This review would be a 5 if only the parking lot was bigger.I've lived in Carson for years and have always loved this place.They definitely have the best burgers in town(much better than the fat burger down the street).I love a messy burger filled with lots of goodness and their chili cheese burger does the trick.When you open the wrapping to the burger you will definitely get tingles inside your tummy b/c the burger looks so tasty.When you bite into the burger your mouth fills w/ everything(the meat,chili,cheese,& whatever toppings you like on your burger) after the first bite you will be hooked.I know I am. The place itself is very small on the inside which makes the wait time kind of long especially if they are busy when you get there, but if you call and place an order it will be faster.I suggest you try this delicious burger place yourself but trust me it's the best burger in town. read more

I my was my first time here & I ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was really disappointing. The French fries have no seasoning. The meat is really salty & the sandwich overall was just sad. I love pastrami sandwiches but this is one place I will not be going to. I don't recommend it. read more

These folks are the best. Authentic burgers made to order. Fries are always hot and crispy. I can call in an order after work, tell them what time I can get there and the food is always ready at the right time. All the workers are friendly. I used to like this place, but not anymore because I ate one of their turkey burgers and got FOOD POISONING!!! I picked up a turkey burger and fries on Sunday night 05/04/2014 went home and ate it. Woke up Monday morning with the worst pain and cramps ever!! I had vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days. Tuesday around 12noon my daughter said "I'm taking you to emergency". I checked out of emergency at 7:06pm Tuesday. I feel like myself again! YAY!!!! I will never eat there again. You shouldn't have to go somewhere to eat and get sick. It's not right. If the meat is bad or left out too long throw it out, don't serve it to your paying customers! read more

Big Burger has the best turkey burgers I've ever tasted in life! Cash only, aww. Sucks for us who only carry plastic. The employees are always friendly. Sometimes you have to ask them to add extra seasoning on your fries though. No restroom and not the best place to eat inside. But the food makes up for all the negatives. Its friday night and in the area wanting a Good tasting burger but was a little irritated they put two burgers one double and one single and fries in a small brown bag so by the time we got home the bag broke and out fell the burgers luckily the were wrapped tight (but did lose some fries in the break) the fries we didnt lose were just ok they werent seasoned enough. This is a sweet strip mall, hole-in-the-wall type of burger joint that has pretty good food! I tried the pastrami burger and my co-worker had the turkey burger. Both were delicious. My only complaint would be the onion rings which were burned. I'll be attending CSUDH nearby, so i'll definitely try Big Burger again. read more

I visited the big burger today on June 22nd 2017 I ordered the big turkey burger combo with onion rings instead of fries. They use 100% vegetable oil to fry their onion rings and french fries. The turkey burger was amazingly delicious however their hamburger bun wasn't that great to say the least it was just a basic bun. This hamburger would have been perfect if it just had a better bun. So if you guys are reading your reviews and prove your bun or offer a choice and you probably will have the best burger in town I still give you guys a thumbs up. read more

Best turkey burgers! Food is awesome and it's made right in front of you. I've been living in the area almost my whole life so majority of the staff knows me and are very kind! I bring everyone i know here and it's usually love at first bite! I recommend the colossus burger (pastrami burger) with chili cheese. Giant sloppy bundle of deliciousness! And the fries are always fresh and you can season them to your liking.. For super fast service I recommend calling your order in that way it's just waiting on you. read more

The BEST Turkey Burgers in town!

Hands down..the. best. turkey. burger. ever. I like to order it with grilled onions and egg on it. They recently just added avocados to the menu so you know I will be back here once again. It's a perfect place to get some food if you're in the mood for the best burger in california. The owner is a nice korean lady and be nice to the cooks, Alex and Armando...they hook up the great burgers(I always say be nice to the people who control your food..I think it's good advice) They also sell this really good peach cobbler that is to die for. I can't get enough of it. I wish the store was a bit bigger but I can't complain because the burgers are too delicious. WAAAYY better than in-n-out or fatburger. read more

You must try the Turkey Cheese Burger! It's amazing. It's moist and flavorful, made as you order. I would recommend to call in and place your order to just arrive and pick up. This place is small and they are very popular. If you get there during lunch you run the risk of having to wait about 15 minutes for your food. Even so, it is worth the wait. This place is horrible. They staff wears dirty clothes, the counters were dirty. I ordered because I was with my boss and they claimed the food was great. I had to come up with some sudden illness so I didn't have to eat the food. If I can call it that. The turkey burger was hard to the touch and the shredded lettuce was wilted. My honey went for a burger run. He ordered 4 burgers, 1 turkey burger and an order if onion rings. He watched the fry cook drop in 8 onion rings into the fry basket. He asked the lady if that was a full order? She rudely screamed at him , you get eight! If that wasn't enough she held up her hands showing him her finger count if 8. WTF! He rreceived his order and returned home. They short changed him a burger but, he said I'm not going back there they are TOO DAMN RUDE! Bacon Cheeseburger extra cheese with egg and grilled onions!

I remember when this place 1st opened in the 80's...myyyyy how it has gone downhill regarding customer service. I recently decided to ban this place forever when I had an altercation with the young man on the cash register wanted to act like he was the catch me outside girl. He made a mistake when ringing our order up and instead of him just apologizing he wanted to run off at the mouth. The owner wasn't in and one of the gentlemen I usually always deal with seemed not to have any control over this guy. He started getting loud and cursing which provoked me to get loud and curse back. Like I told the other gentleman, this is how you lose business and loyal customers. The youngster kept screaming he was the manager and kept cursing. I told him he couldn't manage himself let along a small operation like big burger. I now drive to Mom's burgers in Compton. Yes it's a little farther, but at least I don't deal with rude and unprofessional behavior. I also have the option of having cheddar cheese on my burgers, sandwiches and chili cheese fries. Oh when I called the next day to speak with the owner, he shun the entire situation off. This is a negative 1 star. I WOULDN'T EAT HERE AGAIN IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!
