I was looking for a new place & couldn't be happier than with Nöelle & Theory. I was originally looking for one of my clients I work with but plans fell through, a few things came up & I needed some "Mommy me time" lol I was able to book an appointment online super easy & got the first appointment on a Monday. Nöelle is so sweet, we talked about everything, I gave her some ideas I had & I ended up with a great cut! The salon is so cute & not overwhelming like some are. So I am a little particular about my hair and typically get a "flat-top" type of haircut. I looked for a long time and tried many hair stylists and finally ran into Noelle Pollastrini. She knew EXACTLY what I wanted and did an amazing job! She has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now and I will never leave Theory Hair Salon for as long as I have hair (Which thankfully will be a long time) : ) Oh yeah....and one moret thing.....at one of my last appointments, she pointed out that had a large dark spot on my head and I JUST got the results back from Kaiser Dermatology. Early stages of melanoma. I have surgery in 3 weeks. So Noelle basically saved my life! I would giver her 10 stars if I could but they wont let me! THANK YOU Noelle! Booked a hair appointment a week out for two. The day before the appointment the hairstylist said "sorry didn't realize I had an internet booking can you move the appointment?" I spoke to her on the phone and booked the time why you take an internet appointment over an appointment booked a week ago. I will never recommend this place. Absolutely zero star , this girl completely burnt off my hair that was down to my butt and I left with it way above my shoulders ! She is very unprofessional for being a salon owner. She gave me no helping advice to go home and how to manage to take care of my dreaded up " gummy bear " textured hair that kept falling out and breaking off . So disgusted how she was unresponsive through texting and left me with my now low self esteem as she goes on about her life . Noelle is a pro at giving you exactly what you ask for! I wanted some straight bangs (are those in style anymore? I don't know, but I wanted them), and she noted that I have a cowlick in the bang area and let me know how that would affect my hairstyle. We worked through it, I got bangs, and I'm training my cowlick just like Noelle told me to, hahaha. I've only been to Asian stylists before for my Asian hair, but Noelle is surprisingly one of my favorite stylists that I've been with. 10/10 recommend! read more

Noelle totally FRIED my hair! After getting my ash blond hair highlighted by her, it was like frizzy, dry straw, and extremely damaged. Not only did she NOT know how to give nice light blond highlights, but she lacked knowledge about hair care in general. I've been getting my hair highlighted for 30 years and have never had an experience this BAD before. The worst part of it was that when I went back to show her what happened, she didn't seem to care, or know what to do. She didn't apologize, or offer any suggestions to help. She didn't want to admit to what she had done, so she became defensive and actually tried to blame it on me! Really??? Not only was she argumentative and unprofessional, but the idea that it was somehow MY fault was just ridiculous. I was shocked at this whole experience. She was very difficult to communicate with, but it is never acceptable to be rude and mean to a new client. I would have had a lot more respect for her if she would have just been honest and acknowledged what happened. If you need color or lightening or any chemical service for your hair, STAY AWAY from Noelle, especially if you have blond hair! It's not worth ruining your hair, and wasting your money. It took about 7 months and weekly deep conditioning for my hair to recover from what she did. She deserves ZERO stars! Trust me on this... read more

Noelle is THE best hair stylist that I have ever been to. She is incredibly professional, talented and very important, flexible to the changes that a professional like myself needs. She is ALWAYS available via text and phone to answer any questions or make changes to appointments when needed. In fact, she has come in to her studio to accomodate both mine and my husband's ridiculous schedules just so that she could be helpful. She puts herself second and her client first and foremost. Not to mention her amazing talent with color! WOWZER...this woman can do color like a mad woman! Noelle is a strong and hard working women, and it's so disappointing that they didn't support her, but put her down for wanting to be successful in what she worked so hard for!
