Everything was over priced (breakfast for 2 was around $55) overly salty and too sugared. I ate half of mine and felt sick the remainder of the day. It was also heavily wrapped in packaging even though we ate at the restaurant (they only make to go orders but you can sit there with your packaged food). Lastly they do not have normal cups (they have cone cups) for water (and refused to give me a plastic cup when I inquired for one) so you can't drink water from the tap while eating you must purchase bottled water. read more

Great new spot in Beacon in Stock Up's old space. Food has been pretty good so far. Some of the food is a little overwhelming in the flavor department. We've eaten here twice in a week and in general both experiences have been good. Some specific comments... The kitchen is still finding its stride. Some orders have come out incorrect. This is expected for a new joint. French Toast sticks are too sweet. Powdered sugar, raw sugar, syrup and icing are just too much. Dial it back a hair. The bread for the Porchetta sandwich is a little too greasy and rich combined with the porchetta. Eggplant parm had ricotta instead of parm. Strange. Potato salad... amazing. Tots bowl... amazing. Porchetta... amazing. Drink selection... very good. Service... needs some work. It will sort itself out. Atmosphere... great. People... great. Patio... fantastic. read more

I'm giving this place four stars because my fiancé and our friends enjoyed their sandwiches. My Cubano was incredibly salty and cold, and there was very little meat on it; overall, I was really disappointed. My fiancé had the pulled pork, which he ate quickly (a good sign) and our friends had the meatball (delicious) and I can't remember what else. The sandwiches on French bread (or whatever they call it there) all had an excess of bread, but the bread was really high quality. Oddly, they just wrap the sandwiches in a piece of foil even when you're eating there. And you have to get your own napkins. I'd expect a little more service when you're paying $10 or more for a sandwich Ina small town (and they were not even remotely busy), but these are millennials and, based on everywhere I've ever been, good customer service is not something they provide. The beverage situation is really confusing and they don't seem to keep the beer list up-to-date. You're supposed to pick your own beer from the refrigerators, and you can't really see what they are because the text on most of the cans is pretty small. The restroom was disgusting. It wasn't clean. And how about not forcing everyone to look at a urinal? read more

Called in a Cubano, person on the phone said "10 minutes or less." Arrived 10 minutes later and waited in line to pay. To my surprise when I reached the counter they asked for my name so they could call out when my sandwich was ready. Okay, stuff happens. Cool, no problem. After that though, I waited for over 20 minutes - only for the folks at the register to finally realize my sandwich had been sitting there on the counter for god knows how long. Haven't even taken a bite of this Cubano yet but if it's good I'll bump it up a few stars. My initial impression is that service needs improvement. We used to get take-out from Beacon Daily consistently. Then we ordered and picked it up as normal. Looking forward to a nice lunch. Well, the first bite was all that was needed. The smoked turkey was no longer purchased from the same supplier or they switched to lesser quality meat. The turkey was slimy and had no taste. In connection with that, we noticed charges to our bill not seen before. We were being charged for ordering online. Yes, ordering online. So I decided to go back with the intention of providing usable feedback. We were told that the meat was different and the charge was something new. The cashier asked if we wanted to speak to the owner. He was very defensive and in your face. He told the cashier to give us a $15 gift card. Only to find out they never activated it. He is a little guy with a little guy's complex. This guy does not give a damn for his customers. He wants to cut costs, there are other ways. Not a bait and switch and conning us with an empty gift card. I understand the same has continued since we no longer go there. It takes years to develop a strong clientele. A set of changes for profit mixed with lies, lose a client forever. Do yourself a favor, don't ever go there. read more

