ALMOST BROKE A TOOTH!!! The location was an eye catcher from when I first approached. Well decorated, had a hip hop, new school, earthy, bohemian vibe. I was greeted by a friendly lady who was able to assist me in a short time. They had a lot to offer on their menu but I was on a hunt for an acai bowl. I ordered their "Acai Me" bowl, and added peanut butter drizzle and chocolate chips. The base of the bowl itself was tasty, the fruit was fresh and sweet, the chocolate chips and peanut butter took it over the top. BUT the granola was so unbearably crunchy that I almost broke a tooth!! The granola is a MUST for acai bowls for me, it adds that nutty earthy crunch (that isn't supposed to break a tooth) but I couldn't even eat half of the bowl... that I paid $21 for and Im pretty upset about the whole situation honestly. Most likely will not be coming here again, at least for the acai bowl. read more

My daughter and I stumbled across this restaurant while in RVA this summer! This is definitely a hidden gem for anyone who cares about what they are putting inside of them! I wasn't able to get the name of the young lady who helped me today because it is hard to shop for myself with my 8 year old daughter. Nonetheless, I am giving a 5/5 for food, service and location. We were able to sample a vegan chocolate chip cookie and my customer service advisor also allowed me to sample a sea-moss shot before purchasing a jar. My daughters favorite part was the exterior. The best juice bar in Richmond! Not only is the service consistently on point, but so is everything on their menu! I usually get one of their smoothie bowls. The Acai Me is my favorite, but I substitute chocolate chips instead of the coconut flakes. The Dragon Queen is my second favorite and its just as delicious. You can't leave here without trying their avocado toast. I usually do a combination of their West Coast and GOAT -- with red onions, tomatoes, olive oil, sprouts, and everything bagel seasoning on top. I stopped in here the other day because it was hot outside and I couldn't resist a smoothie. I've passed this place a ton on the way to Roastology for coffee. I don't love Smoothie King or Tropical Smoothie because their smoothies taste like they are packed with sugar. I was pleased to see that all of these smoothies in front of me seemed more natural. I also had eaten beets the other night, so they were on the brain. I got two spirulina smoothies because I love pineapple, and I thought my boyfriend would like that the most. OH MY GOD. They were absolutely delicious. Honestly, it tasted like a milkshake. Knowing I was doing something good for my body made me slurp the whole thing down. When I gave my boyfriend his smoothie, he had a taste and put it to the side saying he was going to drink it later. I wasn't going to let an almost 9-dollar smoothie go to waste so I stuck it in the freezer and had it the other night. Yum. So I haven't been the *healthiest* during the pandemic, so this place was a breath of fresh air in more ways than one! First, I absolutely love the store front - what a work of art! The interior is just as lovely as the exterior. Second, the food is GREAT! If you are looking for something light yet filling and incredibly fresh with an ideal blend of flavors, this is it! They have several cold food options, which would be perfect for summer, so when I was making my selections on a particularly balmy day I had to get creative. Luckily they had posted their soup of the week on their Instagram. I thought the combination of Wild Rice & Mushroom soup with avocado toast (G.O.A.T) would be weird, but it was delicious! The soup was good and filling, and the sweet potatoes were a nice surprise. I have to admit I'm not full on the avocado toast train, but the G.O.A.T was so good! I also tried a smoothie bowl (my first ever) and it was delicious - highly recommend Dragon Queen. The granola topping added some perfect texture to the bowl. It took me a while to figure out which juice I wanted to try, but I finally settled on Paint The Town - if you like beets and and drinks with a gingery kick, you gotta check it out. First off yummy! I am obsessed with smoothies and cold juices so I'm always on the hunt for a new, cool, spot to try out when traveling. I found this place on Yelp and added it to my list of "musts " in Richmond, VA. As soon as my husband and I walked in we were warmly greeted and came to a stand up menu to look at as soon as we entered the door. I like this method better as it shows people where the real line starts, as well as give others the opportunity to look at a menu. They currently offer a variety of smoothies, 3 types of breakfast toasts, smoothie bowls, shots, as-one, and juices with a create your own option as well. I decided to order the Pink Panther Smoothie with a booster shot of Noble. The smoothie was sweet and delicious and I heard another customer say that their Noble shot tasted like "Christmas" which I totally got. I also ordered the G.O.A.T. toast wick was toasted perfectly and thick enough to have a soft center, topped with fresh guacamole, everything bagel seasoning, and sliced tomatoes. It was literally the best toast I've had and now I see why avocado toast has become "a thing". Overall the staff kept a great pace with the customers who were in and out and we also came when it was raining so there were more people on the inside that normal I'm sure. All in all I would definitely return and try out another toast or juice for sure. It seems like a good meetup spot on the good for small groups (2-3) and is located in a really cute area. If you like smoothies or smoothie bowls this place won't disappoint.  I've been in a big smoothie kick and was really impressed by this smoothie spot.  Their staff was very friendly and this is clearly a very popular smoothie place since it was bustling. They've got a really wide variety to their menu with lots of flavor options for everyone. My wife got a cookie dough smoothie from their specials menu that was fantastic. I got one of their chocolate smoothie mainstays which was exactly what I was looking for. As with many other spots in this section of Richmond it is within walking distance of so many places. I've been wanting to try this place for months and finally made it happen. Smoothie bowls and avocado toast are not my husband's thing but he agreed to give it a try. The small space is cute with painted murals and stickers decorating the cooler. The service was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the açaí bowl and my husband had one of the avocado toasts.
