I give NO STARS to this place. I have been there 2 times in the past couple months and the attitude of the two people in here is at best described as lazy. They are only after the $$. NOT service. Very slow to speak to you and want to know why you came to them- where you go before??.. Really?? This last visit was the limit. I wanted the pedicure $25.00 and to have my Gel nails only Removed. The fellow that was to do my pedicure was brutal in cutting my nails. I said short, they were short already but never thought he would butcher my toes. He cut my toenails soo short that I bled and still have a sore toe! I really doubt they are allowed to cut nails that short. Maybe a Doctor can but not them! Very unhappy with my experience. I went in with black gel nails and wanted a pink glitter nail polish put on (not gels). The girl roughly removed my black polish but I could see some specks she left. Although there were no other customers waiting she rushed doing my nails and did a horrible and painful job with my cuticles. The nail polish I chose had glitter and the tips of my nails were so rough and scratchy that I had to refile the tip when I got home. The place is not clean, tons of dust and trash laying around. The price sign is thumbtacked to the wall and very unprofessional looking. It was definitely not a relaxing experience and the girl definitely does not know how to provide good customer experience. Numerous times she made comments about my choice of nail polish and how I should spend more money to get gels. I explained to her that I wanted the color on just for a Halloween costume which is why I wasn't choosing gels. I will not go to this place again. So much for trying to give another business a chance...I'm sticking with Nina's nails. read more

So I am updating my review from 6 days ago!!!! 6 days!!!!! I called them and let them know my nails were lifting and chipping after 6 days and they shouldn't be, so I told him I was coming in that I wanted them removed and my money back. He told me on come in and I will help you. So I go in at 5:30 pm and he says they will give me part of my money back and that they wanted the opportunity to fix the problem. I said ok. So she filed them down but didn't get rid of the color from the dip powder from before, put more dip powder over the top and then topped them with burgundy colored gel. As I was leaving I asked for the partial payment in return and he laughed and told me he wasn't giving me anything. I then proceeded to tell him I was taking my business elsewhere, he chuckled and told me that was fine he has plenty of customers. I was so appalled and angry I left. Jon did my pedicure and manicure. He was extremely rough on the massage aspect, and then put an extremely Hot towel on my legs that almost burned me- I love hot and this was over the top. Then he did my manicure and I had a darker turquoise on and it didn't come off very easily l. He was complaining and told me not to wear that color again it was too hard to get off my nails. He took very little time on my manicure and then painted them sloppy. All in all not a great experience and I had to wait a long time- I did walk in so I'm ok with that. read more

I will most likely come back here! :) All the employees had really good personalities and made it really enjoyable. Especially their male employee, whose name I do not know, he was hilarious and consistently making conversations and cracking jokes. The price of a pedicure was only $25 and I really enjoyed that it was a new establishment where the chairs and spas were all really clean. However, they lose a star because the paint was all over my skin when I had left and the foot massage was awful. She spent a lot of time doing it but I barely even felt her touching them because she was far too gentle! I want a massage - I don't want to be pet. ;) read more

Edit: I was happy with everything but the price ($85 for full set and basic pedi!!) until my nails started coming off after a week. Never again. The most expensive manicure of my life didn't even last half the time it should. Ridiculous. The employees were nice, my nails look great. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are: 1. I got acrylics. It's been years since I've had acrylic nails, but I'm used to a massage of some kind when getting my nails done. No lotion, oil, or rubbing to be had. 2. All said and done, I feel like they're priced a bit high. 3. No magazines! I feel like that's one of the great things gutting nails done is the unabashed reading of mindless gossip drivel. I indulge in that junk only while I'm at a salon getting a pedi. So that was a bit disappointing to me. Emily did my nails and she was great. Very fast and friendly. Lily did my pedi. She massaged forever, which was great. The water was too hot to begin with, but she happily cooled it down a bit. The massage could've been a little harder, but I don't think I've been to a nail salon that massages as hard as I'd like. I enjoyed chatting with the employees. My nails look great. It has been 2 weeks since I had the 'dip' done on my nails by Emily. My nails still look like they were just done. That was my first time in and I will not be visiting any other salon from now on. Jon and Emily were both very understanding of my 4 young children waiting in the lobby my husband to pick them up and they squeezed me in just before closing. I have been to over a dozen nail salons that claim to do dip nails but honestly, Emily's technique ensures that my dip stays flawless for well over three weeks without peeling or chipping. My daughter and her cousin went to get a full set of nails. My daughter's nails were bumpy and lumpy. They were also bubbly and missed shaped, and the acrylic was all over the cuticles. They were painted poorly, and this was after he fixed them two times. My daughter asked to get the money back, and he shoved them out the door. He took advantage of them being young girls. We had to go and get the $ back the follow day, and he continued to argue with me about his poor quality of work. Save your $$$. read more

