Went for lunch with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. It was a packed house, but luckily we got a booth(you seat yourself). I ordered the liver and onions, with broccoli, pickled beets and a side of meatballs. My friend ordered a burger/fries, medium. The food came out within 20 minutes, which I think is good considering how busy they were. My liver and onions were AWESOME. Great flavor, fresh and they sauteed the onions good. The Meat balls were also fantastic. Seasoned very well, not dry and came with a nice sauce. My friends burger was over cooked, well done and dry. The french fries it came with are a large portion and were very good. BP has pizza and breakfast menu as well, there is definitely enough on the menu for me to come back. So I went back today for a lunch pick up order. Hadn't been in a long time. I got 2 items, a Small plain cheese pizza and a Large meatball sub. Bill was $20.34 for just these two items. It's no wonder the place is always empty. I called to make sure they didn't charge us for a large pizza. Nope, $9.60 for small cheese pizza.(usually 5 or 6 bucks elsewhere) $9 something for a large meatball sub that was the size of most other places' small or medium. So I'm done. We've been coming here for years. Usually take out. The last three times, they have gotten our orders VERY wrong. Now ordering is online. They give a remarks section. Clearly, no one read anything. I ordered the Greek salad with a side of chicken breast. Remarks- chicken heated with feta and chicken on the side. Salad came with an excessive amount of feta and it was all over the salad. Chicken was stone cold- out of the refrigerator cold. I took about a half cup of feta off the salad, the amount of cheese is crazy and it makes the salad soggy. The last time was worse and I spoke to someone to place the order. It was a special order but I had called earlier in the day to make sure they could do it. I was told it would not be a problem and to just call when ready to order. I ordered enough food for four people, all the same thing and when we opened the order, it was only one serving in four containers. Had people coming for dinner. Called the restaurant and they blamed me even though I corrected the person who took the order twice. This has happened a few times over the years - more than from any other restaurant. But three times in a row - we'll go elsewhere. It's not rocket science people. We shouldn't have to open and examine our order each time. read more

It's down the street from the office. This is where my boss hangs out when he hasn't had breakfast in the morning, or he just doesn't want to be in the office yet. It's more often than not the latter case. He's 'kidnapped' me here a few times, and even after repeatedly telling him that I have already eaten breakfast. I can't say no.... Well, I can say no to him, but not why would I turn down a business breakfast? They do make a good veggie omelette and it's what I have ordered every time. Great service. Never been let down. It's also good for people with most food allergies. My boss has a number of food allergies. He's been rushed to the ER in an ambulance twice last year. He carries an epipen and tells us to stab him with it, when necessary. He has a limited number of restaurants he trusts not to kill him. This is a place where I know I won't have to worry about needing to stab him. That's a plus for me! I was viewing their menu on their website and called to order a Parmesan crusted chicken sandwich. Their online menu had the option to add fries for $1.00. I asked for fries to be added and I was told it would be $1.99 extra. I told the person taking the order that the menu price was $1.00 so she checked with management and was told not to honor their menu price. I will never order from this shady establishment again. I am so disappointed right now! I've been going to Bellingham Palace for many, many years. My family has always loved the food there. More recently, I have seen a huge decline in their customer service. Tonight, when placing a take out order, the girl on the phone was extremely rude to me when I was ordering a meal that I have ordered regularly for at least 15 years. She told me that I couldn't order it the way I wanted (which is how I have always had it made). It seems as though there was a very young group of waitresses in there tonight and they haven't been trained properly on the menu and how to deliver customer requests. Love their Breakfast. Have been coming here my entire life, but they have become so overpriced! $5.29 for an Orange juice and $9.18 for a Bacon egg and cheese on a Bagel. Absurd. The elderly lady on the side of us was mortified when she received her bill. She explained that she comes here and orders the same thing all the time, except this time her check was substantial more. This place knocks my socks off every single time. Incredible food served by incredible people made by amazing chefs. 1000% worth the drive from Boston to here just to eat this amazing food. Currently workin my way through the menu, and as someone who's had a fair share of the food here (breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu) I gotta say that every single thing I've tried is 10/10 jaw droppingly good. Not a kid friendly restaurant. My husband and I took our 5 year old grandson here last night because he wanted breakfast for dinner. This restaurant has always been in the pricier side but this visit prompted me to write this review. My grandsons meal consisted of four half slices of French toast (2 pcs of French toast), bacon and a white milk. Breakdown of costs: $4.49 for the 2 slices of French toast, $4.99 for 4 small strips of bacon and $2.99 for a kids cup of white milk. Total was $12.50 without tax. How terrible is that? They do not have a kids breakfast menu or charge less for a child's meal? I asked our waitress about this who in turn said that the owner said that he doesn't care and that's what their prices are for kids or adults. The total cost of our meal was with taxes were 40.99. Also note that the online menu shown on their website is old, their prices do not reflect the new menu they pass out. Also note that they do have a kids menu for lunch or dinner which includes a beverage for 5.99 but there is not breakfast menu for children. My advise to families with children, go elsewhere where they welcome children. read more

There's a banner on the front of the restaurant that says "Voted Best Italian Restaurant." This is confusing, seeing as how I tend to think of The Bellingham Palace as a diner. I don't know about you, but I've never had two eggs over easy with a side of bacon, home fries and wheat toast at an Italian joint. And I'm pretty sure they don't traditionally serve pancakes and omlettes at most Italian restaurants, either. That small point aside, as a diner, The Bellingham Palace is swell. The waitresses are friendly and generous with the coffee, the food is tasty and the prices are right. And holy cow - the menu is the size of most medical textbooks! I'm sure there are some pasta dishes buried in there somewhere, but seeing as how I'm a breakfast-anytime kind of gal, I'll stick to what I already know and love. read more

