I don't know what's going on with this resort... it's been in a decline for years in terms of service. This coffee shop is the only other food option because everything is closed and the only sandwich they have is an sausage egg and cheese pre-made soggy sandwich. McdDonalds is better and we hate mcdonlads. We've been coming here for years they used to have great smoothies and breakfast wraps...if someone in management reads this we're not being mean we're actually concerned. We love spruce peak but it's going downhill!

They serve artisan coffee, which is local and delicious. We were delighted by that but I'd say a bit pricey. It's basically in a resort so I get that, was just a bit annoyed about the 90 cents for the almond milk, which we weren't told you could just get for free when you get your coffee. Why charge for non diary milk anyway.

The Beanery was one of the places I was most excited to visit while staying at the Lodge. It is located just steps outside of the lobby's lounge area. Our first visit we knew just what we wanted (hot chocolate), so we didn't even look at the drink menu. We also got a couple of cinnamons rolls. There's hardly any seating inside but we were the only ones there. That first day the girls behind the counter weren't rude, but they definitely didn't seem happy to be there. The next morning we came in and the girl behind the counter just stared at us for a while before coming out to take our order. While ordering another employee comes out and interrupts me and just starts talking to the cashier. They were very short with us and kind of rude. This is also when I found out they have pretty much no flavor selections for their drinks. Other than chocolate or caramel the only flavors they had were holiday ones (in February). This was disappointing because I like to shake up my drinks every day. They also seem to make their pastries different every day, as the cinnamon rolls that day were way smaller and a different shape. I tried the chocolate croissant instead. Only one bite had chocolate and the rest was hard and crunchy. At this point it was really crowded inside and all the seating was filled with others standing around so we left. Overall, I was disappointed with the service and selection here. It is really just the location that will bring me to return next time I stay at the Lodge.

Delicious coffee and the fru fru stuff for those of you who don't drink hot coffee. Great pastries and friendly staff.

Very bad coffee and long wait times. Would not recommended this cafe. The coffee was diluted and had no flavor.

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!
