I checked today and the exact same tickets are now selling for about half of what I paid in advance. I called to ask if they would offer a price adjustment and was told there was absolutely nothing they could do. That was really disappointing, especially since the messaging on the website strongly encourages buying early to avoid higher prices later. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last trip to this mountain. I'll be sticking with Brian Head in the future. The pricing feels misleading, and the lack of customer service when I called didn't help the situation.

We had two rooms for three nights and got four free ski lift tickets! On our last night there was a planned power outage from 11 PM to 3 AM by the local power company. It went by uneventful though no big deal. The hotel did provide extra blankets and a flashlight for each room. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good. And my son got a nice Philly cheesesteak one night for dinner. I think we'll be back. It's a nice place!

The wildlife in the park is always fun to watch. Hummingbirds, geese, rabbits and an occasional fancy peacock provide morning and late afternoon entertainment. But the best amenity is the close access to the famous Utah Paiute ATV trail system or the Old Spanish Trail bike path. Clearly the posting was meant to deceive as the place was not as advertised. We rented months in advance and you can't tell me the 'mountain lodge' could be surrounded by an entire village in less than a year. Photoshopped pics? Selective camera angle? Whatever. The building itself was built in the late 1880's and house the then Snow Academy founded by LDS church leader Brigham Young and his cousin. The Co-op building is more than just a local shop filled with items for sale by local artists though, it also houses a venue upstairs for things like receptions The building sits on the corner of Main Street a few blocks away from the college. There is plenty of parking behind the building and also in the street. A lot of the items in the store are created by local artists and people whose heritage traces back to the area. You can find crafts of all sorts. Recipe books, paintings, knitwear, you can find a bit of everything. The venue upstairs rents out for receptions and has plenty is space for seating. There is a kitchen for small food prep and a changing room if you are doing a wedding reception. Old wooden floors, adobe brick walls and a nice wooden staircase lead into the main area .
