Part of the large outdoor seating patio

Stopped in for breakfast at Grounded Cafe this morning for breakfast. A bit underwhelmed and disappointed as there were only four items on the breakfast menu. I opted for a bowl of overnight oats that included some banana and strawberry. It was just OK. Also had my Americano with a bit of almond milk that kind of curdled in the cup. On the plus side, they did have self serve packets of Stevia, which is always appreciated. This is a walk up to the counter and order kind of place. The inside does have a pretty cool kind of living room vibe. The real fun is the outdoor seating patio that includes tiled, furniture, brick floor, and completely shaded so a nice spot on a hot day. Despite having my marked service dog with me, was told dogs cannot be inside. A member of the staff did bring my coffee and oats out to me, so much appreciated. An OK visit even though my expectations for a full breakfast were not available. If that's what you're looking for would not stop in here. Think their strength the pizza and wine thing.

Arrived early to prep for a meeting my husband had. Ordered a cold brew and he ad the everything bagel. The food was pretty good, but the service was not. The barista seemed incapable of acknowledging us while doing something else (think whe may have been testing the first shots of espresso when we arrived). I understand if you are busy, but at least make eye contact and maybe smile... I had a question on the way out and had the same response. Oh well. The ambiance was great, love the layout with multiple areas at different levels.

Grounded is one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been to. Huge space, multiple rooms, beautiful flooring, furniture, artwork, and plants. The coffee menu is completely plant based, so that was a little disappointing as I love whole milk in my lattes, but the oat milk complimented the cardamom maple iced latte well. The person who took and made my order was so kind and informative. Definitely recommend!

Such a nice coffee shop and not too far from the I10. We stopped by and quickly found a parking spot across the street. We walked in and we were quickly welcomed in. I ordered an iced matcha with with Mexican vanilla syrup and it was delicious. It was very creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. The inside was clean and spacious. It was pretty busy so all the spots with the cute murals / seats were taken. Employees were friendly and the drink was good, I would so come back!

Very cool and unique coffee spot. I had an Iced Mazapán Latte and it was very different, but good. The inside was pretty busy and most seating areas were taken. The bathroom was cute and also nicely decorated and clean. Staff was friendly.

Grounded is that effortlessly cool, hipster-chic hangout that just radiates good energy. Set inside a charming old downtown New Mexico building, it's got cozy rooms, study nooks, and a peaceful courtyard that feels like an escape. I had the vegan pizza and a matcha cookie (so good!), and everything here leans vegan and vegetarian-friendly -- from the bowls to the bakery case to the amazing coffee. They carry local roasters' beans, plus super cool merch, stickers, and retail finds. It's also the go-to hub for what's happening around town -- their walls are covered with flyers for festivals, yoga, art shows, and raves. Whether you're here to chill, study, or just soak up the scene, Grounded is where Las Cruces comes to connect and vibe.

Visiting from Albuquerque, this was the cutest coffee shop find and totally a place I'd be spending lots of time if I lived in the area. It is located in the downtown area and we came during the farmers market time so it was pretty poppin. I really like the vibe and their marketing is super cute. I was really surprised by their menu offerings, including the selection of food. They had everything from bowls to pizza. We didn't try any food, but I did really enjoy my latte. Staff was really friendly and they had some cute swag, including a T-shirt I bought.

Great place to chill and enjoy a cup of joe. The friendliness of the place can be felt from the moment you step in. We dropped by to get a coffee to go, and it was delicious. I ordered a Mexican Vanilla latte and when it was ready, they called for my name shortly after my order. Plant based , but still better than I expected. You too, will be surprised... less so, now because I told you. The vibe again was the coolest thing. Some folks were working off the free wifi. Some folks were just hanging out and conversing. They have books to read, if you want. I felt no pressure to leave there, but we were on the go. It was bigger than your typical coffee shop. It comes as no surprise that they have live music. I would stop by again...

Biiiig fan of the Brussel sprouts and lavender coffee (yes I got the same flavor again). Coffee is very strong and can't wait to try some more entrees here. Everyone is super friendly too, more of a neighborhood than city vibe which is great.

Came in before work for a chai. This is my second visit no my third visit. Child took 15 minutes and three people after me got their orders before me. I'm now late to work. It wasn't a priority to get my mine. Stopping in before we're coping that there would be some expediency at a local Mom pop shop. Not sure why I got my order after three other people be after me, but I probably won't be back.

This place is soooooo cute!! It is spacious and a multi-purpose place with yummy drinks and bites. I got a cortado to go as well we're stopping by on our way to the farmers market right outside. The service was super quick and really nice. The vibes are super good and the cute space made me want to stay and hang around even though we had to leave. Will definitely be back for more and to try their yummy smelling pizzas!

The board - Pretzel Pasto - came with a variety of cheeses and meats which are changed up frequently by the chef, so definitely ask what will be on the board if you have allergies or preferences. Fruits and delicious olives were also part of the board as was some very tasty queso. Topping it all off was the chocolate chips that melted by being embraced by the baked pretzel - delightful. This is a great board that can actually be your meal for the evening. When in Las Cruces, you must try all things that have green chile, since the board did not come with chiles, we had to order the mac and cheese. Of course this was amazing and I considered ordering a second bowl for the table. Our server was very friendly and checked in on us if we needed anything or wanted more of a something from the charcuterie board. Salud! is absolutely worth a visit!

Our server was very friendly and checked in on us often. He was very accommodating when we asked to exchange the raspberries on our charcuterie platter for a different item. The Pretzel Pasto is amazing! A giant pretzel serves as the vessel for the chef's selection of meats and cheeses, along with fresh fruit, chocolate chips that melt like frosting on the hot pretzel, and gooey delicious queso. We also split a small bowl of the green chile mac and cheese and regretted not getting a larger bowl. For dessert, the creme brulee bombo was unlike anything I have had--an Italian puffed donut filled with cream, but this cream was bruleed on top with a thick, crisp layer like creme brulee, so it was like having two desserts in one. It came with a side of prickly pear syrup, but I chose to skip that. Excellent experience at Salud! de Mesilla.

The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.

There's a lot happening here in the best way: they sell records, infused coffee beans, merch, and even fresh sourdough loaves, giving the place a curated, community-driven vibe. The music sealed the deal--hip-hop with strong Common / A Tribe Called Quest energy--setting a relaxed, soulful tone that makes you want to stay awhile.