I'm not one to ever ever post any bad reviews-actually this is my second time ever - The funeral home is on the same street, a sad morning for us already, My poor husband went to get breakfast and a total disaster, he literally had to go back in three times, 1 eggs sandwich and I sausage breakfast sandwich with 2 coffees/ $22 and they couldn't get it right. Never ever will I give my business to them again! Inconsiderate and he felt disrespected, they didn't even apologize- my sandwich was sloppy and greasy- I had one bite and couldn't eat it because of the intense grease. I'm a business owner for 20 years and I've never ever seen my husband be so disgusted by their lack of detail and attention, yes thumbs down for sure! I used to love stock up so I was excited to learn about a new restaurant that took its place. The first time I went in the cook recommended the chicken sandwich which was on a cheddar biscuit for a bun. The cook made our sandwiches, cut them, I guess realized they weren't fully cooked and put them under the broiler to finish. Not a good look at all. The sandwich was okay but the cheddar biscuit bun was way too soft and was not like an authentic biscuit imo. The second time I went in I ordered a cubano, I saw the cook go into the back. Take out a huge box of already pre made sandwiches and put it under the broiler to warm. I can literally go to subway and get a fresh made sandwich get here they're pre making potentially days before? That's disgusting and pathetic. The sandwich was poorly portioned(way too little meat and too much bread) the pork was tough and the ham was mediocre. I'm gonna think twice about giving this place my money again next time until they get some cooks who give a damn. read more

We love Beacon and loved to buy in Beacon. First I want to say I love Beacon Daily Daily's sandwiches. They are the bomb.. Especially the Italian combo.. it is so delicious. The people who are there are very nice and easy going. I have one complaint.. I brought my 18 year old son the waffle, bacon and hash brown. By the way he loves their hash browns and makes sure I get them for him when I order( please try them). The bad part is the waffle was actually for a child.. It was two disks and they were so hard, he couldn't eat them and the bacon was not crunchy. They were very soggy. I would have taken them back but he just informed me about his meal today.. I want to say that I will continue to go back there.. but may not want to get their breakfast menu.. it was $8.00 for just the waffles and I don't recall how much the bacon was.. Went for a drive during the covid lockdown period and decided to get some take out. Food was packed nicely in a bag and we just grabbed it and left, trying to reduce contact. Food is excellent even if the tater tots were a little greasy. Sodas were ice cold, very nice! However, we were not given any napkins, straws or dips, not even ketchup for the tots. read more

My boyfriend and I recently moved upstate and have found so many great cafes and brunch spots in the area. This is not one of them. We waited about 40 mins for 2 simple sandwiches (which fell apart in our hands as we ate them), AND they forgot my avocado. The girl in line behind us actually canceled her order and left because it was taking too long! Went here for the 1st time (September 1, 2022) Asked what vegan options they had and was recommended the Burrata salad. Asked for 1 extra Green Goddess dressing and was given a dirty look. Went to the park to eat. As I was eating I noticed there was old broccoli on this small- tiny salad. ($15.00) Then I noticed as I was eating there was rotten lettuce (not just brown but rotten), I took the salad back and asked for a refund, wanted to make me another salad, I refused. I asked for the Owner and he came out and repeated without a smile, but a dirty look we do not give refunds. I demanded and the owner was very arrogant (Why are you eating cheese if you're vegan?) I said I went with the referral and did not know Barrata was cheese, however i did not eat the cheese or the rest of they salad. I love this place. I've been there twice and followed them on Instagram before making my way in. I haven't had a Saturday off from work In years so my first day off I went in for breakfast with my boyfriend. We were not disappointed. He ordered a brekkie bowl and I ordered the waffle bread pudding. Ok first of all how do tots stay that crispy under sausage and egg goodness? It was awesome. Now to my perfection of bread pudding for breakfast with cherries on top, it was the perfect concoction of sweet and tart. I took home a monstrous sized macaron that my boyfriend and I finished later. The portion was perfect and I can appreciate grabbing my own napkins and utensils, I'm not lazy and like the idea of taking what I need and leaving what I don't. Happy with our first experience we decided to return on a weeknight. I had the Cuban which was perfect and my boyfriend had the pulled pork which was equally perfect and they gave us some tots to share since I had mentioned what a sucker I am for fried potato goodness. We got to meet some of the team and the man behind the grill, super chill, hardworking down to earth people.