I should have trusted the negative reviews but decided to come to this salon a few days ago. Walked in with my daughter and was told that yes they had time for 2 manis and 2 pedis. We ended up waiting about 45 min in the ped chairs while water got cold. I had read about John on these reviews, but was relieved because he was not there. However, little did I know, he was called to come in because there were customers. So he had gone home and got called back. I tried not to have a predisposed impression of him but was a bit concerned when he was assigned to me. The first thing he said was that he was home and got called back, his back hurts and he thought he was done for the day. He was pretty rude the entire time, let it be known that he was not interested in being there and made comments about me being old. They only have one pedicure option for $25 which included about a 3 minute massage on each leg. When he was done, he asked me to go to a table for the manicure because his back hurt and he didn't want to hunch over anymore. I did. He cut me twice. Apologized (awww that was nice :) ). Then when he was done, he got up and said okay, bye. Walked out the door, got in his car and drove away. I can't believe I tipped, but I did. I will NEVER return. When I checked out, I asked if they took Visa, the lady said yes but asked me to pay in cash. I told her I didn't have enough cash. She pointed to the bank next door and I told her that Wells Fargo is not my bank and they will charge me so then she took my credit card. Based on my experience, I would say the customer service is the worst thing about this salon. From the other reviews, it sounds like John is the owner and so I don't see that this place would get any better as the quality of service always starts with the management. With all the competition around, I don't see how this place could last. The location is probably why it is still there. read more

I'm not sure if they're paying their customers or their friends to post reviews. I came in on mid week around 4 and there were three employees in five customers. The owner seemed very intense because he had more customers and employees. I sell it in her little waiting area for at least five minutes until he ushered me to the pedicure chair I thought there for another 10 minutes and tell a customer asked if you could put water in the chair. The owner run over to to turn on the water and then return back to the customer that told him to turn my water. The water was so hot I couldn't put my feet in it. Again the customer is aware of this and told the owner that the water was too hot for me. Sitting there wondering why the customer is helping me not the owner really starting to piss me off. As I set there for at least 40 minutes with no service being done. Finally when it was time for me to get a pedicure I was dripping in sweat because the salon was so hot. The owner could see my hair stick to my chest and shoulders. He then turned his floor fan to my direction. Pedicure was quality of 5. Almost being there an hour and 30 minutes I wanted to go home. Pissed off i paid my 22 plus tip for the worst experience ever. The owner didnt seem concerned. Horrible!! I was going to call him and tell him about the lack of service but then I thought why he witnessed it and didn't do nothing about it. read more

It took me a long time to find the PERFECT nail salon for me & this is it! I get the nail dip, which Emily does flawlessly. It stays perfect for a month & never chips or peels. I always get compliments on my nails. The pedicures are a treat, when I want to relax & come out feeling better. Jon & Emily both do an awesome pedicure & wonderful leg/foot massage. I also get my eyebrow waxing done here - convenient to have it all in the same place. Jon & Emily both go above & beyond. Jon even walked across the shopping center to help me find something I lost. My wife and I went in as walk-ins. We had been there once before and they did an o.k. job for $25 each plus 20% tips. They were already busy, so they called someone in. We sat about 15-20 minutes with our feet in the water with no anti-bacterial agent added, like the blue stuff used at most salons. I did notice there are ultraviolets lights in the tubs. This may or may not be able to kill off all of the germs. We never saw anyone clean the tubs out after other people were finished. The lady who showed up was obviously in a hurry when she worked on my wife because she had an appt. coming in later. She was young and skinny, don't know her name. I let my wife go first as she has polish to put on, etc. From what she stated, this girl actually hurt her skin with the abrasive pad and did a terrible job with the polish, completely rushed through the whole pedi. I, on the other hand, got an older lady, who did a really nice job on my feet. But, she could have cleaned under the big toe nails a bit better. She actually did some reflexology on them when she was massaging me after the nails were done. My wife will never go back. That's why it gets two stars. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could get the same lady that did mine all the time. But, that's not going to happen. Update: It seems that this place is losing business fast and has laid off a lot of the ladies that worked there. I've heard it's just the owner and his girlfriend working there now. read more
