    Tuna salad in spinach wrap
    Claudia B.

The one thing I learned about visiting Vermont, at least during non-leaf season months, is most businesses keep scarce hours. For instance, this wonderful little shop was only open till 2pm on Sundays (when we were arriving) and not open at all on Mondays, the only other day we were going to be in Stowe. Knowing this ahead of time, but traveling from Saratoga Springs, NY to Stowe, VT, I kept watching the clock to attempt to make it there before they closed. We were successful, and even with only 10 minutes before they closed, they were so happy to serve us whatever we wanted. Trust me when I say we NEVER get that response where we live. In fact, we just make a point that if a restaurant closes within 30 minutes of our arrival around where we live, we don't even attempt it. But here, at Stowe Bee Bakery, they were as gracious and helpful as could be. What's more is that the food was OUTSTANDING. They made their tuna salad PERFECTLY with just the right amount of mayo, celery and scallions, and wrapped in an extremely fresh spinach wrap. It was packed so full of the tuna mixture, I couldn't eat more than half of it, and I was heartbroken to waste the other half. Since we were traveling and didn't know if our B&B had a refrigerator or any place to store the uneaten other half of my sandwich, I had to waste it. Such a shame. My husband ate all of his panini, although he can't remember now at this time of my reviewing what kind he had... but he said he loved it !! We also bought some bakery items because I had read they're really good, so of course, we had to see for ourselves. The problem was, however, that we never really got to eat them because we were either on the go nonstop, or we were too full after our meals to want anything else. A few days went by, and they spoiled. I did take a bite of the brownie we bought. It was rich, decadent, and perfectly baked, but unfortunately, I only got that one bite. The other 3-4 items, we had to throw out. I hated being so wasteful, but they sure looked wonderful. From my perspective, it's just a reason for us to return to Stowe, which was our favorite of all stops, so you can be sure we'd come back here to Stowe Bee Bakery. What we ate, we loved, and with such friendly service !!

Pastries are delicious, especially the Jumbo Popover with Maple butter, so was the Quiche. We tried the Raspberry Chip warmm Bread Pudding that was fresh, vibrant, and delicious. The place has seating that is comfortable and the service was welcoming. They serve Breakfast and Lunch.

Cute little bakery & lunch spot on the outside of town. Nice selection of sandwiches, salads, paninis etc. They also have a wide selection of bakery items.

5/5 BAKERY Oh my goodness! I was searching for a quick breakfast before my drive back and stumbled upon this amazing bakery. The older lady at the cash register was so sweet and checked in to see how we liked our food. I am not a big fan of biscuits nor breakfast sandwiches but this place has changed that. Their biscuits were SOOO delicious, soft, flakey, and full of butter. This would be the PERFECT quick sandwich to grab before a snowboarding day. My partner also LOVED their holiday special Caramel Apple Latte. I hardly say this but EVERYTHING looked so good. It does get busy on a Sunday morning but the line moved by super quick. I would definitely be back to try other things on their menu! Artisian Egg Sandwiches are premade every 5-10 minutes. THIS IS A MUST GET! The Sunrise Egg Sandwich $8.85 The Ridgeview Egg Sandwich $8.35 Crustless Quiche $6.35 Savory Egg Muffin $6.35 16 oz Caramel Apple Latte (seasonal flavor, unsure of price) 16 oz Honey Bee Latte w/ Oat Milk ($5.60+$1.25+$1.95)

On a recent Saturday morning, the line was really long, but it moved very quickly. We had two different biscuit breakfast sandwiches, a chocolate chip muffin and coffee. The kid loved his muffin and we thought the biscuit sandwiches were very good, but one of us wished there was an option to have the sandwich on a bagel or English muffin instead. We would definitely come back to try some of their other options and sip another coffee while we do so.

I have been going into Stowe Bee for years and have enjoyed everything, the food is great. However, I am have been deceived on charges and more than one time. $40.70 for 2 coffees and 2 bfst sandwiches. The lovely older woman says to me, "I just press the buttons" when I asked how it could be so much. Alas, she knows what's up. The sandwiches are listed as $6.95(?) but charged $8.96. Then the delivery fee..... $3.94. Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with paying a premium but you gotta put it on the menu/price list, otherwise you're stealing.

My gosh!!!!! These chocolate chip muffins are so amazing!!!! Easily the best I've ever had, and that's saying something. I've had so many in my life and these take the cake, or take the muffin that is. Amazing shop and amazing customer service.

This place was a hit overall! They're big / known for their biscuits, and when I learned the sandwich's were on them, I was a bit hesitant to try..But it was good! They're made in house but not per order, but it honestly tasted fresh. They didnt have many other food options though, and they also had some pastries. Drink menu was probably a fan favorite because there were so many people waiting for theirs. Clean spot, service was friendly and pretty quick too, aside from the drink demand. Good prices too

Oatmeal. sausage egg cheese sandwich. Cinnamon roll. Smoothie.

