Great selection and atmosphere; however, this is only if you want to pay for one pour, what half the bottle should cost. I collect bourbon and whiskey, so I'm well aware what would be reasonable for a pour. Won't be back. If it was even close to reasonable, we would've returned. Such a hidden gem for anyone in the greater Baytown / Mount Belvieu area. And, such incredible attention to detail. The owners did a FABULOUS job with all the hand-crafted touches in and outside of this whiskey bar. I honestly can't say enough about the bar itself, the friendly staff, the small touches for patrons and the sheer beauty of the place. After ordering a Tennessee mule, I must have spent 15-20 minutes just looking at the interior, the woodwork, the paintings, the billiards, the adult themed games both inside and outside- all free as well. There is an immense projector screen in the back lounge area where you can enjoy dancing, pool, washers or the local football game. Loved this place and had we not been hungry for dinner, we likely would've stayed another couple of hours. They have a small stage tucked inside the bar, to the left as you walk in. It's really well set up and l'm already looking forward to returning when we're in town again. Another cool small feature I noticed were electric outlets in every room, nestled below the chairs for charging your devices or anything else needing power. Man. So impressed. Great bar to hangout at. Always good live music and many drinks to choose from. It's even great to hang outside on the patio. Sometimes they could be slow at taking drinks but they serve them typically pretty quick. I do wish they had a food menu. read more

Not your average neighborhood bar. This is an establishment and venue that has put a lot of attention in the details. Whiskey and all of its variants are obviously the focus. But even if Whiskey isn't your thing, there's still a good time to be had at The Barn. Plenty of good musical artists coming through on a regular basis. I was told by them that I was hired and and even got a voicemail by one of them. If I remember right the guy that called me was named Michael. So I called them back and I got nothing in return. So I tried calling back 2 days later and got the same result. If you're going to call a person and hire them then you need to reach out to them when they call back. They can't just drop everything that they're doing for your needs. It's your loss on having someone that not only has 20 years of bartending experience but yet also knows how to market and get word out about a business. It's close to home. Can't complain... but don't expect to hear anything but country.. a man was sitting at the dj area near the jukebox stand and I was told "the jukebox doesn't work" before even reaching it. Drinks are ok, depending on how you order them. Staff is great and the place is beautiful. Only had problems with one tall male bartender. He was tipped well despite wanting to do his job. Asked for a hat, he told us "they were out". Another kind gentleman went to the back and got us the hat we had asked for. read more
