Wow! What a gem here in town. Stopped for breakfast and they knocked it outing the park. We were warmly greeted and seated right away to the only open table left. Their menu was extensive and we choose a large 2 fish salmon platter to split along with separate breakfast plate of egg. Potato's, and bacon. The bagels were outstanding. Read about this place as a hidden gem, not exactly in the heart of the tourist zone. You'll probably need a car to get here but definitely worth the ride and effort. Had the recommended corn beef hash which was freshly made and outstanding, great potato sides etc, took some home. Waiter was a real pro, friendly and attentive but not annoying. This diner tucked into a strip mall on the northern end of Key West is pretty incredible. They are fast, friendly, reasonably priced, and offer a high-quality dining experience in a no-frills setting. I ordered the smoked whitefish salad on an everything bagel with a side of bacon. It was crazy busy on Sunday morning but you can order to go at the counter and my bagel took about 10 minutes. I tried the salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. Very salty with big flakes which I love! The cream cheese was good and could have had a bit more scallion mixed in. My husband and I are obsessed with Goldman's Deli. We order take out once a week, and dine-in probably once a month. It's the only deli I'm aware of that makes proper fresh-NY style bagels. They're the best bagels I've ever tasted in key west! And they have a ton of flavors! Their menu is extensive. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. The lunch menu is equally impressive as breakfast. I'm obsessed with their Rachel sandwich, it's similar to a Reuben but with Turkey & slaw instead of Kraut. Sooo good!! They also have a delicious few choices for vegetarian sandwich's , which I find unique for most delis. Their home made banana bread is out of this world. The service is fantastic. The perfect type of service especially for folks that aren't locals! We were greeted and sat immediately even though when we walked in it was pretty busy. only two tables open! she got us started with waters, and gave us time for our food order, and some great recommendations were made. my boyfriend had one of the items on the specials list and i had a BLT it was amazing. Went here for breakfast since our hotel didn't offer one, and we were pleased with our choice. We saw what appeared to be ALOT of locals grabbing breakfast to go, which is always a really good sign. I got the early bird special with 2 eggs over medium, home fries, a bagel, and coffee for a really decent price. The server asked if I wanted butter or cream cheese for my bagel, and I ordered cream cheese. One thing to note is that there is a $1.25 charge for cream cheese, which I only found out when I got the bill. Service was pretty good, with the only real issue is the server forgot that I wanted coffee but didn't eventually remember before I had to remind them. My wife got the 2-4-2. She got her eggs scrambled, bacon, and pancakes. She said that the eggs may be the best restaurant eggs she has ever had! Bacon was fairly crispy which is the way she likes it. The pancakes were quite large and she couldn't even finish 1 much less the whole order. My daughter ordered the cinnamon role, and didn't really care for the icing. Not sure how they make it, but I also didn't think it was very good (would have preferred a softer / gooier icing). She was still hungry and so I flagged down our server and ordered her a blueberry bagel. She liked the bagel better than the cinnamon roll. Quite a bit of seating, but most folks did choose to order ahead and take their food to go. Service was good 4 /5. Food was good 4.5/5. I would definitely go back.