Was really expecting a great experience based on the reviews but the egg sandwich as ok but the sausage was very rubbery, had to take it out of the sandwich. The smoothie was wierd. It separated into layers but it was really just milk. The cinnamon roll wasn't a classic spiral, just looked and tasted like a roll with icing. and had no cinnamon. The oatmeal was good though.

Small / cute bakery serving solid coffee along with wonderful pastries and baked goods. Stopped by here with my girlfriend before heading back home from Vermont. We ended up grabbing some coffee and pastries to go. Our coffee orders were an Americano and Cafe Au Lait. The coffee was standard and tasted good - the highlight here by far though is the baked goods though. We got two pastries and both of them were fantastic. We had a berry and cheese danish and a Maple Pecan Cake. The danish was texturally light but rich flavor wise. And the cake was arguably one of the best items of food we had all weekend. The maple pecan topping was absolutely delicious and the cake was baked to perfection - lightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Will definitely be making it a point to stop by here again the next time I find my self in town or Vermont in general

    Iced coffee

Below average breakfast sandwich, tasted dry. Overpriced plus a mandatory service fee made it $16.73 for a premade (kept in a heating display) bacon egg and cheese and a not particularly large iced coffee.

I ordered their blueberry muffin, Bacon/egg and cheese biscuit with a flavored lemonade. I will say the muffin was okay not my favorite pastry they have to offer. Their breakfast sandwiches are great. Be sure to add honey or jelly to sandwich the biscuit can be dry at times. Now the lemonade was spectacular. I would highly recommend getting one. Service was polite and helpful. Their bathrooms were clean and had plenty of tables to sit inside to relax.

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

I love when the local bike shop is *truly* a LOCAL bike shop, and not some generic conglomerate that has hired locals. We got so many excellent recommendations on where to ride, what to look out for, and any setup changes we should make based on our individual setups. For those who didn't bring bikes, renting bikes was quick and painless. They took the time to get us dialed in before we were off to ride. The merch was top-notch. My only (very minor) disappointment was that the green hat that I bought to match the jersey I also bought was a children's hat. I missed that at time of purchase and didn't realize it until we were back at our rental for the night. It's okay, I brought it back the next day and they were cool about it and let me swap my kids hat for a different adult-size hat, even though they didn't have any green adult hats. I wish we had a few extra days in the area, I would have loved to join some of the local group rides that seem to meet here to ride regularly. We did eat lunch here one of the days. It was so nice to eat outside. There was a good flow of people in and out, but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. We had a group of 8, and yet everything arrived just as quickly as we ordered it. I had a crunch wrap. It felt like a lot of food, but it hit the spot. If I find myself back in the area, I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Let's start with what we enjoyed during our visit: the drinks were good... the atmosphere was cool (more like a contemporary "cabin" vibe, which was definitely inviting)... and the staff were all stellar!! Where Ranch Camp let us down on this visit was the food. In fact, we desperately wanted to love the experience because everything LOOKED fantastic. However, all the food we ordered was bland. It all started with the pork nachos, which our party of 3 ordered as an appetizer. It was piled high and dripping with ingredients... but the dish completely lacked flavor. The pork was perfectly tender but tasted flavorless (until I added hot sauce and salt). I would also recommend they serve the dish with pico de gallo or salsa to boost the flavor. We had the same feeling with the burrito bowls. Two of us ordered different burritos (opting for bowls instead of tortillas), and we both thought the flavor was just okay. And on top of that, both of our bowls were lukewarm. In fact, the entrées weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese. I wish I would have sent the food back, but we were in a bit of a hurry. Finally, my friend James ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, which he also thought was "just okay." Oh, and we noted that a table near us sent back food... so not sure what was up with that, but we we weren't surprised based on our overall experience. Final Thoughts: Prior to visiting Ranch Camp, I read plenty of reviews praising the restaurant, so I'd like to think that they were just having a bad day.

The poutine was very good, but I'll grant you that it's maybe hard to get that wrong - but their gravy is on point! Duncan was the server, who disclosed that he was new but you wouldn't know it from how he took orders and brought food out. Even threw him a curve by asking for the steak frites with an additional side of brussel sprouts, which he handled no problem - even though there weren't any sides I saw on the menu. Steak was medium rare and perfectly seasoned, and I think I mentioned the chimichurri but it deserves additional mention. Maybe you're wondering about beverages. The maple lemonade is great - it leans harder on the tart side and there are sweeter options around (Cliff House) but I love a lemonade that tastes... lemony. Pineapple cherry punch was also a hit - but that's secondhand hearsay, unlike my direct opinion on the chimichurri - which I would drink if I could. Definitely check this place out.
