Stopped by for a quick coffee and snack, and I have to say--this place definitely lives up to its name! The coffee was fantastic--smooth, bold, and just the right strength. I also couldn't resist trying the empanadas, and they were amazing. We sampled all three, but the shredded beef one was hands down our favorite--flaky, savory, and packed with flavor. The colada was perfect as well--sweetened just right, not too overpowering, but enough to give it that sweet kick. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It's the kind of spot that makes you feel like you're part of the neighborhood. I'll definitely be coming back for more coffee and empanadas!

This is a great spot for Cuban Coffee and for Cuban sandwiches, breakfast and lunch. For full details see johntannersbbqblog and search "best coffee"

The best coffee in Key West, in my opinion. I would highly recommend this place.

The coffee is wonderful. The breakfast was very good as well. I asked the owner about the coffee, and he brought out a handful of freshly roasted coffee beans, and it smelled so good. I have been back twice and plan on going again tomorrow. Very nice and clean place to grab a Cuba coffee and get on with your day. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This was previously The White Street Sandwich Shop - New Name - Same great food and service - get your morning buche here! I can't brag enough about this little window next to the laundry mat. The people are friendly and fast whipping up the daily orders of café con leche, buche and other beverages as the morning regular locals bombard the window with their daily orders. For me it's the buche that jump starts my day at the end of a run, but whatever your flavor, you can guarantee consistency and a delicious cup of joe. There is also a small indoor area to the left of the window with cold beverages and water bottles for the taking, along with limited seating.

Hidden local spot. So delicious and definitely one of our favorite places to go. Great Cuban coffee and traditional Cuban food.

This place needs a serious name change. We ordered 2 black coffee and we ended up tossing in the garbage 1 block away. Awful!

The best coffee in town had no coffee ? Rather disappointing. The sandwich was nice though and the price was right.

For a few bucks you can get enough Cuban espresso to to keep the entire neighborhood awake all night. These coladas are 2 legit 2 quit.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I ordered with a lovely blonde girl working…read morethe meat slicer. At first she apologized and said she would be right with me (I assured her there was no need to apologize as she was working so hard)! When I ordered with her I asked for the gluten free bread option and she asked if I needed for her to change her gloves. She also explained to me how they don't do the "mini" size in gluten free, the smallest they do with gluten free bread is the regular so that was fine for me. My interaction with her alone really meant so much to me! I really appreciated her attention to my gluten sensitivity. At this point I thought wow, this place deserves five stars. But then I had two more stops down the line. My next stop was the girl who was putting the toppings in the sandwich. She and the man in the back who was putting together a kids meal decided it would be a good time to throw lettuce at each other. Personally, I worked at a restaurant when I was young. I get it. But not in front of customers. Don't throw lettuce into each others stations while there's people around. It was really unprofessional and unsanitary (they were throwing the same lettuce at each other). I will say the boy started it, but it didn't help the girl did it back at him. Anyways after that I had to deal with the cashier who I can only hope was on his first shift. It was difficult for him to understand the sandwich I got, as he was pressing so many different buttons. But at least he went back and asked the girl like three times what kind of sandwich it was before changing it to the right order. Thankfully I was able to see the screen/ which order I ended up paying for. Overall, sandwich was good, stacked with stuff. But they need to do better with training their employees. I wish I got the name of the girl working the meat slicer because she was the only one who had it together!

They worked as a team to make one of the best subs I've ever had from this company! As a key west resident me and many others are plagued with migrant fatigue and poor service from them I'm glad to see one company has a good hiring manager and staff!
