We were both looking forward to them as we drove home. The burrito tastes just of syrup. No chicken or waffle flavor. Noticed this cute cafe while using the Tesla supercharger located in its parking lot. Decided to stop in to try something since I needed to use the restroom anyway. The ambiance here is nice. The restroom was very clean and able to easily accommodate me in my wheelchair. No complaints about the customer service, the young lady at the counter was very pleasant. We ordered the brisket tacos. They were well made meaning the lettuce & tomato was fresh, the brisket was reasonably tender and the tortillas were nice and warm. Only real complaint was that the meat lacked flavor, like no seasoning at all. The accompanying sauces didn't do much to cover up the fact that the meat had no flavor. My husband had the strawberry lemonade. He found it to be a little on the tart side. I had an olipop, I was very pleased to find that they sold them. A very sit down and enjoy your coffee and work type of vibe when you first walk in. I tried their horchata latte and yum. The hints of cinnamon gave it that perfect touch. I had been coming to this location to charge my uh hum yes, Tesla, prior to the business opening. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of Tesla chargers here and I should note, they were here long before the business. However, there is an adjacent lot where other vehicles can park as well. The business owners and employees are so welcoming! Even allowing us to use the restroom while charging before they opened for business. The restaurant is modern and nicely decorated. It's always so clean and the staff are so sweet! I love their waffles and especially the bacon, egg, and cheese. It's classic and delicious! My favorite drink so far is the butter pecan latte. You could see the bag of premade (probably from the day before) waffles to be re-heated on waffle griddle the counter. All the toppings were delicious and fresh. Disastrous. I ordered my coffee first with flavors to choose from posted on their wall. When the staff said they didn't have that, I asked if they were out and the response was "No, we don't know what that's up there." It was the number 2 flavor listed on their board... Then I ordered food, standing at the cashier, looking up at the menu and asked for the Waffle Tater. The description said hash browns in the waffle topped with egg and choice of suasage or bacon. That is not my typo, that is how it appears on their menu. When it was given to me, the sausage was on the side and I asked if the eggs were mashed inside. I was told I was given what I ordered - the Waffle Tater. Yes, that is what I ordered, walked back in front of the menu and read the description. Then I was asked if I wanted the Loaded or Breakfast Waffle Tater. I pointed out to the staff there is nothing on this menu above the words Waffle Tater to indicate it should be called something other than that and it says with egg, etc. They looked up to see exactly what I was pointing at. Then they just kept asking me if that's what I wanted; that's what I ordered! That is what I expected since I ordered it right off their own menu. I gave up and took my food outside to eat in the car. Opened the container and it wasn't even hash browns. It was tator tots. And in one bite I knew they must have been frozen ones too. They were still ice cold. Their menu does not match what you will receive for your drink or your food. We decided to try out the new restaurant: Roasted Rooster Coffee & Waffles today. This location has a unique concept (coffee tea and waffles). They do have chicken, bacon and brisket to add to their sandwiches, made with waffles. My wife had a half order of waffles with strawberries, and I had their Frito pie (beans, corn, red and green chiles, brisket and Fritos). The waffles and the Frito pie were very good. When we first arrived, there was a line waiting to order and there was a shortage of empty tables and chairs, but by the time we had placed our order, a table was vacant for us. We noticed that the ordering line was short went we went to leave, so timing plays a big role. Service was fine and the country/ "rooster" decor was nice. read more

I'm intrigued by this restaurant. We had wonderful service, the food had cool combinations and I wanted to be head over heels because it was so cute. I split the chicken and waffles and a hash brown waffle fries. My dad got the chicken and waffle burrito. If I do mine again, I would leave the peanut butter sauce off. It didn't add to the dish. It was tasty, although the chicken nuggets on top were dried out and absolutely could be better. So on to the burrito. Its presentation was fantastic! The burrito it rolled inside of a crispy cheese shell. That was a good start. However the chicken nuggets inside were Sahara Desert dry too. My dad ate half and decided he did not want to take the other half home. That's not his norm, he almost always likes leftovers. The two times I have been in, the service is slow and the employees acted like they just didn't care you were there. It takes forever for an order to come out, one couple got one entree, then their drinks, then another entree...they looked upset too. My scoop of ice cream took 15 minutes and then they called the wrong name for it. The chicken is baked and not fried on the waffles. The choice of just ordering a basic cup of coffee or tea that doesn't have 20 ingredients seems to confuse the counter staff. Perhaps they just want to be fancy because it's a Tesla charging station. I just want pleasant service and a cup of coffee quickly. Ya won't get either here. Certainly not worth my time for the price of their food and the haphazard way they deliver it. The corn tortillas tasted like they warmed them in a microwave and then tried to toast them. Ended up making them hard and stale. I wanted pork tacos but they were out so had to settle for chicken. But the chicken was dry. :/ the flavor was tasty but with dry chicken and tough tortillas - difficult to say it was good. Blah! The food is okay. The recently seem to have increased the prices. It's greasy and quick food so it doesn't make sense to up the charges but I get it in times of recession. The one thing that concerns is me how the ambiance is. It's a coffee shop and the employees can see that there are some people eating and studying and yet the music is so loud. Despite giving feedback on two different occasions, I found that they still haven't fixed it. I feel like they lose a good customer base of students because of their music issues. Most people end up at grounded or milagro because they end up giving a good coffee shop vibe over this disco style music. They are open on sundays when most coffee shops are closed. It's the shame that they never fixed the music issues or they could have had my business every Sunday. read more

Love the Tesla chargers! They have a drive thru window, and it gets crowded inside on Sunday mornings. The decor is upscale modern, not Cracker Barrel like someone said. There's a variety of seating from a large table, several small ones high and low, and a counter facing the window, so you can watch your Tesla charging! I don't eat all the fancy and cleverly named sweet waffles for kids, but the Rooster Rojo is a cornbread waffle with shredded chile pork. Delicious! I also had the local pecan flavored Buttercup latte. Delicious too! Service is very pleasant and works well together in a small space. Makes a nice stop at the crossroads. read more

I have ordered coffee and food at this restaurant more than five times. One of the employees is consistently apathetic and doesn't understand the difference between cold brew and an Americano. Twice now, he says they have cold brew but delivers an Americano because they're out of cold brew. I don't know why he wouldn't simply say that they're OUT of cold brew. The panini I ordered was flat as a pancake and unappetizing. My partner ordered a waffle and he said it was like they warmed it up in a microwave. You know the texture that breads get when you overheat them in the microwave? Yes, it was chewy and hard at the same time. Coffee and tea drinks are okay. Food is sub par.
