The customer service was horrible, whoever the girl was that served me seemed like she had an attitude and when my order was done she questioned me to see if it was my order when it was only 1 other customer there. If I could have given them a zero rating, I would have. My boyfriend and I ordered two different kinds of turkey burgers to be eaten in-house. Both of our orders were incorrect: they had toppings we did not order, were missing toppings that we did order, and they both were packaged to go. When we asked for the order to be corrected, they acted as if *we* were the problem. Instead of redoing the burgers, they simply scraped off the ingredients that they mistakenly added, did not add the missing toppings, and handed the burgers back to us. I was allergic to one of the "mistaken" toppings and I literally got sick from eating the few bites I ate. When I complained to the counter person, he actually said, "Don't tell me about it. I did not make your burger." I asked for the manager and I have never, ever had anybody be so cavalier. He eventually agreed to remake the burger and then he turned around and threw the burger as hard as he could in disgust on the grill. By that time, I was about to throw up so my boyfriend and I left. I will never go back there again. With all of the burger choices that we have in our area, I simply will not waste our time or money. Good burgers, but they have a hard time making the fries well done. As a student of CSUDH, I'll probably be eating here a bit more regularly than I should. It reminds me of a place closer to home in mid-city LA....A friend and I ate here one evening, and I was fighting off a cold. I sat at the rear with my back to the door, coat and scarf wrapped tight, but it was still a chilly night in November. Visited this establishment and wasn't all that impressed. Took my older sister made things worse. Looking around the area it seemed very similar to the Hawkins House of Burgers across the street from the projects in Watts :-/ So if you are not too accustomed to visiting that kind of enviornment you shouldn't stop by. After a messed up order from Mom's burger, I decided to head on down to The Big Burger instead. Read some good reviews and gave it a shot. Ordered a big burger (1/2 lb) with everything but onions, plus egg & bacon. Also ordered a side of chili cheese fries. The burger itself reminded me of FATBURGER and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The chili cheese fries were completely DISGUSTING. The fries seemed like they were just defrosted and the texture of the chili was not appealing whatsoever. The bf took a few bites and I took one bite and off to the trash it went. Great burger I would recommend this place. I didn't have much help when I went to decide so I went with a chilli burger. It was great the price for the meal was fair I have to say like 7 something. The service wasn't all that great I told the guy I wanted a chilli burger and he asked me what I didn't want on it. I asked what came on it and he pointed to a sign that had a bunch of toppings, I wasn't aware mayonnaise came on a chilli burger but w/e dude. I could have saved the drive time and walked to the corner burger place whose turkey burger tastes exactly the same.I would classify the fries as below average. It's had pressed and fresh. It was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My only 2 reasonings for the 4 star instead of 5 is {BTW the food was definitely 5 star} is #1 I wanted cheddar cheese on my burger and they only had american cheese and #2 the girl that took my order was all around the food, stove, and food prep area with a long swinging ponytail, and she was not wearing a hair net. i've bad experiences with hair being in my food in the past (not from this location) and I wouldn't want that to be a reason why I don't return. I just feel its sanitary to wear a hair net near food, especially if you have long hair. read more

Don't go unless you like disrespect. I got in to it with the guy there because I asked for hamburger with only pickles and mustard. When I got home it had cheese I called them to tell him the problem an he rudely told me I should have said no cheese (even though I said only pickles an mustard ) an then he continue to say it was my fault which if he knew the customers never wrong. I've passed this place a few times, but the parking was so bad I never tried to go in. No better tonight, plus there must have been something going on at either the Home Depot Center or the College because the traffic was horrible going that direction. I ended up parking in the library lot next door. It was 6:30 on a Wed. night, and there were plenty of spaces left so I felt OK about it. The place was very clean and the guy at the counter very friendly. I can see how this could get crowded at lunch time - there are only a few tables for two and seven seats along the counter. It was empty when I came in, but a few people (two who were obviously regulars) came in and the phone rang quite a few times. I got an egg cheeseburger and, based on the reviews of the fries, onion rings. The burger was very good, but I've decided based on this and Fatburger that I just don't care for relish on a burger. Otherwise, the patty was very moist and the bun very good. The rings were very good as well. They were very crispy, none too big, and the onion didn't come out at the first bite. They put ketchup in the bag without my asking. It really peeves me that some places won't throw 3 or 4 measly packets in.
