What a unique experience! Donovan and Rebecca opened their doors in the Baytown area about 6 weeks…read moreago and provide a night of entertainment you won't soon forget. They hail from over two decades of headliner performances all over the world. Wow. We found street parking pretty easily and walked a short block to their 510 West Texas location. As soon as you cross their threshold, date night begins. Or maybe you're connecting with your besties? Celebrating an anniversary or just getting out for a one of a kind night. This would deliver on all fronts. Cozy. Fun. Chill. Surprising. Energetic. These are the words that kept coming up for me and the party I was with. Pair a great night of organic entertainment with wine and craft beer and what's not to like? We started with a moscato and ended with a sweet red wine blend. Prices are what you'd expect and buying by the bottle was very doable. My guy had several German beers while others in our party stayed on the lighter side with craft beers from Galveston Bay Brewing. Whatever you like, there are options. We also spied a gorgeous charcuterie board at a nearby table. We were tempted despite having just eaten, lol. As if cozy seating and a wine bar isn't enough, Donovan and Rebecca also bring in local artists who are spectacular. We met two tonight - one aerial performer named Aaron and another creative man with a killer 'stash. If you've not seen someone performing on silks, add Donovan and Rebecca to your list. You won't be disappointed. It was such a fun night.

What an amazing experience. I love the speakeasy vibe, but this was a new level…read more The vibe: dark lighting, techno swing music, friendly hosts, chairs for lounging, smoke fog for aerial performances, charcuterie boards and bottles of wine and beer. It's very relaxed and has a great social feel to it. OK, so I loved everything about this. The music, the lighting, the performances... All of it. From the road, the building sits quietly in the dark. You would never know all of this is behind two nondescript black doors. The aerial artist was so beautiful and graceful. We found out that she's also a nurse! She had amazing strength and agility. Well done! Currently, preformances are from 8-9pm Wednesday - Saturday. We arrived at 7:30, which was perfect. Gives you time to get your drinks, find a seat, and get settled. Be sure to check out their wall of world records in the hallway to the restrooms. Also, look up Donavan and Rebecca on America's Got Talent. Truly an amazing couple. We really can't wait to go here again. Did I mention that I love it?

I came here for my birthday on a Saturday. We had a party of 9 and I made a reservation in advance…read morebecause Saturday night just seems like a busy night to go eat anywhere... but I'm not sure my reservation was totally necessary. They had our table already prepared which was fantastic, but the restaurant was slow and not very busy. We could've just walked in and, other than having to wait for them to prepare our table, been seated right away. Our waitress, Moriah, was fantastic! She had tables on opposite sides of the restaurant, but since they weren't very busy it didn't seem to be an issue. There were a couple of times when we had to ask for drink refills, but it wasn't horrible. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, and I appreciate that they have some options that you wouldn't find just anywhere. That's the kind of thing I look for in a restaurant. However there were a few places where they fell short. 1. There was no kids menu. This may not be a big deal for a lot of people. It wasn't a big deal for me since my toddler eats pretty much anything, so we shared. It WAS however a big deal for my 6 year-old niece who does NOT eat anything. They told my sister that they could make some butter noodles or take the harissa off of a pizza and make it a smaller size for her. She opted for the butter noodles which were bland and unseasoned. Then they have no salt or pepper on the tables so she couldn't even season them until she asked for some. It helped, but they still weren't very good. 2. The food is overpriced. It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. I'd be happy to go if someone chose this as an option, and I might even choose to go back for a date night or something. I like the atmosphere of the place as well as how open it felt... I don't love a crowded space. Another thing I loved was the Smoked Caramel Bread Pudding. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I don't typically love added smoke flavor, but this worked! Listen, I LOVE bread pudding. If there's ever bread pudding on the menu, I'm going to get it. This being my birthday dinner dessert was absolutely fine by me. The edges were a little caramelized and it was absolutely delicious and everyone who tried it agreed. Give this place a try, but just know that you may pay a little more than what it's worth. It's still tasty food though! Also... try the bread pudding!

Upon their departure we dined...AND RETURNED!! The music selection included a bassist that evening which included the likes of Tool, Alice In Chains, Sublime, classic, contemporary, and all over the place music. Again. Fun.
