Maritza ..

Came here after the marine corps ball for after party vibes on Thursday 11/20. The group I was with was celebrating the 250th marines birthday. The ambiance was fun and hearing the karaoke was a good vibe. The drinks I drank was a beer and two cocktails both were good unfortunately I can't remember the names but my favorite was one that the bartender made for me which I believe had coconut it. Whatever it was it was delicious and it was green. My only issue was that the waitlist for the karaoke wasn't followed. I was with a couple who signed up right after each other.there was long wait time two hours or so how long they waited. The female got to go up and the male got skipped and his spot was taken by a group having their bachelor party. It just happened that they choose the same song. That really brought the vibe down. He really was excited to go. Overall it was fun, and will come back to give it another chance.

While in Myrtle Beach for a wedding/girl's trip, we decided to head over to Tin Roof for some fun. Since we were staying at a nearby hotel, Tin Roof was in walking distance for us. We arrived at around Midnight and the cover charge was $5/person which wasn't bad at all. It was definitely crowded when we all arrived but the music was amazing! Since it was so many people in the place, it did take a while to get the bartenders attention but the drinks were reasonably priced and tasted great. I absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor rooftop options. Both the indoor area and outdoor area have bars and since it was warm out, we partied in the outdoor rooftop area and had a great time celebrating the wedding couple. Tin Roof is definitely a vibe and I'd definitely go back again the next time I visit Myrtle Beach.

Great views!

Super nice staff. They were having a private event but they let us in For one drink. Ended up staying for the event....drag show bingo! So funny!!! Nice bartenders and the nachos were yummy!!!

This might be the best seat on the beach for dinner! We have been here twice, and I am not sure why we have not come more than that. We got a wonderful seat up against the see through railing looking at the ocean...super windy though! We each got the two taco with a side for dinner. We both tried the fried avocado...super good, and then I got the pulled pork and my husband and got the pulled chicken. We really liked both. We both got the tater tots. They were awesome...super crispy.

Good DJ, friendly bartenders, and a great view. Just be careful they make the drinks really strong.

First off, very beautiful venue, easy to find the seats and where the seats are located. Outside looks like an old time opera house, they do have stairs though. Inside they have a little gift shop and food stand. While entering the smell of popcorn fills the hall. Ticket attendents got the line moving and was pleasant. Got inside and the seats were comfy. As for the show, itself Killer Queen, didn't really like it as much, and for starters the band didn't open with a familiar song like Bohemian Rhaspsody. In my opinion a good show starts with 1 or 2 familar songs, then in the middle have a few new hits that may be unheard of, then close with another 2 popular songs. to add from Queen I only know of songs like Bohemian Rhaspsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions- now while those were played-- waited until the very end to hear them. Also the band had to pull everyone out of their seats multiple times- and I mean if one plays a popular song, we will automatically get up and dance! Also to add, background- I remember in the Queen Movie they showed how to do the dance of both We Will Rock You, and Radio Ga Ga- show it in the background so that the audience can do it! or have a band member do it! Will admit for me, I'm more than likely to spend my money on a show based on a band that I know- like Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, to name a few! Would be cool to have shows like that at this theatre! Anyways, despite this experience, we may be back for another show!

No doubt, the strongest performer is the lady who covers Pat Benetar. Second would be Bob Marley. But no disrespect to the rest of the cast. Some have much bigger shoes to fill (Michael Jackson? C'mon! That kid did a nice job). Freddy Mercury is next to the hardest. Also, was decent. Again, give these performers a lot of credit. It's not NY, LA, Vegas, or Nashville. They probably work very hard for okay pay! Go support live music & theatre!!

Legends has always been one of our favorites because it's consistently one of the better shows to enjoy in the area. Some type of an Elvis impersonator and Blues Brother act is ALWAYS present in any Legends lineup...and the lineup you see really does matter. This is why sometimes a Legends lineup is EPIC, while sometimes it's just "meh." That's the risk you run with Legends. On this most recent visit (my first since their relocation to their current location) we had a really strong lineup that included the Blues Brother, Alan Jackson, Steve Perry, Michael Jackson, and a 68 special leather suit Elvis . I will say, this was the first time I realized that the musicians aren't actually playing live music but merely pantomiming to a recorded track...it became very entertaining after realizing that to watch how some of them really got into their role. The best example of this was Mario on the keyboards. That man was fake playing that keyboard like his life depended on it and like he was having the best day of life...he was honestly more entertaining than some of the lead entertainers...whatever Legends is paying him they need to give him a raise! If you're in Myrtle Beach and looking for a fun way to pass the evening Legends is usually a safe bet!

We arrived 10 minutes early and checked in at the hostess stand. The two workers there were rude and unwelcoming. The first host snarkily replied that we were too early and needed to wait, and then whispered to the other host. They both looked at us and then the second one made a snarky remark too and told us we needed to wait somewhere. Our party of four found a bench in the waiting area. I ran outside to take a picture of the rocking chairs for Yelp in the waiting area outside and apparently the second I walked outside the host exclaimed "they got here early, and now part of their party just left." Their attitude and hospitality were very lacking for just a unique and artsy place. We were seated in the main dining area, with a great view of the ceiling featuring iconic blues artists and musicians. Our host was attentive and very friendly. She was welcoming and even explained the local favorites on the menu, specialty drink offerings, and show schedules. I asked a question about a sauce listed with a sandwich on the menu and she was knowledgeable. Service was a little slow for drink refills and food, but the atmosphere was enjoyable. I ordered the BBQ sandwich with regular fries and a pepsi to drink. The barbecue was very fresh, juicy, and flavorful. I asked for the sauce on the side and the cup was a great portion, had a nice flavor, and was great to dip. The fries were a great temperature and crispiness. Everything was warm and a great portion. Truly one of the best meals this entire trip. Everyone at our table was pleased with their meals!

Sat right out on its own pier, proper seaside setup. You're out there catching a bit of sun, breeze coming through, watching beachgoers stroll by like it's a live show put on just for you. Hard to beat, that. First visit was more of a casual affair. Bit of this, bit of that, nothing too serious. Started with the poke nachos, and fair play, they didn't hold back. Proper loaded. Tuna piled on, sauces working overtime, every bite doing its job. You could tell straight away they weren't cutting corners. Couple of draft Michelobs went down nicely, crisp, cold, no complaints there. The lady went for a Bloody Mary and swore by it. Said it had a bit of punch to it, which is exactly what you want. Still had a bit of room, so we went for the shark bites. And mate... absolute money. Light, crispy, seasoned just right. One of those plates where you keep reaching back in without thinking. Now here's where it gets interesting. We came back. Proper supper this time. Sat down, took it seriously. Started with the fried calamari. Nicely done, not rubbery, good crunch, does exactly what it should. Then the mains. Shrimp po' boy loaded up, proper seaside sandwich, messy in the best way. And the fried platter, shrimp, fish, oysters... the full spread. This is where they really showed out. Everything cooked right, nothing overdone, no shortcuts. Just solid seafood, done properly. Easily the best seafood we had in Myrtle Beach, and that's not something I say lightly. Some places are a one and done. This one had us coming back for a second go... and that tells you everything you need to know. Five stars. Proper job.
