Driving back to Boston we thought would stop and try a new sandwich shop. Overall, it was fine, but…read moreI certainly won't be rushing back. The Customer Service was very friendly and the place is cute with lots of outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were lackluster. Pretzel roll was dense and a bit stale. The multigrain bread was delicious, but don't ask for anything toasted because apparently it's a problem. And the tuna fish, was bland. It needed more mayo or some capers or something to give it a kick. Finally, chocolate chip cookie, was soft and good chocolate, but the cookie itself was bland.

I cannot get over how good their German breakfast sandwich was! I can honestly I never would have thought of doing breakfast on a pretzel, and I'm sad this was a first because it was THAT good! Also, I must say picking a breakfast item was super hard because the entire menu is just top notch. Their coffees are so delicious too! It was hard to pick hot or iced, so I may have gotten one of each. Oops! I do not regret this choice at all! I also had to take some of their freshly baked items home for the remainder of the week. I cannot wait to get my hands on them! This place was packed, but it ran effective! The young man who greeted me was wonderful, the cashier was sweet, the barista was excellent and the owner was the most friendly, and helpful gentleman! I can see why it was packed---this cafe is an all around win! It's adorable inside the dining room, staff is great, menu is diverse and super unique, and everything was amazing! I will be back soon!

The Brown Jug is a super cute, quaint food shop that serves sandwiches, pizza, and has an excellent…read morewine collection in Sandwich! Their shop also had varieties of snacks that would go with a perfect bottle of wine that you'll grab there - lots of options. Service was friendly. On this trip, we had pizza, sandwiches and wine. We sat outside in the courtyard area to enjoy our pizza and beverages - perfect place for a lunch!

I recommend this store for many reasons; we've been there about two dozen times when futzing about…read moreJarvesville. First, they are an everything artisan food store: sandwiches to be made or pre-made to-go, a fine wine collection (caveat emptor - they tend to store the finer wines vertically - a major wine faux paus), fine artisan pasta, organic bakery, and a very nice British-style candy offering. Secondly, in the wine room off to the side they have a table and chairs where you can sit and sip your coffee. No bathroom. Only one table. With four chairs. My only complaint, well, not really a complaint per se, an observation. In my empirical experience, the lady who runs the cash register seemingly watches you, as though you are going to shoplift. It's a little uncomfortable, as we are Harvard educated yuppies, dressed right out of the Preppy Handbook, and we don't present ourselves in a sketchy or shifty manner. It's ok, ma'am, that little inconvenience is worth your offerings a couple of times a year. It's Jarvesville, not Twin Peaks.

Great beer, great service, and great location!…read more Was on the Cape attending a wedding, so I was able to check off another TH location. What better way to spend a day at the beach than to do it with a tasty beverage from the country's finest brewery and with my bff.

They DID have one porter that was only served at the lower bar, which was closed. Really? 8 IPAs upstairs and you choose to put the porter downstairs? Whatever. No ambers, no reds. No N/A sodas or other drinks except Treehouse products which included a few seltzers. Food is set up in out buildings off the patio. Pizza was by the slice only and is really good if you like New Haven style. My wife thought it tasted like Tombstone so to each their own on that. They also had lobstah rolls available with their "treehouse style" butter dip that had a spicy flavor. No other food except bags of kettle chips. Outdoor seating is great if the weather cooperates. Canopies provide some shade. Plenty of seating indoors especially when the patio gets full. Overall we found the location and setting to be stellar, the food to be limited, and the beer variety anemic. Still worth a stop if in the area. Parking is very limited but they have a remote lot with a shuttle bus.
