Breakfast was amazing Service was outstanding It was very busy this morning, gets a little loud with everyone in there talking and having a good time.

Absolutely love! Expect a wait but totally worth it. They make home made jam and big ass biscuits. They now have a back room for coffee and alcoholic breakfast drinks for your wait. The grits should be world renowned. They need nothing. No cheese or butter. They are perfect the way they are. Everything on the menu is wonderful, the hardest thing will be picking your meal.

fast service even with the place packed out workers where friendly low price for the amount of food and taste.

Spur of the moment decision to come here and I'm glad we did! Amazing food and service. Everything is homemade - jam, biscuits, queso, you name it! Service was quick once you got a seat, they have a cute mimosa and coffee bar around the corner while you wait for a table. Very well run! I got the special, Baja Bowl with grits and biscuits. My husband got the Banks Omelet. 5/5!

You can't go wrong with shrimp and bacon in an omelette! And the pimento cheese really just sets it off! The biscuits here are some of the best I've ever had, and the homemade island jam ) pineapple mango and orange) is so good!

Overall a good place to eat breakfast. Local establishment with a decent breakfast menu. It is a typical breakfast spot. I would eat here again but didn't have or see anything in the menu that would make me go out of my way to come back. The service was pleasant and friendly.

I wish I could give the Banks Grill 10 stars for two reasons. 1. The waitstaff. They get first place because they're the heart and soul. Not only was our waitress attentive and friendly, we watched them all interact with the clientele. Everyone was so warm and personable, truly above, beyond, and genuine. 2. Our food was incredible. I put my diet aside and went for the Land and Sea Benedict. It was a seasonal special. No regrets. It was ridiculous and I mean that in the best way possible. (See picture). My hubby had the pancakes and they were also really good. I was so obsessed with mine, I forgot to take a picture. Also, the tropical mimosa was great. Highly recommend. There will likely be a wait but the time was just as predicted. Just do it.. you won't be disappointed.

The menu wasn't the same old thing! We all agreed that the top choice were the crab cakes and the delicious sides accompanying that dish. The chicken pesto dish came in second.Grouper was very good, but not outstanding. The grits in my scallops recipe needed to be enriched with cream and/or butter. At their price point I feel the dish needs to be the best I have tasted! Do not get me wrong,I will be returning for special occasions. So far, Parrott's on 11th is my favorite restaurant in the Beaufort and Morehead City area. Can't imagine how good it will be once they up there game a tiny bit more! The menu is creative both for food and drinks, and you're definitely going to need a reservation to get seated. While you're there expect top notch service, and food that is really good, but at least in my experience, falling a bit short of the excellence the prices are aiming for. We were all kind of hungry and thirsty when we came in, having spent the day on Shackleford island, and being shut down at every turn by the restaurant we stopped into first hoping to have some appetizers (they were out of everything we asked about). This boded well for Parrott's, we got several apps and cocktails in addition to our mains. Unfortunately, it was really those apps that I felt fell short. Our waiter talked up the lamb meatballs to the point where we were really expecting to be blown away, and ultimately, they were pretty ordinary, and just two of them, making it hard to split amongst 6 people. Same could be said for the pork belly bbq skewers, they were small and didn't thrill any of us. The main courses made up for those shortcomings, a couple of us got the grouper, there was a scallops and grits order, a delicious pesto chicken pasta, and some crab cakes that I ended up being pretty jealous of because they stole the show. These mains were a good size helping, and each robust in their own ways, showcasing creativity and excellence in the kitchen. In the end, for the amount of the bill, you expect everything to be top notch up and down, and it fell short of that to me... but not so drastically so that I wouldn't recommend the place to others, with the caveat to have appetizers somewhere else first.

The bartender was busy working and singing in between taking orders as she prepared drinks for customers. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and offered the specials before we placed our order. We love to sample the menu when we travel and the vast menu of tapas gave us the perfect opportunity to try just about everything. They had a smaller wine selection, but there was something for just about everyone. Our waiter was very attentive and offered suggestions on what to try if we were torn between several menu options. The Spanish lamb meatballs, truffle honey pork belly and rosemary beef were the tapas that stood out as the most flavorful and making us each want just one more bite. The Spanish meatballs were glazed with sriracha which caused me to pause before ordering. However, I'm so happy that we gave them a try. They had a bold flavor, but the whipped feta and cilantro were enough to balance the heat. The truffle honey pork belly was sliced differently. We have only had this cut into cubes at other restaurants in the past. The way that they slice the pork belly is so much better. The pork belly was served with cheese grits. We don't even like cheese grits, but could not get enough of these smoked Gouda grits. The rosemary beef with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect. The beef was tender, the asparagus cooked to perfection and who doesn't love mashed potatoes. We visit the crystal coast about twice a year and always try a couple of new places. The Brussels were crispy and savory, and even the potstickers were a standout. Nothing felt like an afterthought. Service was perfect for the tapas setting too. Not rushed, we didn't feel over bothered, but not neglected either. Overall, it felt elevated but still comfortable. A great experience without feeling over the top. We'll definitely be back.
