This, by far has been the worst service we've received in our local community. Out waitress was very patient and supportive, (totally not her fault,) however the wait for our food thus far has been 2.5 hours for a table of 7. Finally, food was delivered while writing this and in a shorter version, we will never be back here, order a pizza or hit McDonalds instead, would love to see a great restaurant thrive here, Pot Bay needs it! read more

It is so rare to find a waterfront restaurant with good food and good service. Bayfront has great food and great service. It's immaculately clean too, inside and out. We were greeted and sat immediately, they are very sweet with children. Even respectful of asking the parents before the ice cream is brought up. The fish sandwich was fantastic! I would highly recommend taking a drive out. read more

Restaurant is set on West Port Bay. There is a fireplace &. Bar as you enter. The tables overlook the bay. I had white sauced clams over linguine. My husband had the Chicken French. The salad was a great mix of greens with embellishments. I asked for crumbled blue cheese dressing and was served crumbled blue cheese not in dressing. so I asked had to ask for oil. which I would of liked a vinegar or lemon to cut the oil. My entree was very tasty. My husband's chicken french came with shaved Parmesan cheese over a bed of pasta. He is not a fan of that cheese and so we had to remove it. I am not use to this presentation. Otherwise his entree tasted good but the lemony sauce over pasta was not to his taste. That said. I would try them again. They have a reasonably priced fish fry Fridays. This owner took over this restaurant last summer . read more

Great food, bayfront whaler was outstanding. Sitting outdoors on a nice day is perfect. A reason to come to wherever I am right now.

This place is rude and they cant pour a decent drink. And they charge way too much. You have to have a reservation for takeout. Locals are not welcome. I have been here several times years ago and the new owners do not have a clue to this area. read more

We had heard not so good reviews but decided to try Bayfront for ourselves. It's just across the bay from our cottage. The atmosphere is nice, the service was good and the food was delicious. I recommend the Bayfront Scampi. Will definitely go back again. read more

The view is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is bland. And wait time is long on a day when they weren't busy.

We came onto this place when out cruising in the T-top. I'm sure this is a well kept secret of the Port Bay boaters and is seasonal. The food was outstanding & we hit it during a quiet part of the afternoon (not too many boaters) so it was pleasant & we ate outside. Each of our meals were very good. Service was locals and family so we had to ask twice for a condiment but the atmosphere was relaxed. I'm sure this place can get hopping, An outdoor bar was set up for evenings and there were lots of picnic tables but I'd bet it's mostly boaters. This was one of the best meals of the summer for me (better than my daughter's wedding I'm sad to say). Yeah, I'll go back. read more

Usually have very good meals here but tonight was exceptionally terrible. Ordered the prime rib medium rare and my friend ordered the surf and turf with medium rare NY Strip. Both cuts of meat were served well done, both were gray, and both were extremely tough. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner that was very disappointing. I'm stuck between three and four stars on this place. I settled on four because everyone wanted our dining experience to be the best. If you are in the Port Bay/Wolcott area this place is a safe bet. Many dishes are made in house including their lasagna and Jamaican jerk chicken, which were two of the dishes that were ordered by our table of 10. Burgers and sandwiches were a hit as was the lobster bisque. The salad was a snoozer however given that it was just iceberg lettuce with a tired tomato and cucumber (I know what do I expect in New York in December) and boxed croutons with an overly sweetItalian dressing. The wings would've been better if they had stayed in the fryer another two or three minutes. Is this place a "must visit"? If you're in the neighborhood most definitely yes. Even better if you're coming in by boat as the dining room and deck have a wonderful view of the waterfront. read more

Don't miss this gem! They have a surprisingly good selection of drinks and beers on tap. There were three of us and we all had amazing food. Prices were very reasonable and the service was friendly and attentive. The views are breathtaking and the leather sofas were comfortable for relaxing and enjoying our drinks. It was our first time at this great place but it won't be our last. read more
