Friendly groomers, clean facility, convenient location. My dog's favorite. Local young entrepreneur with true love of all kinds of dogs.

This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more We brought our dog back to have his legs trimmed the way we originally requested during his first grooming. The correction was made, but nobody told us beforehand that we would be charged to fix something that wasn't done the way we asked the first time. When I questioned the charge, the man at the front counter immediately became rude and confrontational. He was disrespectful to my wife on the phone and just as rude to me in person. I wasn't arguing about the money--I simply wanted to know why I was being charged to correct a service that did not meet my original request. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he told me the service would be free and then told me to find another groomer. When I calmly explained my concerns, he became angry and threw me out of the business. At no point did I raise my voice, use profanity, or behave in a disrespectful manner. I simply asked a reasonable question and was treated like I was the problem. The issue was never the cost. Had I been told upfront that there would be a charge, I would have paid it without hesitation. The real problem was the complete lack of communication and the shocking level of hostility that followed. What makes this even more disappointing is that this business is located in an affluent neighborhood where you would expect a higher standard of professionalism and customer service. Sitting here afterward, I can't help but wonder if I was treated differently because I didn't fit the image of the typical customer in that neighborhood--or perhaps I simply didn't look wealthy enough. I have no way of knowing the employee's motives, and I'm not making that accusation as a fact. What I do know is that I was treated with a level of disrespect that no customer should ever experience. I will never return and will make sure others know about my experience. After this interaction, I understand why multiple former employees warned me to stay away from this place. If the business chooses to respond, that's their right, but these are the facts exactly as they happened.

She has coloring of a little female tiger. I have been trying to isolate her at first, so she can get used to all the sounds in the house. The process was easy and somewhat quick. It was the 3rd kennel we visited and the minute I laid eyes on her, I knew she was the one. I'm so happy to have her in my life. If you want to adopt a cat you need to be able to write a check or pay in cash. So grateful I got to her first. She's meant to be mine. Staff/volunteers are so kind and helpful. Kennel room smelled very clean. Definitely check PetSmart on River St, Santa Cruz. So happy I did Erin

This experience was honestly very disappointing…read more I have three dogs, and the cost of caring for them is significant. Beyond grooming, I also regularly spend on fresh food, treats, and other essentials, which adds up to thousands of dollars over time. This is not to brag, but to explain that I take their care seriously and expect a certain level of quality and consistency in return. However, during this visit, one of my dogs was groomed in a way that lacked overall balance and did not feel properly finished. It honestly felt worse than what I could have done at home myself, which was very disappointing. At another place, while I understand that appointments typically need to be adjusted 24 hours in advance, unexpected situations can happen. Being asked to pay $50 without any flexibility in such circumstances felt unreasonable and uncomfortable. Overall, the level of service and consistency did not match the cost, and the pricing felt unclear and inconsistent depending on the situation. These experiences have significantly reduced my trust, and I will likely choose to go a bit farther in the future to find places that are more reliable and consistent.

Beau initially was so freaked out by hair dryers that they patiently air-dried him - a process that took much longer and kept one of their crates in use much longer than they probably wanted. (Comparable to a restaurant letting diners linger at a table way longer than expected, keeping it from being turned over.) Beau always looked beautiful. They DID raise prices when they acquired the business - and they deliver service that's worth the price. I'd recommend them to anyone who loves their pooch.

While expecting clear communication of what I wanted/expected I was instead met with a simple conversation turning into what was a disrespectful debate. Communication isn't about being 'right' or 'wrong' especially when treating customers. Considering how I was treated by the staff I didn't feel comfortable at all leaving my dog with them. Their prices were ridiculous high as well and not realistic. You're better taking your pooch somewhere else unless you want to pay laughable prices and get a side of disrespectful attitude for free. Backyard groomers are just not my thing.

There's a whole lot of squirming and crying and guilting and general sanctimony coming from this fuzz butt When my Doge, Bodhi, goes to the salon it's as if he's auditioning for the part of the doomed torture-victim in the Saw horror movie franchise. There's all kinds of screaming and crying and looks of confusion from this kritter, and I think many people at auntie's pet grooming would agree that he deserves an academy award after the performance he made. I have to say, though of the couple places I've taken him. Nobody got the job done as fast, as Aunties. They did a good job. what I like is that the nail clipping procedure is done right in front of the pet's owner where said drama queen can look into the eyes of their protector as if to say "why for has thou forsaken me?" In all seriousness, Aunties is a top notch place to bring a pet for some grooming, but if you have a fairly high maintenance creature, it does make sense to book in advance and not just try to do a walk in.
