I came in and asked for a Mid fade with a 3 on top. Very simple. I ended up getting a high cut with the line still showing not faded properly. When I got home and showered I looked at my hair and the line wasn't even. I forgot to get the name of the person but she had an accent with long wavy/curly hair. I had no choice but to leave with a higher fade obviously because you can't reverse that mistake. I left a tip aswell because I know how hard it is during these times hold a job and to get a haircut when businesses are closed due to covid. I was wondering if they are able to fix the mistake the following day with no charge. But unfortunately it's a Sunday and they are closed. Hopefully they can arrange something for the next time I come in because they do cut my hair fast and that's very convenient. read more

This place just feels like a sports bar where you get a hair cut. I have been there 3-4 times now and I just never got a vibe that made me comfortable. I know it is trying to be trendy and stylish, but it just isn't working. The haircuts that I have received were fine, but I never saw the same barber there, ever. That could be coincidence, but I don't think so. I guess I might give it a range of 2-4 stars as the hair cut is fine, but the feel of the place just doesn't work for me. I would give it 2 as my last trip there left me frustrated since I saw one name on the list when I signed in, but 3 people got seats to get cuts before I walked out. There wasn't any indication from the barbers that I would be waiting all that long and so it left me a bit miffed. I didn't have any more time to wait, so I left. The rating is one star for the business - not the actual barber(s). I really like the way Tammi cuts my hair but not being able to make an appointment more than 30 minutes in advance is really poor service. I have called in 35 minutes before she arrives and been told, "we can only book 30 minutes ahead." When I call back five minutes later there are four people in front of me. Why in the world can't this business join the 21st century and realize that there are those who would like to schedule an appointment with a particular barber - not take the first available or worse yet - sit and wait for several hours. Donna cut my toddlers hair and she was absolutely amazing. My son was not enjoying himself and squirming all over the place but she was so patient and managed to cut his hair just the way I wanted it. And it only cost me $12.95 + tip which was still less than I've spent at the kid-specific salons. They also had toys, suckers, and popcorn which helped distract my son. My husband got a haircut here the other night before a weekend trip, an older man cut his hair. He asked for a fade, and the guy was into the look and understood completely. He took the buzzers to his head and went all the way up! My husband responded and said "looks like it's too late for my fade" and the guy laughed. One side is faded and one is a high and tight buzz. Yesterday I decided to get my haircut, but being unsatisfied about my last cut, I decided to consult Yelp to try to improve my chances of getting a good stylist (I was not happy with my last stylist at another local franchise). I found a place called The Barbers located in the Murray Hill area of Beaverton which had a number of great reviews. I decided to take a drive to the location on Barrowers Road. Although not familiar with the area, I found the location with my trusty iPhone map app. Upon entering the shop, an attentive stylist greeted me and asked me to sign in on the sheet they have on the entrance desk. This shop, I later found upon looking the name up on the internet, is one of several of the Beaverton area franchise of a business start-up by a local couple (both hair professionals) in Clark County, Washington. This shop, I was told by my stylish Tasha, was opened in September of last year. It caters to guys and I must say that all the stylists working were very attractive and had smiles on their faces. Anyway, when it was my turn I was called and I asked the stylist if she was Lori Lee, a stylist whom I had read a glowing experience by another patron in a Yelp review. She said no, introduced herself and Lori (the manager-stylist of the shop) and gave me the option of waiting for Lori. I declined and Tasha proceeded to give me a first class haircut that exceeded my expectations. When it came time to pay, I was shocked at the reasonable price $12.95. I have paid much more for inferior cuts. Will I return . . . you bet, I like the business model of this service. read more

I have 3 boys and live near by so naturally I bring them here. When we do end up staying the cut is usually decent. But most of the time when we walk in there is one girl who tells us the wait is really long "over an hour" before we even make it to the check in desk. No "hi" or "welcome". Today I checked the list after being told there was over and hour wait and there were 2 names on it with 3 people working. It gives the impression that they don't have time for us. Who knows, we would probably be willing to sign in and come back since we live a few blocks away but it's as if they don't want our business. We usually end up going to the one on Scholls Ferry and no matter how busy they are they are always very welcoming to their customers. My 18-year-old went to your shop for a haircut this morning and he was told to just sit down and they would call him. Several other people came and went before he got brave enough to ask when his turn would and then they told him that he wasn't on the sign up list. Another man had just walked in and she started to take him back. When he heard their conversation he said, no, you were here, you go first. The barber insisted on taking this other man first, even though my son had obviously been waiting about 20 minutes and was the only person sitting there. She was extremely rude about it. Unless you call in at least 1-2 hours before, plan to wait at least 45 minutes to 2 hours. It is hard to get the same barber consistently due to the staff turnover and changing schedules. They seem to always be short staffed too. The long wait and inconsistent service do not justify the prices. read more

Decent haircut, terrible price, terrible wait! Staff was totally disinterested in cutting my hair. I've given this place two tries with the same result. Staff is more interested in talking with each other about the popcorn machine. I prefer a barber shop where I can come in, be acknowledged, and get a simple haircut. For the price they charge (be prepared to pay $16-$20), they should be able to meet that requirement.