Went here on Sunday for Brunch with a few people. 3 of us ordered breakfast, and my fiance ordered a burger... When the food came out everything looked (and tasted) delicious. The burger was huge. The waitress that took our drink order was not the same waitress that took our food order... which was a little confusing... And she wasn't very pleasant. It was a bit crowded, but no wait... And the tables are super small, when our plate(s) came, we had to organize them on top of each other, not a lot of space... Maybe Bellingham Palace should not plate everything separately. We have a love/hate relationship with Bellingham Palace, so I'll split this into pros and cons. PROS: -Extensive menu and reasonable prices. -I believe they hired a new head cook several years back and their food got noticeably better. The "Bullseye" is my favorite breakfast item while their chicken parm and pesto sandwich is one of favorite lunches around. -Italian chicken orzo soup. Literally my favorite soup anywhere. I've tried recreating it at home and can't come close. -Menu is extensive and you can't go wrong with almost anything on it. CONS: -If the tables are full, there's no where to really stand and wait without feeling like you're in the middle of the room with everyone staring at you. -The fountain soda costs more than the coffee. -The waitresses are EXTREMELY hit or miss. Some are sweethearts while others (one miserable old "redheaded" hag comes to mind) are not so much. It's almost like playing Russian roulette, hoping you don't get the bad waitress after you seat yourself. All in all, I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch, hell, even dinner. Shockingly great for Bellingham! My mother insisted on going here for her birthday- sketchy area but the food was A+! Veggie omelette was super fresh with delicious hash browns. It is a small little diner which has been around for over 30 years, and the staff is very friendly. They just recently remodeled and one of the things they added in was an outdoor seating area, which is really nice when you want to sit down and have your breakfast outside on a nice summer morning. They have the usual breakfast foods like eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast... but they also have SPECIALTY items like the Stuff French Toast or their own special Omlett. They definitely give you plenty of food and everything is really good. I ADORE the ITALIAN TOAST... which is like a pan pressed Italian bread ... SO Good!!! We have been there for lunch, we were not really impressed with the food we had that day... I had Nachos which... I didn't like, but it could have just been what we chose. We will try it again some other time... but it certainly is a MUST for a yummy breakfast. read more

Wow, I loved this place! Having lived and/or worked in Woonsocket for my entire life, I was surprised to realize that I'd never even heard of Bellingham Palace until I was searching on Yelp one day. With such a high rating on the site, I knew that I needed to visit right away and check this place out. And what an awesome surprise it was! When we walked in at 3pm on a Monday and were the only people there save one other couple, we were a little bit nervous. But as soon as the waitress came over with our cheese fries, we know we'd hit gold. Man, they were good. My boyfriend even deemed them "the best fries I've ever had!" That's one heck of an accolade. We also ordered a Monte Cristo, the Chicken Cobb Salad, and the Taco Pizza...all of which were absolutely delicious. We also had amazing waitress service -- she was funny, timely, and sweet. I couldn't have had a better time...we will definitely be coming back soon! read more

This place has the opportunity to be so much better. Food is honestly delicious. Both times that I've gone, it hasn't disappointed. The omelets are amazing and the eggs benedict is onpoint but it's the service that lacks. We waited for quite a long time and the overall waitstaff has absolutely no personality. I'm a huge breakfast and diner person and one thing that really makes me come back is the kindness of waitstaff; particularly if it's a family-owned restaurant. If they have that warm friendly feel, I would honestly go for that feeling with mediocre food than delicious food with cold attitudes. I will also say, breakfast is extremely expensive for the area. It seems a little off considering the location of this place. I'd come here again and give it another try but I won't consider being a regular at this point. read more

this has always been our go to spot for breakfast or even dinner, i've been on numerous occasions and i honestly think of a time when i've been even the slightest bit disappointed, actually that's a lie, i was slightly disappointed once, and that's only because i waited too long to eat it, but that had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. they have the best steak and eggs breakfast that i've had literally EVER. don't want/like eggs with your steak?? no problem they have a dinner version with mashed potatoes that's always on point as well. they have good burgers, pizza, clam cakes....legit everything is on point. read more

Went here for my first time the other day never heard of the place before and it was very good! I ordered a cheese burger with fries and got some guacamole on the side to dip my fries in and my wife ordered the bbq chicken quesadillas those were amazing as well! it was so delicious I am definitely going back soon to order a different meal next time! Just had dinner here. I had the pancake sandwich which is ham, egg and american cheese between 2 pancakes. It was actually really good! My favorite breakfast (lunch and dinner too!) place. It's worth the drive from Providence and beyond. Huge menu, great service, amazing food. Yesterday I had breakfast club, a unique and delicious take on the breakfast sandwich! It went amazing with coffee and mimosas! Their mimosas even come with a sidecar. Great place for breakfast lunch or dinner! Breakfast is served all day which is neat. My absolute favorite meal there is the Goatee Pizza... gost cheese, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers... yum... have had other pixza and pasta dishes here and they're all delish. I usually get my food to-go from here but have eaten in the restaurant before. It can get busy but still service never fails. Clean establishment with a ton of choices to pick from.
