Our kids ordered Açaí bowls while I just had a cappuccino. We made our way to the back courtyard, which was wide open and great for two young kids to run about without bothering anyone. The interior is inviting. While I didn't take pictures of the food, it was simply because we dug right in. The presentation of the food was exquisite and the kids barely looked up from their bowls; that's a good sign! We made sure to buy some coffee beans on the way out, which we are now enjoying at home.

I have no doubt if you are looking for something in particular the owner either has it or will go out of her way to locate it for you. Further, the prices are VERY REASONABLE. As a collector of milk glass I am an avid antique shopper and I have a good handle on pricing. For example there was an antique chandelier priced at $95, and an antique end table priced at $30, and a ornate milk glass vase priced at $14 (I have seen this exact vase located elsewhere for double). I did enjoy a fabulous Raspberry Italian Soda, the perfect amount of flavoring, including whipped cream and a cherry. Super good!!! I was a little nervous at first because I'm picky about my bread (no wonder bread for me, please) and I wasn't sure what Dave's Killer Bread was. But Dave really knows his bread and the sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere is eclectic but fitting and today we had a musician playing and singing Spanish ballads which was fun. There is also a little antique store that is worth browsing through. The only thing that would have made the experience better is the coffee cups are all disposable even if you are eating in and it would have been nice to have such a good coffee in a real cup. Regardless, this won't be our last visit and it is a great addition to Main Street. On a side note, 10 or 15 years ago my wife and I had a pumpkin soup in Germany that was amazing and has been for us the holy grail of soups. Then one day I had found out there was this place inside the college. That's the one inconvenience, you would have to go inside nmsu, which isn't open year round. However, they have variety of bagels and cream cheese/spread and the goodies that go inside your bagel. Sad they were out of the lox because that's my favorite !
