He really puts so much care into the way he cuts my hair, giving so much attention to detail.. really working with the texture and weight of my hair. I get SO many compliments on my cut, and I will always recommend him to anyone locally. When I first moved back to long island (after have living in LA and NYC) I had a hard time finding someone that could really "style" my hair and not just give me a basic cut. When I finally found Antonio, I felt so good leaving his salon with a haircut that suits my personality. It's so rare to find such an amazing stylist on long island, I would compare him closer to the stylists from LA and NYC that I've had my cuts from. I expressed the purpose of the purchase and gave her some insight into each of the recipients and shared how I wanted to choose shades with names that matched their temperaments or roles. For an one educator whose son is both autistic and has Down syndrome we chose Heroine - a beautiful shade of purple, her favorite color. For another whose tech obsessed we chose a deep shade of purple called Cyber. For another who has a big personality we chose " Flat out fabulous" and another who always leave work late we chose " werk werk werk". Hmmm... so I took a chance and wanted to try a new place to do my hair. I got the Groupon for blow,…read morecut, style and full highlights and made my appt for today. I arrived and was greeted by the receptionist who was very sweet and was then greeted by my hairs dresser Ann. She was nice. We had discussed side sweeping bags with front laters and caramel highlights. I wasn't informed but she bleached the highlight strands and then added the color. After the first set of hair color my hair came out blond. When Ann proceeded to cut my hair I had to ask if the top of my head was going to be so light. She said yes. So I asked her to put another coat of color on at least the top part. This did make the my top of hair slightly darker. So instead of warm caramel I got cool blondish. The side bangs came out more blunt than I liked (I ended up going home and trimming it myself so it flowed better). And I was charged an additional $15 for having long hair. The woman washing my hair only either applied shampoo or conditioner to my hair... not both. And the last rinse not sure if she applied either. It was more of a rinse than a wash. I may need to get it fixed by another place in the near future..... I won't be going back any time soon as nice as they were.

It was during a very high restriction time during the pandemic and she took every safety measure needed/ wanted at that time to be comfortable. On top of that she gave me so many wonderful pre-wedding skin tips and had a pre wedding day call to go over everything so I was totally prepared. I ended up learning so much about makeup and my skin just from this experience. I can also say hands down, my makeup was the best I've ever had done by anyone. It was perfect! I could not have been in better hands than with Milenka on my wedding day.
