Nice cozy little bar. Laid back and well stocked. Friendly staff. Kitchen wasn't open so they ordered us food from another place.

We came on a Sunday at round lunch time. The service was great, their weren't a lot of people . I believe the owner servers us. Very nice guy also told us about the "Bluffs " and where to find them. Never heard of it. We didn't go that day but we do plan on it. They have a fall drink menu. I tried an apple mojito for the first time and it was delicious. We ordered a beef brisket sandwich and their Hell Fired Pizza. The brisket was dry. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce and it helped, plus I did really like the sauce. The bun was toasted perfect. The pizza was good, didn't care for the sauce, it needed more flavor but the toppings were great and a lot of it. I also liked the crust. Definitely will be going back.

The place is large, inside there's lots of tables and a few couches to relax at, massive bar with about 50 seats... open air bar that over looks the lake. You can access the bar inside and out. Unfortunately only two bartenders were on and it was busy... service was slow but they were nice... not great with serving in order... be prepared to wait. Lots of great draft beer available I had a southern tier ipa... served in plastic cups.. understand why but prefer a glass. No need able service so back to the bar to order food, my table was served but I was not. Took awhile for the bartender to find/get my order out. They have a girl that brings out the food to numbers on your table and it was so unorganized. We actually felt bad for her, most of the time she would just come out and yell what she had..ugh There was entertainment the night we stopped in, Jon Lamanna was performing inside. He was good, very personable and interactive with the room. Seems like they have a lot of events inside and out. Large outside pavilion with plenty of seats and lounge chairs. Lawn games spread out.

We have been going to Colloca for about 5 years. We look forward going a couple times each summer. In the beginning it was a great experience. It was clean, food was very good with a fair price. the past 4 visits over the last 2 years we can see how the quality has diminished. Last year I went and around the bar the trash bins were overflowing causing trash on the floor blowing everywhere. The staff knew this and din nothing. At the same time wine started to be served in plastic cups and at a higher price. This year I took my sister and her Bf from AZ there and it was a joke. The wait for food was a long long time and when it came it was not up to the same quality as in the past. I was sorry I wasted my sisters night here. We gave it another try last week. Still plastic cups with and even higher price. The pizza I ordered was the Americano but they were out of meatballs. The pizza itself was a joke. Burnt crust with so many airholes it look like caves built into the pizza for stuffing. A total waste. We are done with Colloca for this season and I doubt I will be waiting all winter to go there next spring. Whoever they hired to manage that area and the chef of the kitchen should be fired NOW.

Second: We lucked out with the BEST WAITRESS I've had in over one year. Ms. Amy S was so pleasant, attentive and just a sweet lady. Third: The food was served beautifully and good size portions. There was one very minor issue with my wife's dinner and before I had a chance to say ANYTHING...it was taken off our bill as a comp by the Manager. All in all this was a perfect location for a nice quiet casual dinner with my wife as we watched the water. BRAVO! Paul & Coleen Clapper, Syracuse, NY

My dad had the stout and a tester of the brown ale, both delicious, as was the cider we sampled. Restaurant is light and airy, while keeping the charm and architecture of the old building. Beautiful view of the river, in a cute downtown area, plenty of off street parking. We went for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't packed, quite a few at the tables filled but service remained attentive. Best bartender too!

I'm at my second visit now- Bluegrass, Blues, and BBQ is the event, Boots and Shorts is the band tonight. The wife and I are enjoying the music, and our BBQ plates are long gone. Hopefully they revisit this again, the flavors from the smoked pork, chicken, and ribs were testament to the time invested in their preparation. Our previous visit was on their first shot at featuring local stand up. The jokes were a little rough, but we really enjoyed trying our friend's recommendations for menu options. I'm not a fan of "hamburger pizza" in the least bit, but believe me when I tell you- try the bacon cheeseburger flatbread! I think it's the special sauce, but bacon is rarely a let down either. Their onion rings are easily among my favorites in town, and the chicken tenders are decent too (our friend raved about them, but I think he over sold them a bit- they weren't as mind-blowing as he was talking them up to be, maybe I just got a mediocre batch). Also, even while not being a big fan- the sweet potato fries were a way better option than the regular fries. Unfortunately there weren't any fried cheese curds (of course they're out- they're delicious!), and unfortunately there isn't any room left to stuff more food, but I look forward to being a repeat customer to work myself through their awesome menu and continue to sample the large variety of local beers. P.S. Love me some retro games, but with they'd flash back to the penny or nickle arcade game days...I still suck at most of these.
