I had to make an emergency appointment with an opthamologist after my lash appointment with spa bar because I am leaving for my wedding tomorrow. I told the doctor I felt some extra burning in that corner while getting them done and the specialist told me the lash tech either scratched my eye or got some of the chemicals in my eyeball that damaged the surface of my eye. I called and asked to speak to a manager (to hopefully get a refund for the extra $25 she charged me for the style I wanted and the $25 I tipped her) but the manager was unavailable and the front desk totally brushed me off saying the doctor was probably wrong and burning was normal. Burning can be normal, but when a specialist tells you that you've damaged someone's eye, accountability is expected. Don't go here unless you want an extra charge for style, and then have to pay $94 at the eye doctor after they damage your eyeball.

You do have the added advantage (or disadvantage) that this is in a main shopping area therefore you can go shopping or grab a bite to eat afterwards.

Most importantly though, you can still reliably get a killer manicure and pedicure here. The attention to detail and level of care given is incredible. My faves Pink and Tina are still knocking it out of the park with the most impeccable manicures I've had and I really can't see myself trusting my nails with anyone else. And I've caved and tried a place or two over the last couple years and regretted it. Won't make that mistake again!! What's changed? I'd say they've added more staff to keep up with the demand. You still should always try to make an appointment. I don't go anywhere these days without an appointment. I purchased my legs and inner thighs for $600 from Groupon. I expected spots to be ticklish painful in my inner thighs and backs of legs, which they were but she'd stop whenever it got to be too much and then wait until I was okay.
