I noticed he was mentioned in a review with only 2 stars. I have to disagree. I thought he did a great job. I am also vietnamese and understand the language. I don't disclose that I can speak the language because I like to get a feel of the people and how they treat their customers. She takes her time, listens to exactly what I want, and always does an excellent job. The atmosphere is really nice too. I love that they usually have those no-sound ASMR-style food and drink-making videos playing because they're honestly so satisfying to watch lol. They also offer complimentary drinks, including mimosas, and snacks with your service, which is such a nice touch. I only took off one star because my mom and I did have one experience with a staff member who wasn't very pleasant, and my mom's pedicure felt extremely rushed and lacked the care we expected. She paid $70 for the service and unfortunately didn't feel like it was worth the price. That being said, maybe the staff member was just having an off day. Aside from that experience, I've had a great experience here, especially with Vanessa, and I'll definitely keep coming back to her.

I always feel like no matter who does my nails, they always do a great job. The salon itself is very clean and calming. The staff maintains the salon well and they even bring you a snack and a drink when doing your nails. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I have gotten a mani pedi for $130 and a full acrylic set from $70 - $120 (depending on length and style) sometimes i get a simple medium length chrome french tip ($70) or sometimes i get long nails with a different design on each nail ($120). they are very talented and do an amazing job regardless. I requested a full removal of builder gel, a trim back down to my natural nail length, and then a regular gel polish. The removal itself was fine, but I did feel a little uneasy because the technician using the electric drill was frequently looking away from my nails while the drill was still pressed down. Once the gel color was applied, I asked for what I thought was a fairly simple leaf design. The first attempt unfortunately looked very messy and uneven--almost like a child had drawn the leaves. I ended up waiting for another technician to finish her client so she could redo the design. The second tech did improve it, but the process took much longer than expected. Overall, the solid color gel application was fine, but it seems like more practice may be needed for nail art designs.

One thing to know: the power went out at some point, and it was really awesome to see that they were prepared for a power outage with battery, powered supplies, lamps, and other things. The shop itself is really cute, very clean aesthetic while being warm. The only downside is that it's in downtown so you have to find downtown parking but luckily there's tons of street parking nearby.
