Went to Snapperz specifically looking for seafood boil. It was delicious! They thoughtfully bring all the things to the table for you to enjoy the boil without having to ask: crab crackers, small fork, butter, cocktail sauce, wet wipe, and bucket for shells. The original seafood boil came with clams, cluster of crab legs, ear of corn, potatoes, shrimp, and sausage. Each steam pot is market price, which at the time of our visit was around $47. We've eaten at the Snapperz in Emerald Isle, so we gave Snapperz a whirl in Morehead City since we are vacationing nearby. Great experience on a busy Mother's Day. Our server, Cameron was outstanding. She was even able to get my wife a margarita that wasn't on the drinks menu. I had the Bob Marley fish sandwich with those amazing Snapperz fries! Omg. This meal was all I wanted for a winter beach trip. Steaming crab pot!! Clam chowder! My crab pot was delicious, and perfect for one person- a little pricy for lunch- but I left full and happy. We were spending a day in Morehead checking out the various holiday events. After a quick search we landed on Snapperz for lunch. We started with the fresh, raw oysters--incredible. Then we got the bang bang shrimp wrap (lunch special) and the shrimp burger. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the sides (fries, homemade potato chips) were delicious as well. The staff were great--they opened the door to welcome us and opened the door when we left. Everyone was so nice! Our server was sure to note our dietary restrictions, and the manager checked on how we were enjoying the meal. The restaurant itself is a quirky coastal vibe and was decorated for the holidays. Always a great go to spot when in Morehead City. I typically get the fish tacos with blackened fish and all of the sauces. This time we ordered three different desserts and asked for a knife or if the could just cut the pieces in three pieces. They went above and beyond and slivered the pieces in thirds and put one of each on a plate. All three were amazing. That peanut butter chocolate pie is to die for along with the Key Lime Pie. The second time we went back just to celebrate a birthday because birthday boy's favorite is their Key Lime Pie and they were out. GASP! Such a disappointment but it happens.
