cities and not one ache!! I outlasted the 28 year olds. The mind body connection is also a fantastic benefit for slowing down aging. As a physical/ occupational therapist, I am truly amazed by the knowledge that these instructors demonstrate. Very disappointed. Spent 20 minutes doing TRX and not Pilates! The other two women in my class weren't even informed of how to set up their reformers for their proper heigh Although this is a new establishment the equipment is very dirty and the instructor definitely did not do a 500 hour training program as claimed. The problem with this place is that it is not okay nor possible to teach a real Pilates session with 14 people in a class. This class only had 4 and it lacked a lot of safety already. I would not recommend taking Pilates here. Not impressed. read more
