Jamie is the best barber I've ever had, and I'm quite particular. She takes the time to listen to how I want my hair cut, and incorporates her professional judgement for a perfect cut, every time. I've been to most establishments in the area, and have had plenty of cuts out of the area with expensive barbers who don't deliver close to the same product. Great atmosphere, great people, and the prices are very reasonable. I drive from Folsom just to get lined up here. Highly recommend. Found this place online and since we just moved here need to find a great place to get my hair cut. They have been open for a few months now and it is not a "chain" store - small business owner. I was very happy with my haircut, the products she used were high quality and both people working there were super nice. Definitely going back next time. A business worth supporting. Came in a couple weeks ago. Was very impressed with how the inside looked. Was very modern but still had a barber shop feel to it. I got a regular haircut but I cant remember the name of my stylist. I heard about a very special couple ladies that had a special Barber Shoppe in Cameron Park. It was time for my hair cut, so I decided to make the short beautiful drive from Folsom to their business. The location was great and easy to access off Green Valley road, plus their sign was awesome and noticeable! Immediately when entering their business, I extremely impressed with the beautiful interior and workmanship put into all the furniture. I felt like I was taken back in time, because the chairs were "Top Class" and so beautiful. They wasted to expense to give the full experience. I was immediately greeted by a couple friendly smiles from the Owner, Jamie, and her right hand girl Angelina. I also understand that Jamie's husband David was also a big part of this beautiful Shoppe! So anyways, all I can say is that if you want an amazing experience, go see these girls! After arriving on time, waited ten minutes while THREE hair stylists fawned all over some hunky young guy/and looked at something on his phone, while I and two other older adults sat there watching and waiting. Like many I have been growing my hair out and not getting it colored since Covid hit. And, the salon I used before Covid was closed due to a flood. I got a couple of blunt trims at a chain salon and on my last visit I decided to ask for a different style and showed 3 pics of what I wanted to the stylist. She obviously had no idea how to cut my hair anything like the pics and I left feeling like I looked ridiculous. The next day I tried to get in to a couple of salons but they didn't take walk ins. It's great to finally find a stylist that just enjoys and specializes in doing haircuts. I didn't have a specific style in mind but I knew I needed a haircut badly, it's been 9 months! I've been having my haircut by Jaime for about 15 years now way back when she used to work at a franchise establishment, never once had a bad haircut. I simply would not allow anyone else to cut my hair, If she wasn't there, I'd wait till her next shift. She was always good for great conversations, very professional, and always kept the place super clean! I've had the pleasure of getting two haircuts now since she opened her new place and it's just super nice! I've seen smiling family members who were so happy with their service and mentioned that they would come back next time, along with an older gentleman who got a shave. This independent, locally owned business is brand spanking new. They were set to open just before the COVID pandemic shut everything down. They weren't able to open their doors until mid-August. Despite the setback, these owners have a great positive outlook and gave my son and me great haircuts at affordable prices. They did such a great job that my wife decided to get her hair cut too and she is very happy with how it turned out. All of the hair stylists are very experienced, friendly, and respectful. They're also very meticulous about cleaning their work stations in between customers. All in all, this is a very well run business. read more

I recently moved to the area and was so happy to find a family friendly place to get my haircut. While watching my boys get their hairs cut, I noticed how well the stylists cleaned their workstations in between clients. They weren't just " going through the motions", they truly took a lot of care to sanitize everything. When it was my turn, I was so happy that the conversation with my stylist was light and friendly. I hate nosy stylists that ask a thousand questions but don't really care what I have to say. Also, the stylist didn't ramble on about topics I didn't care to hear about. We had a great first visit to this new shop and ended up bringing back all four of our kids. First of all, it is beautiful. The decor is clean, classy, and unique. It's got an upscale and edgy feel to it that brings in the old fashioned nostalgia of an "old timey" barber shop. The vibe is cool and I've personally never seen a barber shop this beautiful. They are very clean and adhere to all Covid regulations. The prices are good and it's run by a really friendly local family who cares very much about their customers! My husband and I, and all 4 of our children get our hair cut and styled here. It's refreshing to finally find a place that the entire family feels welcome! They are extremely patient with kids, and the stylists know all the latest trends so our teen boy loves coming here too! Besides the basic barbering needs for men, they can also do color, cuts, styles, perms, and I heard they will be soon offering even more.
