My best friend gifted me an experience here to create my own lipstick and lipgloss for my birthday. The concept is very cool and unique, so I was very excited. I figured we'd be the ones mixing pigment to create our shade but instead it was the staff member who did the work and let us dictate which tones worked for us etc. The overall experience was neat! You get to pick your color shade and then name it. They put the custom name on the packaging itself. I think the experience could be improved a little if they let customers be more hands on. We did a lot of waiting and I expected a little more interaction to make it more fun. When I got home I tried on my shades and they were beautiful and high quality. Super cute concept for sure. I was excited for this experience. Maybe my expectation was too high for this experience because I left disappointed. I heard about these places where you create your own lip stick . Someone had told me about how great these experiences can be in the city.So I thought it would be the perfect gift for my amazing friend. I definitely loved parts of it, and I did love my lip gloss final product. I just wished it was more hands on. It's kinda just boring just watching someone just make it for you. What a great experience! I had my baby sprinkle here and had no complaints. The place is already so girly and cute makes it's super easy to decorate. The lip sticks and lip glosses are high quality. Staff was extremely patient, helpful, and organized. I highly recommended this place. read more

Had a session here with 3 other friends and we had a time!! I sometimes think twice about makeup events because they do not usually incorporate shades for people of color. Not this place! The Beauty Tailor is incredibly inclusive and the personal experience left me with a great deal of confidence in my new lip color. I went with something I've never tried before and they were so patient with offering suggestions and formulations until I felt good bout what we settled on. The space is super cute and the staff were so engaging and professional AND SANITARY. They have a beautiful party room with karaoke and I WILL definitely be planning an event there. We had my daughter's 12th birthday here and it was amazing! The owners, a husband and wife team, were so patient with my bunch of indecisive preteen girls and they let them try any colors they wanted while also gently steering them to colors that were right for their skin tones. They were able to customize their lipstick tubes with engravings of their choice. And once their finalized color was being made, they let the girls experiment with fun colors like blue and orange. We also opted for the karaoke party room. The owners had the room decorated already, including personalized messages/screen savers and even giant "12" balloons. They had selfie lighting, karaoke set up and the room was sound proofed so the sound of a bunch of preteens screaming Taylor Swift and Blackpink couldn't be heard in the lobby/lipstick lab. The owners were so accommodating and we didn't feel rushed. The place is super cute, so fun, and immaculately clean. It was $50 per lipstick maker but you really get your money's worth and then some with the whole experience. I highly recommend this place for a unique and fun experience read more

I stopped by here today. This establishment opened about a month ago. A young couple are the owners. They are both very upbeat and friendly and I really hope this store grows. The atmosphere is contemporary and inviting. If you are looking for that perfect lipstick shade, then this is the place for you. They have hundreds of shades you can mix and try, along with the help of a professional mixologist. How much fun is that!!! They also offer bridal events, showers, birthday parties, whatever you want. I had no idea this store even existed, so I wasn't prepared to get involved with a new color. I had an Auntie/Niece playdate with my 7-year-old niece. Andrew was kind and patient. He knew how to engage my inquisitive niece. She still hasn't stopped talking about it. A lipstick was created with our input of colors/tones and texture. He was a "scientist" who kept mixing colors until we were happy. My niece got to try on "fun" colored lipsticks as the colors of ours were melting. We had fun while observing and adhering to their hygienic process. Beauty Tailor then personalized the case of our lipstick with a laser. We were able to tour the adorable party room and take photos on the couches that are adorned with lip pillows.
