We roam around and really absorb and enjoyed the ambiance and peacefulness of this place! We got a sandwich, açaí bowl, and some drinks here. We got 2 açaí bowl, a lemonade, a frozen coffee, and a sandwich and paid over $70. This is a bit steep and as a city girl the prices in Boston even isn't this high. Everything was good, not the best I've had, but not terrible but just nothing extraordinary to pay that price. We saw a fly inside the bakery refrigerator and told the staff and was told that unfortunately their sliding door aren't the greatest to the flies get in ? Yikes I think for this price they should probably make the drinks and sandwiches something to truly remember but maybe we were paying for the ambiance? I would come back for maybe just a refresher next time while we shop and enjoy the nursery but not for lunch. I do think the nursery is worth while but the stars are specifically for the cafe.

There's always…read morelike 20 people working and every single person from the books to the kitchen staff is happy and cheerful and so kind. Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.

We were with a small child so I asked the waitress if I could have my daughter's food out first, which it was literally just one egg she looked at me like I was crazy and didn't respond and I repeated myself and she was like yes sure. Then proceeded to just bring everything out at once. But as any mom knows the quicker you get the food out the better behaved a child's going to be. When she took our drink order, we told her we were all set to order if she wanted to take our order as well considering the restaurant was not busy there was two other couples in there she said no just drinks right now. The whole process was slow getting our bill was slow. The food was mediocre at best and the portions were small.

Had to repeatedly ask for non dairy creamer but the server kept forgetting to bring it over, so I had to go up to the counter and ask them for it. Then wait for it to be delivered. Coffee was very acidic and bitter, I wasn't a fan of it. First time I came here I was really impressed by the GF, Nondairy selections and the quality of food and service. Now it is meh. Not worth the long drive there to me.

I don't even think I was seven minutes in line waiting to get all the orders and they get my stuff and they could sit and relax while I wait to go to another appointment in a few minutes. The cream cheese is freshly made in house for all the time. I got a really good cinnamon crunch bagel with a bacon, horseradish cream cheese, which is like my favorite combo. It was delicious lots of bacon in the cream cheese and just a touch of spice from the horseradish was really good. Brought the hubby home a garlic bagel, which is his favorite. He'll have that for breakfast tomorrow. I like it. It's always quiet even when there's a lot of customers here. I'm in this morning. It was only like eight of us in the dining room and the only person making noise was a little child at this table over playing with a toy other than that was quiet and the walls are nice and clean the pictures. Look really refreshing and delicious. Just an amazing experience love coming here. Little tiny shop on route one in a strip mall with only a hairdresser next-door, but lots of parking.
