I needed my roots colored ciz they had grown out quite a bit and I was also exploring the idea of purple/eggplant streaks. I chatted with Danielle and sent her some photos of my hair so that she can gain a better understanding of what the results might be. She let me know that due to the regular use of box color on my dark hair, the color that I would end up with would be more red-orange than purple. Not what I want, so I opted for just a root touch-up. I got my roots colored and my hair trimmed (via dry cut) and it turned out great. My hair is VERY soft, so much so that I kept touching it, and now it has static...ugh. Price is about the same as I've paid at other salons. The owner, Danielle, was very accommodating and pleasant to talk with. read more

Danielle is an OUTSTANDING artist. She's easily one of the most talented artists I know (back in Florida I had quite a few great artists). Pair that with her incredible attitude and personality, and it doesn't get any better than that!! Danielle is SUPER professional and a perfectionist (in a great way). She went above and beyond to ensure our safety with COVID. Everything was neat, organized, and disinfected. I'm sure this isn't just a COVID thing either. My hair is STUNNING. I walked in looking like a person with a dirty restaurant mop attached to my head. That's also an understatement. I got adventurous and started bleaching my hair during COVID. BIG mistake. Don't do it. I'm so lucky to have met Danielle because honestly I don't think anyone else could have saved it like she did. She's a BEAST at color correction and blending. I wasn't sure what to expect going in because my hair was in what I thought of as irreparable and she brought everything in me back to life. I live in the Bay Area. I drove here 2.5 hrs each way. I would do it again a million times over. Danielle makes it worth it. If you've made it this far through this review, go book with her. You'd be lucky if she has room to take you in. read more

After putting off the search for a new hairstylist (I've got a lot of long, blonde hair, my pride and glory, so "new hairstylist" is a very scary term for me), I decided it was time to put my fears of bad haircuts aside and get my raggedy ends gone! I'm a few weeks late on this review which is why my hair looks the same length. It's crazy how similar they look in the pictures because I felt like a brand new person leaving there! After months of trimming my own bangs and butchering the heck out of them, it was time I went to a professional. Danielle did such a great job on my hair. I expected to only get a trim but ended up getting a full cut because she showed me I needed it. She spent a good amount of time on evening out my layers. Love how my hair flows now. My number one request of my cut was to make my round face appear slimmer lol and she sure did accomplish that by framing my face. Another great thing about her is she cuts DRY! I can not say enough good things about my experience. I need a last-minute haircut before going to a wedding in Arizona, I found her on next-door neighbor and I am so glad that I did! She was able to take me in last minute and did an absolutely amazing job. I've never had so many compliments on my hair before! I've held off on posting this review, because Danielle is nice, but she destroyed my hair. I went to her, since my current hairstylist was booked up for several months, to get balayage to blend the grow out I had. I've never had an issue with my hair lifting. I've had other hair stylists comment on how easily it lifts mo matter if its baby lights, balayage, etc., but I was really unhappy when I saw what Danielle did to my hair. The top was orange and my ends were icy. It was nowhere near the pic I showed her of what I wanted. I actually got a little emotional and told her it looked terrible, but she seemed to get frustrated with me. She just looked at me and said well, what do you want me to do? I was annoyed with that since SHE is the hairstylist. I want you to fix it. I left since the shop was closing. I called it the fire and ice look. It was terrible...not to mention Danielle was extremely rough with my fine hair. She caused soooooo much breakage. My hair is growing back, and I have tons of little wisps everywhere now. I ended up returning to her a few days later to fix the fire and ice look, because it was terrible. Not to mention, it wasn't cheap! She did a bunch of oddly placed baby lights. I just waited several months and went back to my normal hairstylist who fixed everything! I learned my lesson. read more

Danielle has been doing my hair for over 3 years - I wouldn't trust anyone else with it! My hair always has the latest trend in color and despite my lack of knowing what I want, end up with a great style and color that I get multiple compliments on. Coudn't be happier with my balayage! Danielle was great, she took time to listen and made sure I was happy with the color and outcome. She also explained each step which was great.
