Yes, we've gone many times with recommendation from one ofthe nurses that I work with. She said the food is very good. The portions are wonderful so since that time I've been there probably half a dozen times I had friends that came from out of town to visit from Arizona this summer. We took them to eat. They had nothing but tons of rave reviews about it about the food and everything and how the portions were exceptional. Period my nurse's favorite is the Monte Cristo Wood no egg but my favorite actually eggs Benedict my husband course a boring person. He always has just a sausage patties with the eggs and home fries. But the omelettes are enough for two people. There has been a couple times we've gone and just gotten one meal cause it's so big. The coffee is always hot and fresh. They have flavored, which is good for me and the service oh my gosh, the service is just incredible. They're right on top. They clean the tables right away so it really isn't that much but wait when they're busy maybe like five minutes or so And then they will clean the table off right away and seat you and that to me is important. read more

Yum! What a gem of a breakfast spot. I found them on Yelp and Village Griddle did not disappoint. We went in for a late breakfast on a weekday, we were seated right away. The employees were all very friendly! The only downside was it took 45 minutes for our food to come out. They were busy, but not slammed. Once the food did arrive it was delicious. I love a good corn beef hash and theirs is definitely homemade. It was awesome and I'll probably get it every time I head on in. My friend got the California benedict and it was also quite good. The home fries were seasoned well and came with a solid portion. I also appreciated how their white bread was a thick slice of Italian loaf. Also loved all their iced coffee options. Yummy. Spacious dining room. Plentiful. Variety. Comfortable. Friendly. Came with (2) kids under 2 yrs old (not mine) and the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. There was a small wait to be seated but it was noon on a Saturday... the walk to the bathroom to wash hands was lengthy! The place is much bigger inside than expected. Bathrooms were two separate unisex rooms. No stalls. :) Bathroom was clean enough nothing fancy, nothing worth noting. We were seated at a lovely window booth tucked away from the main dining floor and I was pleased with our luck as well as the sunlight given this gloomy winter in NE! I shared my booth bench with my super cute 2 yr old niece and oh Lordy, was I ill-prepared for what would be her public display & behavior before, during and after the entire meal service! Yikes! I have to say, the waitress didn't seem phased at all by the temper tantrums and despite the chaos going on at our table, she always approached quite calm, right on time and more than helpful each time! Kudos to the entire staff and patrons for not making me feel more uncomfortable than I felt inside. The food was very good. I didn't have my normal bandwidth to dissect the menu bc of the kids, but the words that I did get to read, the menu was substantial, detailed and with many good looking options for a variety of tastes. I opted for the #1 special just to order. 2 Pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 sides. I chose sausage. I believe it was around $13 bucks.. I also tried the Ricky seltzer. @ $3. Everything was yummy. My cousin's options were even more yummy, she got a bacon maple pancake and Hash dish. If I weren't so busy with the mini me, we could've easily finished our plates. We asked for 2 boxes and before we left I asked for a to-go cup for my specialty drink. I barely sipped it & it tasted so good, I didn't want to waste it. Not only did I get it poured in a travel cup, but the waitress had topped me off! That was the 5th star. :) I don't love the fact they use styrofoam and I would've loved grass fed butter for my pancakes instead of the prepackaged butter but all in all, I'd come back here again and again without thinking twice. Upon entering the staff were polite and friendly. The wait time was quick. It was 10 minutes because I preferred a table instead of a booth. Other parties seated quickly. It's a large establishment but when we were leaving there was a longer wait time but the staff were moving quickly and efficiently. Our waitress Barbie was incredible. So sweet and very attentive. She knew what we wanted before asking! Whether it was an extra napkin or a refill on our drinks she was there before we even looked up. The food was delicious. Table service is fine but you should avoid sitting at the counter as servers speed by you, avoiding eye contact at all costs. Especially if you are there alone. We've always had a great experience here but the last 3 times we've been there were servers standing around and empty tables with a line out the door of people waiting to get seated. Normally I'd say that was due to short staffing, which is understandable, but again, there were at least 4 servers standing behind the counter chatting while tables needed cleaned and turned over. Pros : What a pleasant surprise , first time here and will definitely be back. The restaurant is very spacious , tables spaced far enough apart not to feel crowded. Seemed extremely clean . Peeked into the kitchen which also even though busy seemed very organized and clean big plus. We were promptly seated at the counter and had a very friendly, smiling waitress that gave us excellent service. I enjoyed the create you own omelet . The place is crisp and clean, and very inviting. There was no wait to be seated, our waiter came over shortly after. They have raspberry lime Rickey's, immediately brought me back to my childhood! I got pancakes and pork sausage links, they were good, not great or outstanding. My husband got the #3 and he said same thing, good not great. Food was tasty. Freshly made to order. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal. The bowl was so big, I could have eaten the oatmeal for about a week before I could see the bottom of the bowl. I also ordered a muffin. They do not carry Bran Muffins. Which for senior citizens like myself, could result in a forced hardship later when you can't poop. My family and I were celebrating my brother in laws birthday a couple of weeks ago and we made reservations for breakfast. We made reservations for 19. The table was already set up when we got there. We actually added a few more as people started showing up. The waitress, I didn't catch her name, was amazing! If you're looking for real food you can find it here. I had the Blonde Rueben, a generous slab of roast turkey with warm slaw, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing on a perfectly grilled marble rye. Delicious, although I added Dijon mustard as the turkey wasn't overly seasoned as I like it. My lunch mate had the original Reuben with a very generous serving of a tender chunk of corned beef. My daughter got the rainbow pancakes - they come with meat or fruit which is so nice to have options for kids. The kids pancakes were small which I also appreciate since she can eat them more easily. My mom got linguica hash and fruit - she liked it. Our waitress was very nice and got us plenty of crayons, napkins, etc for the toddler. The second time we went early on Saturday - I got a skillet which was good. It was cheesy potatoes and eggs - not really stand out so I would skip it next time. My husband got the hash combo which he really liked. The corned beef hash is made from scratch and definitely the hash winner. Our waitress was also very polite, nice, and helpful again! I originally left a Great review. The location, atmosphere and staff serving their customers are still friendly and do a great job. However, pricing.. yea not so much. I was charged 7.00 for a single hot dog on a plate with absolutely nothing: No Bun, No Lettuce .. jus a plain grilled hot dog with mustard/ relish on the side. ( I asked for it that way: figuring it's still going to be pricy but 7.00?. Seriously.) ( Not even a foot long, and was very small) I try very hard to support small business n those that work for them. It's sad to see other small business taking or looking like they are taking advantage of an economy/customers that are trying to pull the small business owners up and help them become or stay successful! I tip well, have gone their many times. Not sure I'll be returning. I work hard for my money as everyone does.
