I love this place so much that I'm worried I won't find the words for this review. The ingredients are all super fresh and delish. I often just get the junior bowl and that's plenty foe a whole meal. The spice level on some of there stuff can catch up to you, especially if you also add spicy sauces. This is a great place to go if you're hungry and have a wide variety of palates that you're trying to please.

Great fast casual healthy Mediterranean spot. Opted for the winter shawarma for me, and a chicken and rice bowl kids meal for my son. We customized both items with the sauces we like. I got lemon garlic hummus, he got something that looked like tziki sauce. Meal was good, i'd come back.

This is the fast casual format. Lots of choices between bowls and wraps. I chose chicken chicken bowl. It included 2 varieties of chicken. Then all the added ingredients were pre determined. A customizable bowl is available, but I preferred letting them choose the combo. Also they will make small adjustments. So lots of flexibility, healthy bowls, and reasonable prices make for a winning combination.

Love this place! Has the usual bowls, salads and pita wraps (like its competitors) but also has pizzas and pides made to order fresh. Their selection of veggies is also more vast. They have the usual dips, sauces and veggies like cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, pickled onions, corn and red cabbage. They also have couscous, tabbouleh, Turkish salad, I picked a brown rice bowl with falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, and almost all veggies (chickpeas, tabbouleh, Turkish salad, onions, cucumbers, beets, cabbage, topped with tahini). This was enough for 2 meals, so filling but not heavy. Loved all the different textures and tastes. The falafels were crispy but light. Will be back!

I think I'm a fan!! Way more options compared to competition and I love the diversity of options! Pita on the side was fluffy and delicious as well. I'm the type of person to add everything, but i think I should narrow it down and find the perfect bowl because it was a bit too jumbled of flavors. I will say, ordering was a bit difficult and the server was not the friendliest person but thats fine. I think their juice options were the best out of all the fast dining places i've been to. Strawberry dragonfruit was a favorite but I personally really liked the mandarin cardamom mixed with a berry one with turmeric? I'm a water girl--but here? I'm getting a drink! Theres a combination for everyone so I'd definitely recommend, especially compared to the other options in this plaza.

Amazing portions here, leaves me so so full. Everything is so fresh and you can get unlimited dips and hummus options, crazy!! You can either take it to go or eat in the restaurant, where then they'd give you cute bowls to eat in. The interior of the restaurant is also super cute, very clean. Definitely my go to place after church for a filling clean meal! Also great service, the workers always fill my top to the brim yay!

Saw a post somewhere that this location had recently opened. I have been to Mezeh before in other locations and have always loved getting their bowls whenever I get a chance. Plus, I always get a cookie too. This location is in Aspen Hill Shopping Center, so while parking is available and free, you are also looking for a spot like everyone else in the plaza. Mezeh is located next to Capital One and walking distance from the McD's. The space inside is colorful and seating is available indoors (there is no outdoor seating). You can Build your Own Bowl, Wrap, or Pita with Greens & Grains, Protein, Toppings, and Sauce, all of your choice, or order one that is already pre-selected with specific choices - those are listed on the menu as Rice Bowl, Salad Bowl, Flatbread Wrap or Pita. There is also plenty drink choices as well. Here is what I ordered: * Meal: Build Your Own Bowl. * Greens & Grains: Spinach, White Basmati Rice. * Protein: Chicken Shawarma, Shredded Lamb. The lamb was considered extra meat as you only get 1 protein choice for this meal, however it was very dry. I'll try something different next time (if I get extra). * Toppings: Classic Hummus, Lebanese Tabbouleh, Pearl Couscous (my fave), Roasted Corn Salsa, Cherry Tomatoes, Dried Cranberries. * Sauce: Balsamic Vinaigrette. Luckily for me, I ordered my dressing on the side, because as I prepared to eat my meal at another location, I realized the employee I dealt with gave me a dressing that was not Balsamic Vinaigrette. It makes sense as they didn't seem to understand what it was to begin with. No worries, as I'll just make sure to ask someone else to assist if I experience that again. I still enjoyed my bowl which came with pita bread (in its own bag). In addition to the bowl, I couldn't resist the urge to get one of their cookies near the register - Chocolate Chip cookie - it is very thin, but quite delicious. I also got the Rice Bowl called "Chicken Chicken" and the Flatbread Wrap called "Steak and Greens". Be aware that the Steak & Greens Wrap is massive. The folks who had these enjoyed their meal as well. Chicken Chicken Rice Bowl consists of brown basmati rice, chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, Turkish salad, classic hummus, tzatziki dip, roasted corn salsa, chickpea salad, pickled turnips, spicy pickled cabbage, tzatziki & lemon garlic dressing. Steak & Greens Flatbread Wrap consists of mixed greens, steak shawarma, Lebanese tabbouleh, spicy hummus, red cabbage slaw, roasted corn salsa, crumbled feta, pickled turnips, lemon garlic dressing. I'll be back to try one of their drinks next time: Berry Patch, Mandarin Cardamom, Peach, or Strawberry Dragonfruit, even though they have others. Visited April 2024.

Poor customer service. I was refused extra of a topping and told the pick something else. Problem was none of the other toppings looked fresh. They look like they just been sitting there for a while. It's probably because they are so stingy and don't give extra of a topping to people when they ask and they don't get a lot of business so the food starts looking brown around the edges and nobody wants to eat it. I definitely won't be back.

Food is Same Day fresh. They have Great options, with crispy Pita's. Yes, Seriously Can't go wrong. You can choose a board selection or just walk down the line and build your own. Which I did. Plus a mixed concoction of my own from the juice bar, I served it up. I had chicken madness while My girl did some salad thing. All in all 5 star. They made it look cool with plywood and led's. Vibes was retro and tables were clean.

Mezeh classic with some pickled beets and some pickled turnips which that's different

Excellent healthy tasty compatible to cava. In Aspen Hill great find my first time I'll be back . They have a drink mandarin cardamom I like too

Mythe food heat is amazing and the staff is great. By far the best I eat here everyday

It has become quite popular and there are a lot of white customers these days... I hope the food maintains its quality and flavor. The service is always friendly and I like the Ethiopian beer.

Their tomato lettuce salad is perfection, not an afterthought, and I wouldn't mind if they gave me a whole bowls worth to grab in every bite! I've sampled bits of the meat off my partner's platters, and it far exceeds any we've ever tasted around here from an ethiopian restaurant. Back to the ambiance. I recently brought two good friends here because the space is bright and decent. That said, reservations are a MUST if you are bringing a party of larger than 2, due to how tiny the space is, and for a group, you really need to get spots either by the window or maybe their dark nook in the back. (you'll know when you visit). So so good... I'm not sure I want to go anywhere else at this point for my ethio fix!

You can adjust the heat (we chose medium) and the portions are generous. Keep in mind that Thai food can be extremely spicy, so choose wisely :D I can't get over how exceptional everything tasted. I remember it being good but not like this. The chicken tasted CLEAN (this requires a full-blown conversation to explain) and had the perfect bite. If you're ordering takeout then make sure to mix the noodles before eating. The samosas were PERFECT. Is it pricier than other places? Yes. Does the taste match the price? Also yes. Keep in mind that sometimes it's because of the ingredient quality and where it comes from. Some are simply more expensive than others. My attitude towards Thai food is a bit of a love/hate situation, but Amina just might put me back on the love wagon. Some places have this overwhelming fishy taste in everything, which I truly hate. I recommend exercising caution when experimenting with their menu items that specifically indicate SPICY because in my experience spicy here means loaded which chili pepper and almost to the point where you might miss the overall flavor of the dish due to the heat being so much in the foreground. Storefront street parking is terrible so you'll need to take advantage of nearby parking garages if you are not walking. Overall a good experience. I'll continue to patronize this place. My wife and I had been here for lunch before and had a good experience, so this time we figured why not check it out for dinner? Turns out, it was a great idea. The wait for the food was a bit on the longer end, but to be perfectly fair, we ordered a LOT, so we certainly didn't mind. By the time the food hit the table, we forgot about it almost entirely because the smells of freshly made kitfo, lamb tibs, and this stewed chicken dish whose name I can't remember (but it came with a hardboiled egg!) hit our nose, nothing else mattered. The food was presented in a way that somehow matched the overall vibe of the restaurant, which at this time of night was set to be kinda toned down with dingy lighting and smooth music. Huge call out to my waiter that I curse myself for not getting his name, because he is, simply put, the best server I've ever had at a restaurant. Not only was he timely and discreet about topping off our waters, but also checked in about soft drinks as well, and when he heard my son saying the food was too spicy for him, he took it upon himself to get him something else to eat that wasn't spicy at all, and without myself or my wife asking. It wasn't a platter type of night, but both Indian and Ethiopian cuisines have some great appetizers, so we stopped in after a movie. It was cool to see the breakdown of a vibey bar scene on one side and a sit down area on the other period both sides had the World Cup showing, so there was really no going wrong. The woman who greeted us led us to decide where we wanted to go. According to their hours, they are open until 1AM. We decided to get the stuffed naan basket, sambusas, and chicken momos -- A nice but fairly light spread for the evening. We or later told that they were finished with the naan basket... For an Indian restaurant more than 3 hours before they closed, that was surprising to me... I should have specified whether it was naan in general or just that basket, but still. The other two items came after 25 minutes or so. The sambusas were fried HARD, but had a great flavor. The momos were solid! We had a good time catching up, and they did great keeping water refilled (mostly). It took a while to close out -- they probably thought we were invested in the game and not in a hurry, but it's a weeknight and we were on Metro's time. I am curious about their proper Indian and Ethiopian entrees ... By the way, I saw a mouse right before we left... It was in the back on the dining room side past the tables.
